“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Betsy did an amazing job watching my miniature dachshund. I was originally going to bring him to a boarder, but after doing a test appointment it seemed like a really bad fit. He was very afraid & I definitely would've worried about him the entire time I was gone. I am SO glad I didn't go that route & instead tried out Rover & brought my little dog to Betsy because she was able to provide a comfortable environment for him. She sent updates & photos while I was out of town on a trip, which I loved! I definitely knew my dog was in great hands. Price was reasonable too! Will definitely be using her again in the future!!!”

“Lydia was great! We looked forward to our daily photos of Gal having fun in the yard or with friends. Gal looked happy to be at her own hotel while we were at ours. Lydia was also so kind to do a meet and greet before we accepted the Rover request. Thank you Lydia! We’ll be reaching out again for sure!”

“Kyle provided a comfortable stay for my dog Len's first Rover experience. Even though it was a pretty short stay it was so nice to get pictures and an update on how Len was doing. Will definitely be using Kyle again!”

“Sarah was great and sent great updates of my cat during her overnight stay. My cat is usually very shy to strangers, but she warmed right up to her! She can’t wait for Sarah to babysit again sometime!”

About: 🐱 I’ve been around cats for most of my life and currently have two of my own. I found my emotional support cat in 2015, and he’s been by my side ever since- even traveling with me through college. In December 2024, I adopted another sweet girl cat, so caring for cats has become a huge part of my everyday life. I also volunteer at a shelter as a “Cat Buddy,” where I spend time socializing and caring for cats with all kinds of personalities and comfort levels. Over the years, I’ve developed a really special connection with cats and genuinely love earning their trust, whether they’re playful, shy, independent, or super affectionate. I know every cat is different, and I always try to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away through patience, attention, play, and companionship.
“Amber has been our go to pet sitter for our two cats, our boys love her and she always goes above and beyond whenever she looks after them, can’t recommend enough”

About: I am currently on the pre-veterinary track studying animal science in preparation for vet school. I have completed an internship with the wildlife rehabilitation center as a mammal nursery intern and am currently a veterinary assistant at a veterinary hospital. I am a full time university student but have plenty of availability and flexibility. I am open to moving my days’ schedule around to fit different pet needs! I ensure that there is a mutual respect and understanding between humans and pets. It is important to treat your pets as you would people, and show care and affection as they truly understand it.

“Marit did a great job with my cat! She was very communicative, and my cat warmed up to her right away. I felt so much better knowing she was popping in for visits and giving him some playtime. I highly recommend Marit for any pet-sitting services.”
“Queenie was so nice and attentive to my 3 months old kitten. My kitten looked comfortable and playful in all the videos and pictures that she sent me while I was away. I will definitely let my kitten stay with Queenie and her cats again.”

“Clara took excellent care of my kitties while I was away! Great communication and response time. I would recommend Clara for any of your pet sitting needs!”

“Kira was amazing with my newly adopted dog. I didn't want him to be alone during a few medical appointments I had, so he stayed with her a few times. He came home so exhausted and happy and I was able to feel very comfortable and not worry about him being alone at his brand new home. I will definitely rebook with her again. Thanks Kira!”

“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

“Lydia has been so flexible with pick-up/drop off times and is willing to watch our dog on short notice. Mac absolutely loves her and I know he’s so well taken care of when he stays with her. Most times he doesn’t want to leave! We will use Lydia for as long as she’ll have him! ❤️”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“I appreciate Howie and the care he provided my pup! He had a blast and smiled all night! I feel good leaving him with Howie and I know he will be cared for the way I would.”

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

“Aimee was great. Patient with our buddy when he was nervous and her yard/house were a good fit for our pup. Good communication. We will reach out to her for daycare again!!”

About: I set the intention of pet care to being a friend to your pet and partner to you. I respect boundaries and priorities as needed. I currently work flexible hours throughout the week based off clientele. This would be an addition to my job as some days I have the entire day off or atleast half of it. Your pet always comes first. I take care of others pets like I’d expect a stranger to walk in and take care of mine. I want to leave with the intention that if I were to come back, your pet would open the door.
“Mckenzie was great! Moxie was obviously very happy there and went straight to bed when she got home! Thank you so very much! Mckenzie was super responsive to any questions! Denise and Jonathan”

“Nicole is absolutely amazing! My little guy is almost 15 weeks and loves to be outside. I greatly appreciated her taking him out for walks, making sure he was happy, taking him out for a multitude of potty breaks (sometimes 2 times in an hour if needed) and keeping me updated throughout the day. I highly recommend Nicole, especially if you want your dog to be well cared for!!”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. About: Hi! I’m Noah and I have 15 years of experience with all sorts of dogs. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from Great Danes to miniature dachshunds. My favorite part of being around dogs is playing with them, seeing their happy faces, and getting to experience nature with them. While I’ve never had a cat to call my own, I have played with and taken care of many cats over the years! I am currently a dog dad to a three-year old energetic dachshund and a German Shepherd mix puppy! I can’t wait to meet your pets! I work from home and am generally available after 4:30pm or before 7:30am, but I can be flexible! I live in an area with access to convenient walking trails and parks. Your pet’s safety, security, and health are my top priorities. I understand the trust you're placing in me to care for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“Madisen has been so wonderful with my dogs! I trust her completely to take great care of them. She keeps me updated and sends lots of adorable photos too. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Amy is fantastic! She definitely knows dogs and is comfortable, capable, and trustworthy. She has been walking our Pearl for a few weeks now and it has worked out great. Pearl needs a lot of exercise and Amy takes her out on long walks with her dog, Luna, and they have lots of adventures, like seeing ducks, smelling good spring smells, and playing together. I feel so much better during the day knowing that Pearl will get a long walk and some social time!”

About: I grew up with dogs and love spending time with them. I’m excited to give your dog a safe space and play with them! I don’t currently have a pet of my own so I love dog sitting. Flexible during each day of the week and flexible during work hours as well. Please give notice when scheduling or canceling a time with me. I live in an apartment with a lot of green space and parks around. Plenty of dog friendly walking. I’m comfortable adjusting to your homes environment as well to ensure the dogs needs are met.
“Jessica did a wonderful job walking our high energy dog, Isabella! She was available for a meet and greet beforehand, has been great to communicate with, and our dog was very happy after the walk. We look forward to having Jessica walk Isa again!”

“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. Rover is my full-time job, so I can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Kate is seriously the best! My dog loves going on long walks with Kate and getting a bunch of attention. I can tell Kate really cares about the pets she helps out with.”

“Jenna does a wonderful job with my greyhound Roo! She is attentive to her needs and reports concerns whenever she has them. She even has Roo trying to take me on her longer walking routes! I'm thrilled to have her support in caring for my sweet pup.”

About: Worked with PAWS at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules.
About: I've been around dogs for most of my life and had my own dog for 9 years, which gave me firsthand experience with daily care, exercise, and companionship. In addition, I've pet sat on two separate occasions for over two weeks at a time, caring for dogs by taking them on multiple walks each day, administering medication when needed, and making sure they received plenty of attention and affection. I'm very active and enjoy going on walks and runs, so I'm happy to provide dogs with the exercise and outdoor time they need. I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. My goal is to care for your pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits very well into my schedule. During the summer, I work part-time with flexible hours that are often outside of the typical 9–5 schedule, which gives me availability throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I am able to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets and families I work with. During the school year, I do not have a job, which gives me even more flexibility and availability. I am available most weekends and frequently have open time during the week as well. Whether your pet needs regular care, exercise, or companionship while you're away, I am committed to providing reliable and attentive care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication needs, and any specific preferences or rules. I understand that pets are most comfortable in familiar environments, so I focus on creating a calm, safe, and stress-free experience while their owners are away. I am attentive to each pet's behavior and needs, making sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. Above all, I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own.

“We were so happy to have Abby walk our dog. She was prompt, took her on a great 2 mile walk (thanks for the pics!), and even fed her dinner and let her outside one last time before she left. We will definitely use her again! 😉 🐾”

About: I am a very loving person who has ALWAYS adored animals. My first very pets were two kittens named Tiger and Amy - who were brother and sister - and ended up having a litter together. I also had a dog named Sunshine who was a very energetic golden retriever. I took her on walks around our neighborhood and to the park for fetch and frisby. Most recently my parents got a puppy named flowers who is now almost 2 years old. I fed him, watched him when my parents were gone, took him for walks and did some training with him. Animals get a nice feeling around me and warm up to me fairly quickly. I am open to all dog types. Much love.
About: Hi! I'm Brinn and I'm a Minnesota transplant, here from Michigan. I've grown up with dogs, cats, and other small animas my entire life. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who truly loves animals. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time M-F but have a flexible schedule, especially on Mondays, Fridays, and throughout the weekend. I’m happy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, or sitting during these times, and I’m often able to adjust my availability as needed. Please feel free to reach out for my exact hours — I’m flexible with both time and location and always happy to discuss what works best for you and your pet. When caring for pets in your home, I’m always respectful of your space and follow your care instructions closely. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and keep a close eye on your pet’s comfort and safety. I also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: 🐾 I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and I started dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors when I was 10. When I got my own dog at 14, I fell in love with training and taught her over 20 tricks through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with both pets and owners, and I’ve been lucky to receive referrals from people who trust me with their dogs. I love making sure dogs are not just cared for, but genuinely happy and engaged. Whether that’s walks, playtime, enrichment games, training practice, or just giving them lots of attention and affection, I always try to match each dog’s personality and energy level. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I always want them to feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. I’m a college student currently on summer break, so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I truly look forward to every day. I’m also studying Animal Science, which has made me even more passionate about animal care and behavior. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and comfort levels, and I’ll treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I would my own.

“Lauren is such a wonderful person! Very personable, great communication, and she took such great care of my dog Skylar. They went for an hour-long walk around my neighborhood. Skylar looked so happy and was perfectly tired from the exercise. Highly recommend Lauren and will definitely book again!”
