Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.

This is is the first time I’ve left my dog with a Rover for day care. Kira does a great job with sending pics so you know your dog is doing great. When I picked my girl up she even walked back to Kira as though she wanted to stay haha. I’ll definitely use Kira again.

Ellen was AMAZING. She was so kind and caring and did a great job watching our pug, Yoshi! Ellen was very thoughtful and thorough for our meet and greet and I felt very comfortable having her watch our pet for the first time. We GREATLY appreciate her willingness to take Yoshi last minute! We would definitely recommend Ellen and look forward to more visits in the future!

McKenzie was amazing with my fearful chihuahua. She listed to his needs and more than delivered. We were visiting out of town and requested last minute. She was very responsive, kind, and accommodating. It gave us the ability to go see the museum and other things with the comfort in knowing his needs were met!

Best sitters ever! Couldn’t recommend Karen and Ryan enough. Lambo absolutely LOVES when he goes over to their house and gets the wiggles every time he see them. Just proves how much they care for your dog like their own. They’re very flexible with my schedule and I can’t appreciate that enough.

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.

About: I've always had an immense love of animals. I grew up with two cats and a small dog, have volunteered at animal shelters since I was a kid, and currently help care for my boyfriend's cat. I also bring two years of hands-on experience working at a pet store, where I handled animals daily and learned a lot about their behavior and needs. Animals have always felt like a natural part of my life, and I treat every pet in my care like my own! As a student taking online classes this summer, I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the day, including walks, playtime, and potty breaks. I live in a Minneapolis apartment with a pet courtyard for easy potty breaks and access to nearby parks and river trails for walks. I keep a calm, clean home environment and treat every pet like my own. I always communicate with owners through updates and photos so they feel confident their pet is in good hands.

About: I've fostered all kinds of dogs since high school - from senior couch potatoes, to high-drive working breeds, to shy puppies. I raised my German shorthair Togo since he was nine weeks old, and I also help take care of my partner's 10-year-old dog who takes daily medication. I love getting to know a dog's unique needs and personality. I work from home part-time as a translator and writer, so I have a lot of flexibility to tailor my schedule to your dog's needs. My daily schedule involves doing enrichment and exercise activities with my own dog throughout the day (sniffaris, training sessions, running, games, etc.), and I'd plan on doing the same with your dog too. I have a fenced-in yard and a very playful (but kind and respectful) host dog who would love to give your dog company. I might go out for up to two hours at a time to run errands or work from a coffee shop, but otherwise I'll be around.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, ranging in sizes from mini - extra large! I have always had a love for taking care of dog and I would love to meet yours! I am a volunteer for No Dogs Left Behind- that is where we rescued our Willy boy from! We also temporarily foster from time to time. If there are any commands or simple trainings that you would like for me to work on, I am happy to. I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me too plan my day around your dogs needs! My typical day consist of breakfast and potty 7-8am, Midmorning playtime/ potty, 2-3pm lunch then potty, 4:30pm playtime/ walk, 7pm dinner, 8pm night walk. I live on a first floor apartment with a partially fenced in backyard, making it easy to let your fur baby out to play and potty as much as needed! I know how scared it is to leave your furry friend for the day and or a long trip. I will assure you that my household is a welcoming, fun, and calming environment! I live about 10 minutes away walking to the lake of the Isles dog park (if you are comfortable with it) and have the Greenway 200 feet away for great walks and sniffs. My dog William, the love bug, gets along great with all breeds and sizes.

About: I set the intention of pet care to being a friend to your pet and partner to you. I respect boundaries and priorities as needed. I currently work flexible hours throughout the week based off clientele. This would be an addition to my job as some days I have the entire day off or atleast half of it. Your pet always comes first. I take care of others pets like I’d expect a stranger to walk in and take care of mine. I want to leave with the intention that if I were to come back, your pet would open the door.

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.
