Experienced, Reliable Dog Lover Dogs have been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality, quirks, and routines. I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to elderly dogs with special needs. I have a 6-year-old Border Collie/Heeler mix named Bubble, who I've raised since he was a puppy. I've personally handled his crate, potty, leash, and basic obedience training, and I've taught him plenty of cool tricks along the way. He's friendly, well-socialized, gentle with puppies and smaller dogs, neutered, and fully vaccinated. I've also cared for my sister's dog for extended periods, including while raising Bubble as a puppy, so I'm comfortable managing multiple dogs at once. I've cared for senior dogs requiring medications, special diets, diapers, bathing, and extra help getting around. I also have experience working with shelter dogs, helping them become better socialized, more comfortable around people, and ready for adoption. Whether your dog needs a long walk, some playtime, a little extra patience, or simply someone trustworthy to keep them company, I'll treat them like they're my own. I'm happy to follow your dog's routine and give you updates so you know they're doing well while you're away.

We had such a great experience with Sawyer! He was so accommodating with our last-minute booking while I was traveling, and made the whole process so easy. I got lots of pictures and updates throughout Scotch’s stay, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was being so well taken care of. Scotch had the best time playing with Sawyer’s dog and was one very tired, happy boy when I picked him up! We’ll definitely be booking with Sawyer again. Highly recommend! 🐶🫶🏼
Sawyer was wonderful with my dog. He made sure to take him on walks, feed him, and play with him. He is very responsive whenever I have requests. He makes sure my pet is safe and happy and reassures me about how my pet is doing.

Schedule
I'm currently a student without a full time job so I'm pretty much available full time until school starts. I can walk your dog regularly and keep an eye on them. I live in an apartment but I'm just a short walk from Loring Park and take my dog there regularly.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a pretty spacious one bedroom apartment with my wife who is also experienced with dogs and helped raise mine with me. Like I stated, my dog is excellent with other dogs and gentle with puppies and small breeds. He is also neutered and fully vaccinated. There's a fenced in dog park next to my apartment. I have a medium/small crate as well as plenty of cozy blankets that I can fill them with. I keep a clean house. Even though I trust my dog, I stay vigilant to never allow any dangerous, swallowable, chewable objects, cleaning chemicals, garbage, or human food to be in reach of my dog. I do have lots of plants but I have made sure that none of them are toxic to dogs.

A typical day
My dog is super playful and mostly enjoys playing tug. He LOVES other dogs. I like to walk or run with him in Loring Park and let him play in the dog park there.

- Your dog must get along with other dogs. Bubble does exceedingly well with other dogs and even aggressive ones. We can do a meet and greet first to see if they vibe but they must be a friendly dog. If your dog barks or whines excessively, then it may not be a good fit since I live in an apartment. They however won't be left alone for more than 20 minutes. Obviously if they have any special needs, medications, diet, etc., let me know that as well. Please be as descriptive of their needs as you can.
