We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog!

We have 2 large kid friendly dogs and they enjoyed their stay and got lots of love! Great communication and a fenced in backyard. Our first request from now on when we go on vacation :)
Kara, Adam and family were amazing! Twyla got the best care and even surprised us by eating her full dinner and going on walks! As an anxious pup, we never know how she’ll respond to a new environment but she settled in like it was her own home and had an amazing time.
Adam and Kara are hands down the best pet sitters we’ve found so far! They took amazing care of our dog, Oona, and we couldn’t be happier with their service. I cannot say enough good things about Kara and Adam. I have been consistently using their family for the past two years and have never had anything but great experiences. I always get a flood of pictures from Kara of her and her family loving on my dog. It is such a good feeling to see how excited my dog gets when we pull up to their house and makes leaving her for trips a little bit easier.
Mr. Pumpkin was well taken care of on his first daycare experience. As a 12yo Schnoodle, he loves attention, and came home exhausted after a full day of attention, walks and play.

Schedule
We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

A typical day
Playtime in the backyard with Oli, Lulu, and family. Walks through the neighborhood and along the Mississippi river on quiet city streets. Lots of dog toys and comfy couches for naps. Off leash dog park for extra stimulation.
