I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes and work, I’m fully available on Fridays and weekends and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. About: I have had a dog (yellow lab) since I was in sixth grade, and I have taken care of coworker’s pets on occasion. I now have a rescue pitbull I love dearly. I can walk and play and sit with your pet to make sure they feel loved and have fun. I am currently out of school for the summer and I have a very flexible schedule, and I would love to come hang out with your pets! I like to hang out with animals and make them feel comfortable; I have a nice large fenced in backyard, and I have a car that I can take your pet in, if they like going in the car. I am used to giving a dog two walks a day, in the morning and evening.

I’m currently unemployed and have an abundance of time on my hands to go for walks or play or stop in for a potty break. I have a fenced in back yard and two cats. I do not have access to a crate so if that is necessary, it would need to be provided.

About: I've always been a pet lover. Did pet sitting as a pre-teen and teenager. I had a soul cat for 15 years and a soul dog for 13 years. I have 2 grand-pups who I often dog sit or just take for a day adventure. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, fish, you name it. I pass you and your animal on the street don't be offended by me going straight to them first! Animals (all animals) seem to love me back too which I LOVE! I'm currently not working or occasionally working remote contract jobs so I have plenty of time to spend spoiling your furr baby! And spoil them I will!!!! I have a condo in Minneapolis near the Sculpture Garden and Loring park. I am on the first floor with a patio and yard so plenty of space to do their business or to take a great walk. My building is small and very pet friendly. I'm also comfortable traveling out to your home since I'm central to the area.

About: I've been caring for neighborhood pets since I was 13, and now I’ve been all over the Minneapolis area! My family rescue dog and elderly cat are my babies, they make me the best temporary pet parent I can be for you. I lost one of my elderly cats rather suddenly this fall, so I can say I definitely understand the anxiety of being away from your pets especially those with health issues or behavior quirks. I do what I do because of her, and as a Minneapolis transplant away from my animals, I am more than happy to spend time with yours! I work part-time, though my hours fall in the 9-5 window. However, there is flexibility for me to work remotely for part or sometimes full days with advance notice, depending on the project. I can usually accommodate whatever exercise your pet needs! I am also a dancer, so if your dog has acute health issues or requires constant supervision, we may not be the best fit, as training does require me to be out of the house in the evening. No 4-hour rehearsals right now, but I do take class most days of the week. I'll do my best to stick to a comfortable, consistent routine for your pet and make sure they get all the proper attention and love they need while you are gone. I'm happy to accommodate any medication or feeding requirements.
