“Scott was great with Birdie and Mogie. Communication and flexibility were top shelf and both of our cats bonded with Scott right away. I would highly recommend this sitter and Scott will be my first choice next time I need someone to look after our cats.”

“This is a late review; so sorry! Caroline was an excellent drop in visitor for my two cats, one of which had dietary restrictions. Will definitely try to work with Caroline again.”

About: With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rats, and even lizards! I’m confident handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions who need a bit of extra TLC. I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a second-year student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes, I’m fully available on Fridays and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to make the time you're gone as stress-free as possible for both of you.
“This was our first time using Rover and Krista exceeded all of our expectations with her care of our 2 cats. She followed all of our care instructions, gave frequent and thorough updates, and made us feel confident that our cats were safe. We would absolutely work with Krista again for future trips!”

“Molly was amazing. She watched my fury crew during the coldest weather and was amazing. Came home to pets excited to me yet relaxed and calm. Highly recommend!”

About: Originally from central Wisconsin, I have grown up and take care of animals my entire life. From minature yorkies to rottweilers (and even ferrets), I have owned and cared for animals of all sizes and energy levels. Since moving to Minneapolis for college, I’ve really missed having dogs and pets in my life. Being around animals is therapeutic for me and can completely turn around a bad day. Honestly, I’m not doing this just for extra cash — I miss being around pets and love spending time with them, playing with them, and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. I can't wait to meet your furry friends - thank you for your trust! I’m a recent college graduate with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for your pets. I also work remotely, which allows me to be responsive, and flexible when it comes to finding times that work best for you and your pet’s needs. I have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of space for pets of all sizes to play and enjoy being outside. I also live in a spacious home, so your pets will have lots of room to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home.
“Queenie took great care of my little high-maintenance kitty, Charlie Chaplin. She was very responsible & kept me informed on how her visits with him went and readily coordinated key collection/drop-off with me. I would recommend her to others needing pet care.”

About: I've cared for two dogs as I grew up, and look forward to caring for more. I have done many long walks and dog park hiking with my golden doodle, and have also done some training as well. I know how to take care of puppies and adult dogs, but would love to learn how to take care of special needs and senior dogs. Dogs, like mine, are energetic and need lots of exercise, so I am always willing to play or exercise with dogs. Over the summer (June-August), I am free most afternoons and some evenings the whole week. During the school year, (September-May) I am more available during the weekends, but still free during some afternoon/evenings during the week, which I'll update as I get my schedule. At home, I care for my dog by giving him plenty of snuggles, but also getting up and playing with him when he lets me know he wants to play. I am alert and can sense what my dog may need, such as going potty, playing, or eating. When walking/going to the dog park, I watch over my dog at all times, and walk along with him. During walks, I make sure that he is safe to walk and sniff the whole time. At dog parks, I encourage him to meet other dogs and run around while still being present. I notice when my dog gets tired or needs water, and I am prepared by bringing a water bottle.

“Shelby did an amazing job with both our pets. Highly recommend! Sent lots of pictures and took great care of them. We will definitely have Shelby back next time we are out of town.”

About: I am currently on the pre-veterinary track studying to work with animals as my career. I have completed an internship with the wildlife rehabilitation center as a mammal nursery intern and am currently a kennel assistant at a veterinary hospital. I am currently a full time university student but have plenty of availability and flexibility. I am open to moving my days’ schedule around to fit different pet needs! I ensure that there is a mutual respect and understanding between humans and pets. It is important to treat your pets as you would people, and show care and affection as they truly understand it.
“Abigail was wonderful with my boys, and very communicative each time she dropped in to care for them. It was a holiday week so I was very happy to have gotten her booked.”

“Jennifer was great with our two dogs! She was very communicative and made us feel very comfortable for our first time using Rover. We will definitely contact Jennifer again in the future.”

“Sierra did a great job of showing up on time and caring for my kitty. I was really comfortable with her during our meet and greet, Peepers was too so I knew it would be a good fit. I will definitely look for Sierra’s availability next time I need to travel. Thanks!”

About: 🐾 I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and I started dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors when I was 10. When I got my own dog at 14, I fell in love with training and taught her over 20 tricks through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with both pets and owners, and I’ve been lucky to receive referrals from people who trust me with their dogs. I love making sure dogs are not just cared for, but genuinely happy and engaged. Whether that’s walks, playtime, enrichment games, training practice, or just giving them lots of attention and affection, I always try to match each dog’s personality and energy level. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I always want them to feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. I’m a college student currently on summer break, so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I truly look forward to every day. I’m also studying Animal Science, which has made me even more passionate about animal care and behavior. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and comfort levels, and I’ll treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I would my own.
“Shykala did a wonderful job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. She really took the time to bond with him and she provided detailed updates, including lots of photos. I'll definitely book with Shykala again in the future!”

About: I am a dedicated dog lover with hands-on experience caring for large breeds, especially strong, energetic pups like German Shepherds, Huskies, and other working breeds. I’m comfortable and confident handling dogs who need a calm, steady leader — including those who may be reactive to other dogs, people, or environmental triggers. I also have experience caring for dogs with special medical needs. I have experience applying ointments, eye drops, and administering pills and liquid medicines. I understand that cats have unique personalities and routines, and I’m comfortable with everything from feeding schedules and litter box care to administering medications and giving space to shy or independent cats. I provide calm, attentive care and make sure every pet feels safe, respected, and comfortable in their own home while you’re away. I like to be transparent when I take care of other peoples fur babies and will often share updates via text with added videos and photos of the time I spend with your pet, as well as time stamped detail of feeding, playtime, and potty updates. Pet care is a planned and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I organize my schedule to ensure I have dedicated time for walks, drop-ins, feeding, play, and companionship without feeling rushed. I build in flexibility to accommodate different pet needs, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when needed. Because I plan my time carefully, I’m able to be reliable, punctual, and fully present for every pet in my care. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. In my client’s home, I make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box care, and medications are handled exactly as instructed. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and any behavioral or medical needs. For dogs, I focus on safe, structured walks, positive reinforcement, and calm handling. For cats, I provide attentive care while respecting their boundaries, keeping their environment clean, and offering affection at their comfort level. I always prioritize safety, clear communication, and leave detailed updates so pet parents feel confident their pets are in good hands.

Krista is a genuinely cheerful person who truly loves animals, and it shows. She is incredibly professional and precise, following all my briefing instructions perfectly and managing a somewhat complex key-handover without any issues. Not only did she ensure that food, water, and the litter box were always perfectly clean, but she also spent time giving my cat long, fun play sessions. I felt completely at ease leaving my cat in her hands

Marit has been a regular sitter for our cat for about the past year and a half. Marit takes wonderful care of our girl, is super communicative and responsible, and takes the cutest photos to send to us. Most importantly, our cat adores her! I would highly recommend Marit to anyone interested in a sitter.

Marissa has been such a dream to work with. She’s professional and considerate. She takes care of our home like her own and it’s been a relief to have someone like her watching over our cats while we’re away. The cats love her and she’s been an absolute trooper giving our two cats with chronic conditions their various pills and eye drops. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

We had such an amazing experience with Gillian as always! She truly went above and beyond in every way. Not only was she incredibly communicative , kind, and attentive, but she also graciously helped us out with an extra day last minute, which took so much stress off our shoulders while traveling. We will absolutely book her again and recommend her to everyone we know. Our little kitten.

Annika made my first Rover experience so pleasant. She took so many photos and kept me updated with sweet notes on how my cat was doing. Annika fed my cat her oral medication with no issues. I was able to really relax during my vacation knowing Penny was in good hands. She went above and beyond to keep things neat and tidy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would love to rebook in the future. Thank you!!!

She did a wonderful job with my guinea pigs. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. I was nervous about leaving them for an extended period of time as they are older guineas pigs, but she did better than I could have expected. I would highly recommend

This was my first time using Rover. Sierra checked in on my two cats while I was out of town (twice daily). We had recently got the second cat and she was very helpful in continuing their integration while we were away and ensured they were properly fed and healthy. Will be booking again.

MIriam did an incredible job watching Taro while I was away. I was nervous because he get's quite anxious but she did so many things to keep him happy while I was gone - lots of cuddles, brushing, put on videos for him to watch, etc. She kept up with all the different instructions I left and I would 100% recommend booking her!
