I'm a theatre teacher dog and cat lover and when I have some extra time I'm delighted to spend it keeping your furry family member happy, safe, and loved while you're away! As an educator, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility to pet care. Whether it’s energetic walks, relaxing cuddle time, or sticking to special routines, I tailor each visit to your pet’s unique personality and needs. You can count on me for: 🎭 Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment 🐾 Drop-in visits 🦴 Feeding, meds, and updates with adorable photos 🏠 Respectful, tidy care of your home during visits I have a sweet rescue pit-pyrenees mix named Atlas. He can be a little wary of new dogs in his space at first, but he warms up after a few minutes and has a great time with playmates that come to stay for daycare. I will only care for one dog family in my home at a time (up to 2 dogs.) As a devoted dog parent, I know how important it is to trust someone with your family member(s), and I’d be honored to provide a reliable, loving presence while you’re away. I live in the bottom unit of a duplex home and have full access to a fully fenced in yard. My upstairs neighbor has a dog, but doesn't use the yard with his dog and exits through a separate entrance. I'm a gardener, so your dog will always be supervised while playing in the yard. We live near trails and a park, so there is plenty of opportunity for enrichment on walks as well. I allow my dog on the sofa, but if this is not a habit you want your dog to pick up, I will follow those instructions. I have past experience giving oral medication, caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs in recovery from an injury.

Sitter was great at first, but things changed fast, didn’t have issues until I checked my very public & visible cameras in my apartment that I use to watch my cats when they’re gone, and also there for security reasons.(Mind you these are big cameras & not hidden at all, and we did a walkthrough before to see if it was a fit, and she clearly saw them before hand) I found that she had unplugged my cameras with no notice, didn’t say anything about it until I had to bring it up, which you can imagine I found concerning when you have a stranger in your house for the first time for days & you have valuables in your house & the pets you care about. After she brought it up, and said she didn’t like that the cameras moving around (They’re motion sensed, so they move when there’s motion) I accommodated her & turned off the motion sensor to make her more comfortable, yet after that & her thanking me for doing that, again the next day I see my cameras are turned offline. Fast forward a week later, I get a email from rover that a complaint has been filed against me, and that I didn’t disclose the cameras, even though she clearly knew & saw where they were, and we had a discussion about them, yet proceeded to take action with my items without saying anything, extremely unprofessional; and it’s unfortunate because i was planning on using her again the following week. You’re there to feed cats & play with them, unless you are doing something you aren’t supposed to be doing, this should never be an issue.

Teresa had great communication, checked in prior to the visit making sure to clarify feeding instructions. The cats were clearly comfortable with her from the picture sent, she even cleaned up a mess my kitties left unintentionally. Great sitter, would have her back anytime.
Teresa rocks! She's so good with my difficult cat and communicative with me about everything that matters. She's clearly paying close attention and takes her care seriously. I really really recommend her and am so appreciative of the attentive care she gave my cat. Helped me stay worry free while I was gone for ten days!
It was our first time using Rover, and I'm glad we landed with Teresa. She was so sweet and good with our new puppy, Birdie, that it really took the stress out of being away from her for the first time.

Schedule
I have lots of availability from now through Labor Day! During the school year, I typically only accept dogs for daycare on weekends, or days off of school. As far as drop-ins or walks, I have much more availability and can take early morning, later afternoon or evening clients.
