Pet care experience

It’s a doggy-dog world 🐾

Hello! 🩷 My name is Ciboney (SEE-bō-nay) and I am excited to take care of you and your furry friends. I know that leaving your pet can bring a lot of anxiety, and I am here to assuage any worries while you're away. Pets are family, and I treat them as such! Let's find a time to meet and chat more about how we can make it the best experience possible for everyone 😊 I’m 24 years old and have absolutely loved being able to care for all the amazing animals I’ve been able to stumble upon through Rover! I have a whole arsenal of pet care experience; I’ve seen it all! From taking care of dogs, cats, birds, you can count on me to see to each of your pets’ needs. I also used to work as a CNA so any health-related concerns are no stranger to me. For example, I have cared for pets needing insulin injections, topical cancer treatments, seizure disorders, etc. I’ve given oral and injection medications for pets, and won’t back down from any health issues your pet may have. I have a special soft spot for senior pets, especially having worked and currently volunteering with senior humans, I find a lot of joy in being the caring and attentive presence in any senior’s life (furry or human!). When I own my first pet, I want to adopt a senior specifically and give them the love and care they deserve as much as any other furry friend. I believe pets are family and understand the importance of ensuring they receive the best care. My family has a 14 year old Maltese poodle named Izzy who brings so much joy to the household! Just so you know a little more about who your pet is hanging out with, here’s some more info about me! I'm very involved in my community, and I feel most fulfilled when I can make people’s lives easier. I volunteer every week with Help At Your Door, an organization dedicated to helping seniors live healthy and independent lives, by grocery shopping, delivering groceries, and offering free rides. I am committed to an active lifestyle, which has led me to a new passion of pilates! When I’m not doing those activities, you can find me reading a good book, trying out new restaurants in town (I’m a Yelp Elite member!), and thrifting, among many other things. Whether it's taking your dog for a walk, feeding your cat, or providing companionship, I’m here to help. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large, fenced backyard where your pet can explore and roam. My dog has trouble reaching higher surfaces like the couch so we have lots of accessibility accommodations if your pet needs that too! I can also provide daily exercise, as I love to stay active and know how important it is for pets to be active as well! I also want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible, and I know what means being in a familiar environment. When staying in clients’ home, I always make sure to treat your space with the same care as I do my own. Let me know if there are any boundaries or off limit spaces in your home, and I will respect your wishes.

Ciboney took excellent care of my senior cat — brushing her, providing her daily meds — and shared great updates during her visits! I highly recommend!

Ciboney was everything we needed for our Nova. The moment I met her, I knew she’d be a great fit. She had great communication, sent lots of pictures and made sure my pup felt loved while I was away. She is a rare jewel and I’ll definitely be using her again. Book her because she is ROVERS best ❤️

Ciboney did a great job checking in on Kylo while we were away. She let him out to potty, took him on a short walk, and made sure he was well cared for during her visit. She was reliable, communicative, and gave us peace of mind knowing Kylo was in good hands. We’d definitely book with her again!

Schedule

When I started Rover, I worked a remote job and got to have great flexibility for caring for furry friends! As of September 2026, I will be starting grad school, BUT I am still available and willing to hang out with your pets! My schedule is hybrid, so we can work around your needs. Just message me and we can discuss more! My dog was rescued when she was 2 and since she came from an abusive household, she had many quirks and takes a while to trust people. Because of this, I have had experience caring for a high maintenance dog; Izzy has no teeth and requires a special diet, had a regular schedule to go to the bathroom, anxious attachment, and has different joint issues that need tending to. I know how much patience and care is needed to create a trusting relationship with animals, and it’s my priority to be able to provide that for your pet!

I would love to schedule a time to be able to meet you and your furry friends! Please reach out to set up a date, that way I can learn more about your pet’s personality, temperament, preferences, and everything under the sun. I have regular questions I ask all of my clients, so please be prepared to answer the following: 1. What does their daily routine look like? 2. Do they cue to let you know they need to go out? 3. Where do they sleep? 4. Do they get a walk every day? 5. What commands do they know? 6. Where are cleaning supplies if they have an accident? 7. Do they get treats? 8. Any medical issues to know? 9. Emergency contacts? 10. Left alone for how long? 11. Vet information? 12. Anything they’re not allowed to do? 13. Anything that should be done for the home while you’re away? 14. Do you have any cameras in or around your property that I should be aware of? (Completely fine with me, just asking for transparency in regards to my own safety as well) 15. Anything else you need me to know? 16. Any questions for me?
