Hello! 🩷 My name is Ciboney (SEE-bō-nay) and I am excited to take care of you and your furry friends. I’m 23 years old and have absolutely loved being able to care for all the amazing animals I’ve been able to stumble upon through Rover! I believe pets are family and understand the importance of ensuring they receive the best care. I have a 13 year old Maltese poodle named Izzy who brings so much joy to the household! I currently live with my parents, who love animals, so there will be extra eyes and extra love in my house! Throughout college, I was known as the responsible, “mom” friend and was trusted by many of my friends and their friends to watch over their pets. I have a whole arsenal of pet care experience; I’ve seen it all! From taking care of dogs, cats, birds, you can count on me to see to each of your pets’ needs. I also used to work as a CNA so any health-related concerns are no stranger to me. I’ve given oral and injection medications for pets, and won’t back down from any health issues your pet may have. I have a special soft spot for senior pets, especially having worked and currently volunteering with senior humans, I find a lot of joy in being the caring and attentive presence in any senior’s life (furry or human!). When I own my first pet, I want to adopt a senior specifically and give them the love and care they deserve as much as any other furry friend. Just so you know a little more about who your pet is hanging out with, here’s some more info about me! I'm very involved in my community, and I feel most fulfilled when I can make people’s lives easier. I volunteer every week with Help At Your Door, an organization dedicated to helping seniors live healthy and independent lives, by grocery shopping, delivering groceries, and offering free rides. I am committed to an active lifestyle, which has led me to a new passion of pilates! When I’m not doing those activities, you can find me reading a good book, trying out new restaurants in town (I’m a Yelp Elite member!), and thrifting, among many other things. Whether it's taking your dog for a walk, feeding your cat, or providing companionship, I’m here to help. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fenced backyard where your pet can explore and roam. My dog has trouble reaching higher surfaces like the couch so we have lots of accessibility accommodations if your pet needs that too! I can also provide daily exercise, as I love to stay active and know how important it is for pets to be active as well! I also want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible, and I know what means being in a familiar environment. When staying in clients’ home, I always make sure to treat your space with the same care as I do my own. Let me know if there are any boundaries or off limit spaces in your home, and I will respect your wishes.

Ciboney was amazing with my two dogs - one of them has some behavioral issues and she handled it like a champ. She even managed to bond with my standoffish cattle dog as well! He loves her. Communication was clear and consistent, and it was the first time in a while I felt at ease while leaving my dogs on a trip. Will definitely rebook!
This was our second booking with Ciboney. We will definitely keep her at the top of our list, for our future travels.
Ciboney did a great job taking care of our not so friendly feline and our very friendly Australian shepherd. She did a wonderful job keeping us in the loop about what was happening on the home front with pictures and updates. We have already booked her for our next trip.
Amazing sitter! Kept in great contact and it was apparent, when we got home, our dog had a blast as well!

Ciboney is such a wonderful pet sitter. My little dog Lucy just adores her and my cat Millie (who doesn't like a lot of people) loves her as well.

Schedule
I currently have a remote job! I am super flexible with my schedule and can be available to care for your furry friend all day! My dog was rescued when she was 2 and since she came from an abusive household, she had many quirks and takes a while to trust people. Because of this, I have had experience caring for a high maintenance dog; Izzy has no teeth and requires a special diet, had a regular schedule to go to the bathroom, anxious attachment, and has different joint issues that need tending to. I know how much patience and care is needed to create a trusting relationship with animals, and it’s my priority to be able to provide that for your pet!
