About: I grew up with multiple dogs. I work with livestock and have trained dogs to behave well on a farm. Very fond of working and being with animals at all times of my day. If you are getting out of town for the weekend or need someone to drop by to help feed and exercise with your pet I would be a great fit. I live with my partner Andy and we can offer full care to your dog(s) or cat(s) and we truly love being around animals. We both grew up with dogs and we also have two cats of our own. We would treat your pets like our own.
“Eddie is amazing with communication, and I always feel secure having him drop by on my pup while I am gone! It truly takes the weight off my shoulders. He’s very responsible and super responsive 10/10 recommend!”

“Scott was a fantastic sitter for my cat, especially since it was a last-minute booking. Communicative, accommodating, and made sure Nova was happy and healthy the whole week!”

About: I have had dogs all my life; as a child they brought me joy and as an adult they bring me comfort. Right now, my career choice isn’t conducive for me to have my Chow Chow, Bundy. I don’t want to be an absentee dog mom, but if you know anything about Chow Chows, you’d understand that Grandma and Grandpa’s lifestyle is much more suited to his needs and temperament. That said, there is a hole in my heart that chasing dogs at a dog park doesn’t fill, because yes, I do that on occasion. Interacting with dogs can change the chemistry of the human brain, my experience confirms this. I’m open to working with difficult breeds, Bundy and I did extensive training with an aggressive breed specialist. I’m not saying I’m experienced, I’m saying I understand the nuances of “aggressive breeds” and how to interact with them, as well as, the stress that comes with owning one. I have a flexible career where I am able to go on walks or drop-in, notice is helpful. I can’t always drop what I’m doing, but I can make your dog a priority. My goal for your dog is stability and continuity of care, while respecting your dog’s boundaries. With my experience, I may be in charge, but I respect that a dog may not want me to put my hands close to their face or maybe they don’t even want to be touched. If you have detailed instructions on how you care for your dog and how they like to be cared for, great. If not, I can read the room.
“Anne gave us detailed Check ins everyday that we were away. She played with our cat, kept his habits going and made sure he stayed comfortable. When we got back, he looked as happy as ever and he's now requesting more brushing time as it's what he's gotten everyday for the past week!”

“Katie was wonderful! She provided timely updates and great photos of our cats. We looked forward to hearing about her updates and she was incredibly thoughtful when we chatted about visiting our house to take care of our pets. Katie, next time we go on vacation we'll look for you!”

“Aimee was great with my dogs! She showed up right on time, handled them confidently, and they warmed right up to her (treats definitely helped). This was just a prep visit for a longer stay, and I feel really good knowing they’ll be in her hands.”

About: Hi, I'm Theo! I'm an artist and animal lover. I've owned dogs my whole life, I've been a pet sitter for 8 years, I've been a dog walker for 3 years, and I currently own a cat with a chronic illness. I'm a reliable dog sitter and dog walker and I can provide references if you would like. I can't wait to meet you and your dog(s)! I'm a recent college grad with quite a bit of time on my hands! I love taking walks around the neighborhood and seeing everyone's pets or just taking my cat out for some nice outside stimulation! I'm not afraid of double checking with you for any clarification! I want to make sure both you and your furry friend are happy and content. (I'm also not afraid to go to the vet if need be)
“Andrew came through with almost no notice and showed up promptly—total lifesaver. He was kind, calm, and instantly won over Princess Leia 🐾 (she says he’s welcome back anytime to play). Highly recommend!”

“Jessica did a great job with drop in visits to check on my cat. She was amazing with communication and reliable. I would recommend her and I would re-book her again!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my cat in Samantha’s care. She went above and beyond in making sure he was cared for and even entertained with top notch playtime during her visits!”

About: I’ve had experience taking care of dogs since the age of 15 and absolutely love it! I am now currently working at Dogtopia of St.Paul and a canine trainer/ playroom attendant, where I have picked up many new skills! I have been described as friendly, reliable, and hardworking - which will stay true in my care for your pet! I currently work part-time at Dogtopia and take all of my university classes online. My schedule allows me to spend quality time with your pet on the weekends and some weekdays between shifts and classes. I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any house rules. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, playtime, and bathroom breaks, and I keep their environment clean and secure. I also send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to make pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away.

About: Experienced, Thoughtful Care for Dogs of All Sizes With 15+ years of experience caring for dogs and two lovable and furry 85 pound dogs of my own, I’m very comfortable with all from active large breed to gentle senior companions. I’ve also spent years caring for small dogs (including pups around 10 pounds), so I’m used to adjusting walks, playtime, and care to fit each dog’s size, personality, and pace. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality, whether they’re the adventurous “let’s walk forever” type, the neighborhood squirrel patrol officer, or the happy couch companion who prefers a slower stroll and extra belly rubs. I take pet care seriously and prioritize routine, safety, and consistency. I always double check collars and harnesses before walks, follow feeding schedules carefully, and make sure each dog feels comfortable and secure in their environment. My goal is to keep your dog’s day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet owners, so I’m happy to provide photo and message updates during walks or visits so you know your dog is happy and well cared for. Services I Offer • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • Overnight pet sitting • Feeding and medication administration if needed • Playtime, enrichment, and lots of affection I treat every dog I care for as if they were part of my own family. Trust is incredibly important when it comes to your pets, and I’d love the chance to meet you and your dog to make sure it’s the right fit. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I currently care for two large dogs of my own, so regular walks, feeding schedules, and outdoor time are built into my day. Because of that, adding walks or visits for other dogs fits seamlessly into my schedule. As a student, my schedule varies slightly week to week, but it also provides flexibility that allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits depending on what works best for each dog’s routine. I’m very intentional about planning my day so that pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care. I understand how important routine and reliability are for both dogs and their owners, so I always make sure feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions are followed closely. My goal is to provide dependable care that keeps your dog comfortable and happy while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. Dogs tend to feel most relaxed in their own environment, so I make sure to follow their normal schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level whether they prefer an active walk, playtime, or a slower pace with plenty of affection. I always make sure fresh water is available, feeding instructions are followed carefully, and collars or harnesses are secure before walks. I also understand how important trust is when someone is entering your home to care for your pet. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners know their dog is happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.
“Tanya was awesome! She came to meet us before our scheduled drop in to make sure it was a good fit and she had all the details to take care of our dog. The visits were great- lots of photos and Stevie was very happy when I came home. I will definitely book her again next time we need a drop in.”

Downtown East pet parents share their Rover experiences
Annika did a wonderful job with our three cats! She is very caring and understanding, very accommodating, very responsible and receptive to our cats needs. She went above and beyond! I would absolutely recommend Annika and if I ever needed Services again I would definitely contact Annika hands down! Thank you Annika!!!!
Anne took care of our cats on very short notice. She did a great job with the cats, and other house-related tasks (bringing in mail and packages, rolling trash cans out to the curb, etc.) We will definitely be using Anne again to watch the cats next time we're out of town.

Teresa did a great job taking care of my cat while I was on vacation! Mabel can be a bit of a challenge as she requires daily eyedrops, which she does not enjoy. Teresa was persistent and willing to try different things to make it work. I really appreciated it!

Natalie asked me if it was Ok to bring some of her family with her to check on our pets. The more the merrier, my pets Loved the extra attention!! Natalie is very reliable and responsive and she leaves great photos and notes to reassure me that our pets are doing well while we’re gone. I can’t recommend her enough, Thank you Natalie!

Darwin did an amazing job with Gimpy and ensure that she was well taken care of. She’s a pretty shy cat and was able to warm up to him in the short time I was gone. He took a good amount of pictures and made sure the apartment appeared in order (in addition to what I had requested). Would 10/10 recommend!
