About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my lifelong love and experience with animals—I grew up with pets of my own and truly understand the care and attention they need. As a dog lover at heart, I treat every pet like family. My passion for the outdoors means your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air and long, enriching walks. I also have a special place in my heart for relaxed, elderly pets and am more than happy to provide the gentle care, patience, and extra snuggles they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I am currently a Physician Assistant student looking for a little extra cash before starting my full time job. I have a wide array of availability and will work with your schedule. I will foster a safe environment for your loved ones, making sure that all their needs are met! I am trustworthy and will put you and your animals best interest at heart.
“Ava was really amazing. She was very professional, and above all she was very thoughtful, kind and caring with our senior with special needs dog. She met with us prior to our scheduled drop ins so she was familiar with Cole’s needs and routines. She was an exceptional communicator, sending pictures and updating us with how things were going, and very understanding with our shy senior dog. We would highly recommend her and definitely look forward to using her again!”

“Ashley was very accommodating was able to book last minute and squeeze me in and still meet my kiddos needs. Communicative and fast response to any questions or concerns I had. Thanks”

“Our dog LOVES Sydney. She’s the best. Was very responsible with our golden doodle Olive. Would 100% rebook with her. Super reliable and responsive too!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been a dedicated dog owner for over 8 years. For the past 3 years, I’ve also fostered pups, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments and styles. I’m comfortable with everything from high energy personalities to shy or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs (my last pup was 18!), puppies and everything in between. At this time, I’m focusing on small and medium sized dogs so they will be the best match for my own dog and I can provide the best care possible. I work full time from home and am available to board in my house anytime for most lengths of time. Lots of time to play with your pup! Right now, I’m open to hosting small and medium pups—as they are the best matches for my own dog. My dog, Elliot, loves to go for walks (weather permitting) and we’d love for your pup to tag along! If the weather is bad, my yard is perfect for zoomies, ball/toy chasing, neighbor watching and basking in the sun. I have my own small pup who is energetic and loves to play, but isn’t pushy. I work from home so we are together all the time! We walk often—in the morning, at lunch and in evenings. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks with lots of toys and enrichment. I am home most of the time, but would contain (kennel or pen if needed) when I leave and I’m also open to pups that aren’t kenneled but safe to leave out (I’d put away my own dog).
About: I have had my boys for 8 years now. I was a foster and a volunteer for a dog rescue when I lived in Okinawa. I am currently taking a break from working full-time and would like to fill my free time with pets. This unique schedule lets me visit at anytime of day! I’m great at following directions! Does your pet have a super weird routine? I’d love to see it! I’m also quite familiar with standoffish pets and will act accordingly.
“Rob was great! We needed to book him last minute for a weekend out of town and he was super quick to jump in and his reports were thorough! He gave great updates on the cats :)”

About: I've always been a pet lover. Did pet sitting as a pre-teen and teenager. I had a soul cat for 15 years and a soul dog for 13 years. I have 2 grand-pups who I often dog sit or just take for a day adventure. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, fish, you name it. I pass you and your animal on the street don't be offended by me going straight to them first! Animals (all animals) seem to love me back too which I LOVE! I'm currently not working or occasionally working remote contract jobs so I have plenty of time to spend spoiling your furr baby! And spoil them I will!!!! I have a condo in Minneapolis near the Sculpture Garden and Loring park. I am on the first floor with a patio and yard so plenty of space to do their business or to take a great walk. My building is small and very pet friendly. I'm also comfortable traveling out to your home since I'm central to the area.
“I'm so glad that I found Tanya on Rover. Her gentle and truly caring spirit toward my cat, Rune, was deeply reassuring while I was away on a trip for a few days. Tanya was genuine, warm, and consistently communicative from the moment I booked her. The photos she sent during each of her daily visits also let me know just how much Rune was enjoying her company :) I feel very grateful, and will definitely reach out again. Thank you so much, Tanya!”

“Thank you to Andy for babysitting my cats over a holiday weekend! She was amazing and went way above and beyond and was extremely kind, considerate, and compassionate when my senior pet had an embarrassing accident and was difficult. Thank you Andy!! ❤️”

“Darwin was extremely responsive and did a great job checking in on my cats while I was on vacation. He gave me peace of mind to relax and know that my cats would be well loved and looked after. Thanks Darwin!”

“Ryan was awesome caring for my pups. One is a baby and the other is just a year. He is a great communicator and asked such good questions so that I felt confident leaving my furkids in his care!! My pups were very calm and happy when I arrived home!! I look forward to having Ryan care for Libby and Roux going forward. Thanks Ryan…”

“Jessica was great! Very friendly, communicative and made sure I received complete updates about my cats. I could tell they were cared for properly and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Andrew is our go-to sitter! He is consistent, communicates well, and always prioritizes hanging out with our cat. Highly recommend, and will continue to use him!”

“Nicole took excellent care of my cat, kept me updated every step of the way, and really went above and beyond in looking after him. She is clearly incredibly passionate about your pets and shows that she cares about their health and well-being.”

“Renee is such a lifesaver! She has helped us out when we have been in a crunch and has been extremely reliable! We and our puppy love her! She has been an amazing caregiver for our dog! I would totally recommend her and so grateful we get to keep her on board for regular puppy sitting!”
About: I have experience taking care of cats and dogs for family and friends for over 10 years. Growing up my family always had cats and dogs. I currently have 2 cats of my own, Kenobi and Barbie. They are the lights of my life, just like your pets are yours! Just like people, ko two pets are exactly alike. They have their own unique needs and preferences. My goal is to understand and respect what makes your pet special and give them the best care that I can. This includes play, pets, grooming, and cleaning up their messes. I currently have limited availability during the week due to my job. However, I have wide weekend availability and will be more open in the summer. My goal is to understand and respect what makes your pet special. No two animals are the same and have different needs. I strive to give them the best care I can, including play, pets, grooming, and cleaning up their messes.
“Juliana was great! I was nervous about leaving my 5-month old kitten, but she and my other cat were happy and healthy when I returned. Juliana was also very accommodating with getting my apartment key back when my return time was delayed, which was appreciated. I would absolutely rebook. Thank you!”

Lauren was absolutely fantastic!! I couldn’t have picked a better sitter to make my cat feel comfortable and happy! Lauren went above and beyond with photos throughout every visit and A+ communication. She followed all directions as well as administered meds flawlessly. Thank you, Lauren! - Spice

This was our first time leaving our kitties in the care of someone other than ourselves. We lucked out with Darwin. He was attentive to Dolly and Reba, communicative with us on a daily basis (sending photos and updates), professional, punctual, personable, and just as important, knowledgable about feline care and emergency resources. We felt confident entrusting him with our sweeties, and will continue to call on him for pet-sitting services in the future. Norma Schuh, Minneapolis.
Hannah is a wonderful pet sitter! She is incredibly patient with our senior cats, who can range from friendly to skeptical to downright mean. Our grumpy old man cat requires medication, and she has been incredible in working with us to acclimate him to a new person so he can be monitored and medicated while we are gone. We so appreciate your time and patience with our pets!
Reagan has been wonderful both times she has watched our dogs. One of my dogs is a rescue, and she doesn't like many people. She loved Reagan immediately. She has been friendly, flexible, reliable, and trustworthy. I would highly recommend her to any pet owner looking for a loving care taker for their dog. Thank you, Reagan!
