Even though my job comes with an unusual and ever-changing schedule, pet care is always a top priority in my life. Flexibility is part of my lifestyle, and it allows me to show up for your pets when you need me most! I care for my own dog with daily walks, lots of playtime, and all the cuddles he could ever want—he’s truly part of the family! That same level of love and attention is what I bring to every pet I care for. And while my dog is friendly and well-socialized, I completely understand that every pet has different comfort levels. If your pet needs space or a more private experience, I can easily keep them separated to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and right at home!

About: I have always been a huge animal lover — as a little kid, instead of checking out picture books or DVDs at the library, I’d always want to bring home the encyclopedia of dog breeds. I also would BEG my parents to let me use our family computer to browse the AKC website. Now, my husband and I have our own fur kids — loveable, friend-to-everyone boxer mix Rory, and wily, sweet cat Goose. We both absolutely love animals but can’t have any more in our home right now, which is where Rover comes in. Both my husband and I have experience with senior dogs and puppies with special needs, including sticking to a medication schedule and a customized potty schedule. Since I work from home a majority of the time, we can accommodate daytime walks/playtime and TONS of attention/enriching activities. Lastly, as a former nanny, I know the importance of providing frequent updates/photos/communication — I always want you to know that your pup is doing well and in great hands while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet you!! I’m currently working from home 4 days out of 5, so I have tons of flexibility to do daytime walks, playtime/meals/medication, etc. If we do have to be out of the home, we make sure to crate everyone so all pets have their own space, and for everyone’s peace of mind. I have a friendly, sweet 5 year-old boxer named Rory who would love to play with your dog if you’re comfortable— otherwise, she’ll stay at home and your pup will get all of our attention. 🥰

About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of various dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog, and now have taken care of numerous dogs in the year I’ve been on Rover. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings? Last minute? No problem. I think of pets as family, and will treat your pet like my family. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!) As a horseback rider, I find the skills of working with our animal friends transfer easily. Regardless of species, they enjoy human attention/affection, engagement and are often much smarter than we give them credit for.

I love to go for walks and can be available anytime for your little animals :) I used to be an au pair for a couple years, taking care of a small boy of a single mom at their home, so I’m very good at assimilating into other’s spaces and helping however it’s needed!

About: I have had my own dog since I was 4. I also have been a dog sitter for many of my neighbors for years. I have experience with frequent visits during the day and overnight sitting. I’ve also had experience with special conditions such as giving medication and caring for pets who are ill. For example, my dog needs ear drops and allergy medication, so I have experience with those types of medication specifically. I also have experience cat sitting and caring for other pets, like small rodents or snakes. Currently I am working full time, hybrid, with two days in the office. I’m available for visits during the mornings and afternoons/nights during the week or weekend. I will be more available during the holiday season as well and can sit for an extended period of time if you are on vacation. I have a cat at home so I cannot provide home services, but I am available for house sitting! I have done many extended stays and have the luxury of working from home, so if your pet needs to stick to their schedule, I can be there.
