“Maddy was super kind and communicative. She treated our dogs so well and made our day away from the house so easy and not stressful! Definitely glad to know she’s here if we need her in the future!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Krista exceeded all of our expectations with her care of our 2 cats. She followed all of our care instructions, gave frequent and thorough updates, and made us feel confident that our cats were safe. We would absolutely work with Krista again for future trips!”

“Kaitlyn is hands down the best! We were gone for a week on a trip and booked with Kaitlyn to drop by twice a day to feed our cats. She was very accommodating and took great care of our cats! Out cats might think she is their new owner now because she was so good to them haha. We will only book with Kaitlyn, she is awesome!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been a dedicated dog owner for over 8 years. For the past 3 years, I’ve also fostered pups, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments and styles. I’m comfortable with everything from high energy personalities to shy or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs (my last pup was 18!), puppies and everything in between. At this time, I’m focusing on small and medium sized dogs so they will be the best match for my own dogs and I can provide the best care possible. I work full time from home and am available to board in my house anytime for most lengths of time. Lots of time to play with your pup! Right now, I’m open to hosting small and medium pups—as they are the best matches for my own dogs. One of my little ones loves to go for walks (weather permitting) and we’d love for your pup to tag along! If the weather is bad, my yard is perfect for zoomies, ball/toy chasing, neighbor watching and basking in the sun. I have 2 of my own small pups (one that is a couch potato and the other loves to play, but isn’t pushy) and work from home so we are together all the time! We walk often—in the morning, at lunch and in evenings. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks with lots of toys and enrichment. I am home most of the time, but would contain (kennel or pen if needed) when I leave and I’m also open to pups that aren’t kenneled but safe to leave out (I’d put away my own dogs).
“Anne always does such a wonderful job checking in on our cat, Piper. Anne is professional, friendly, and great with communication. She’s provides excellent service and is such a reliable person. We love her.”

“Andrew came through with almost no notice and showed up promptly—total lifesaver. He was kind, calm, and instantly won over Princess Leia 🐾 (she says he’s welcome back anytime to play). Highly recommend!”

About: When I was a child, I begged my parents for a dog. Instead of giving into my pleading, my genius mother encouraged me to get to know the dogs in my neighborhood in order to learn more about the responsibility of caring for one. As it turned out, one of our neighbors needed someone to look in on their dog in the afternoons. For the next five years, my sister and I would check in on our neighbor's dog, Lambeau, taking him on walks and playing with him after school. This experience was an invaluable learning opportunity in dog behavior, responsibility, and patience. My mother was a big fan as well, watching us develop the patience and discipline needed for dog care overtime, before adopting one of our own. And that was just the beginning. Soon after we met Lambeau, my sister and I became the local pet sitters in town, expanding our services to cat sitting and dog boarding. All of this practice finally led to adopting our own family dog, Benny. Benny was a beautiful golden doodle, full of energy, love and a healthy dose of mischief. He also had special needs, requiring several medications, strict diets, and even subcutaneous fluid injections for a short time. Because of his intense care regimen, our whole family needed to learn how to properly administer his treatments on a consistent schedule. Many nights with Benny were spent waking up every couple of hours for medication or going potty, and many meals took longer to prepare and coax him into eating. In the end, however, I am so grateful to him for teaching me that every dog is different, and that true care is about having the patience to get to know each dog's unique needs and personality. My schedule fluctuates week to week, but I am typically available 3-4 days per week (including weekends), so I am a good fit for those with a flexible or varying work schedule. If you need someone to care for your pup while you're out on date night, running errands, or just need some time alone, I am the sitter for you! To keep your dogs and others safe, I always walk them on leash and in dog-friendly areas. If your dog needs off-leash time, I will happily take them to a dog park or another enclosed outdoor space. I also keep plenty of poop bags, treats (unless specifically not requested), and an extra leash with me at all times. My building does not allow dogs, so I am not available for boarding, but happy to come to you for an overnight stay or check in.
“Darwin did a wonderful job with our 2 cats. They are so quick to respond to texts and always sent a descriptive note about how each visit went. Our cats were happy and relaxed when we arrived home again.”

“Our dog LOVES Sydney. She’s the best. Was very responsible with our golden doodle Olive. Would 100% rebook with her. Super reliable and responsive too!”

“Sarah took care of our cats, and I’ve came back to a clean fresh litter. She even clean some of the cats poop outside of the litter and feed/refill water. Definitely recommend her services. Thank you!”

About: Hi there! My name is Lauren and I love all fur babies big and small! I have been an animal lover all my life and enjoy spending time with them as much as I can. Ever since I was a young teen, I have been an avid dog walker in my neighborhood, trying to make some extra cash but also getting to spend time with dogs as I did not have my own. Since then, I have been cat sitting for the last 5 years for my family and friends when they go out of town. In most recent years, I have been dog sitting for my coworkers on the weekends. Many of my coworkers have dogs and bring them to our pet friendly office. I have become quite popular with the dogs at the office as I love to take them out and play fetch in the grass space outside. I work Monday - Thursday until 4:30 pm but I am home by 5 pm. Fridays, I am available after 12 pm. I also have open availability on the weekends. I have 2 cats of my own who enjoy their own company, but I am very happy to pet sit in your own home if you are comfortable! I will guarantee that your pet is safe when outdoors whether that be on a leash or within the safety of a fenced yard.
“Annalise was awesome and went over and above caring for our cat Daisy. She sent us updates, kept everything tidy. We knew Daisy was happy while we were gone! Annalise will be our go to cat sitter from now on.”

“Shykala did a wonderful job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. She really took the time to bond with him and she provided detailed updates, including lots of photos. I'll definitely book with Shykala again in the future!”

About: I've been around dogs since I was ten. Dogs bring so much energy and joy into chaotic day to day life. You can't help but feel happy when around a dog when they're so excited to see you! I believe they deserve to get back all the love they give through quality play, pets/snuggles and exercise. I work as a nurse and am unavailable on days I work due to long hours, but I am available for longer periods of time on my days off. I care for my cat by giving him as much play as he wants. Sticking to a routine feeding schedule with regular treats :). I clip his nails every one to two weeks, and clean his liter box everyday/every other day. I monitor his output, energy, and moods.
“Amber is AMAZING! Our puppy Reya enjoys every minute with Amber. And...we get THE BEST pictures after her visits! Thank you for spending time with our little lady when we cannot!”

“Melissa was professional, caring, and always provided updates throughout the day. It put my mind at ease while out of town to know that she was keeping an eye on my pets.”

Bryn Mawr pet parents share their Rover experiences
She did an amazing job watching my dog! From the moment we connected, I felt completely at ease leaving my pet in her care. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I received updates and could tell my dog was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

This was the first time my husband and I used Rover and we lucked out finding Annalise! From the Meet & Greet, she was so helpful orienting us to the Rover app and she is incredibly knowledgable about dog behaviors and safety. She is so so thoughtful and loving with our pup- giving him so much love, snuggles, and time to play and be himself. She even gave him an ear, neck, and shoulder massage during one of the drop ins and let him choose his favorite snack from her box of snacks she keeps in her car for all the pups she cares for. Her communication is top tier and she is so diligent with her Rover notes. We could not be more grateful to know our pup is being cared for by someone so considerate, responsible, and caring!

This was our first time using Olivia. She took care of our two cats with drop in visits twice a day for 9 days. She did a great job. The boys were well looked after. She communicated well, sent multiple pictures each visit and went above and beyond cleaning up a few messes.

Addison was absolutely amazing with Phoebe. She was very thorough in her daily updates and always provided lots of pictures. I have a more anxious cat around people and she was very good at respecting her boundaries and listening to her cues. I would definitely recommend Addison to anyone looking for someone to watch their pets while they are away :)
