“Paige was so sweet with our cats! She was patient and knew how to read their body language. She took the extra time to give them treats and pets and was very thorough. She provided detailed updates and pictures from her visits which were so fun to see while we were gone. Would definitely recommend!”

“Amy is truly a dog whisperer! My very barky and unsure husky mix warmed up to her within a few minutes and has been great for all the visits. Our other dog, a little beagle, has been a cuddle machine with her. I would recommend Amy with 10 stars if I could. We are definitely having her back!”

“This is the third time I’ve booked Teresa, and she continues to be fantastic. She’s great with the cats, always provides regular updates (which I really appreciate!), and even managed to get my sassiest cat to cave and warm up to her. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“This is my first time using Rover, I usually have friends or family watch my cats so I was extremely worried about having a stranger watch them. Anne from the start was so kind and reassuring. She was super communicative and her report cards were so nice to read everyday while I was gone. She made sure my cats were well taken care of and entertained. I could tell she really cared about them. She picked up my mail for me and even stayed longer than the appointed time to make sure my cats were okay. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Samantha did a fantastic job with our pets! We could tell from the pictures that they were ecstatic to see her. She was very communicative, and went above and beyond.”

“James was amazing and provided cute photo updates as well as additional info during his stay. This was our first time user Rover and we’re so glad we did!! Our pup had a blast with James💛”

“Andrew was extremely communicative, very attentive to our cat Niles’ needs, he took a lot of pictures of our kitty to reassure us, and went above and beyond taking care of our cat. Book him!”

“Wonderful!! Thank you so much Juliana! You gave our puppies a much needed break and on top of it, you came with such short notice on Thanksgiving Day! You’re awesome!! Mike and Claudia Wondra”

About: My family has had dogs since I was born. While we mostly had 50-60lb labs as our furry family member, friends and extended family have given me exposure to dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and training! Walking, brushing, playing, petting, and feeding were everyday occurrences my whole life. And while I don’t train dogs, I can reinforce any training they already have, so your canine companion won’t lose their touch while you’re away! I can also administer topical and oral medications, be they routine preventative care, antibiotics, or long-term prescriptions. So if your loved one is on a health regimen, rest assured that they will be well cared for. In addition to that, I have a good repertoire with Banfield Pet Hospital and their 24/7 live chat service, so if anything comes up, veterinary advice can be sought at any time! In addition to dogs, I also have some experience caring for small animals. Fish, birds, bugs and small mammals are all in my wheelhouse! I know that just because your loved one lives in an enclosure, doesn’t mean they don’t need just as much care as our free-roaming friends. Feeding time, enclosure cleaning, temperature and humidity adjustments, and enrichment are all activities I can perform, as long as instructions for your specific pet are included. I work part-time in food service 3-4 days a week. Shifts can be anywhere from 4-7 hours. If you need a long-term sitter, I can care for most animals during these days. However, my shifts may be a bit too long for a dog to go without a walk. If care is scheduled far enough ahead of time, I can make sure to clear my calendar so your pup doesn’t go unattended for those kinds of hours. I will care for your pet in your home so they are in a familiar environment and won’t upset the cats I have at my apartment. I will walk dogs around your neighborhood—and if they’re comfortable with car rides and good with other dogs, we can even go to a dog park! Feeding time and house rules will be enforced as they are laid out for me, and I can stay overnight if you don’t want your doggo to be alone (I will commute between your place and mine in the morning and evenings to feed my cats and get some play time in with them. Depending on the mileage, I may ask for compensation for gas). I largely believe in pet-led interaction and enrichment. Animals have boundaries like us, and respecting those boundaries is the best way to earn their trust. I don’t cajole pets into playtime or pet them when they’re clearly enjoying their alone time. But if they invite me to play with them or cuddle, I happily oblige! It’s somewhat of an honor to have a pet actively want to engage, and I take on the opportunity gratefully.
“Shykala did a wonderful job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. She really took the time to bond with him and she provided detailed updates, including lots of photos. I'll definitely book with Shykala again in the future!”

“Katie was wonderful! She provided timely updates and great photos of our cats. We looked forward to hearing about her updates and she was incredibly thoughtful when we chatted about visiting our house to take care of our pets. Katie, next time we go on vacation we'll look for you!”

“Dawn was so wonderful caring for Penny for a second time. She was more than willing to be flexible to help with some additional medication and that made a world of difference in my peace of mind while I was away.”

“Emmerson did a great job with my big Belgian Malinois puppy who can be a lot to handle! He was very tidy and consistently sent updates and was always available to talk to.”

“Emily was great with our cat, we really appreciated all her updates. She also watered plants for us, which surely kept them alive while we were away. 10/10 would book again.”

“Sydney took great care of my three cats while I was away, and I was so appreciative of all the detailed updates and photos each visit. She even gave updates on what kind of food my cats seemed more interested in that day (note to self: they are out of their beef pate phase!). I highly recommend Sydney for cat sitting and will book again! She went above and beyond to make sure all of their needs were met, including playing with them and making sure they were comfortable while I was gone. My babies were happy and healthy when I returned. It was such a relief knowing my cats were in safe hands, and I truly appreciated Sydney!”

“Grace was amazing! She is a natural. My dog doesn’t just like anyone, but she felt comfortable around Grace right away. She was flexible and willing to help accommodate a last minute request, as a dog owner is truly appreciated!”
