If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

A typical day
I'll give them as much pets, cuddles, and love as they desire! Definitely a lot of playtime with their favorite toys, and nice long walks (for pets that can) around the neighborhood and to some of the local dog parks if they get along well with other dogs. Also willing to bathe pets if requested!

Pet care experience
I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity.

Scott did a wonderful job checking in on my cat while I was out of town. Their communication was great and I appreciated the updates after each visit. My cat can be feisty when people who are not me enter our home, but Scott just went with it and I feel handled it great. I would definitely recommend and book with Scott again!
Scott was super attentive, they always made sure Ada got some play time along with essentials like food and the litterbox and sent us lots of cute pictures. We'll be hiring them again soon to watch Ada on our next trip!
