We did a meet-up a few days before scheduling to confirm it was a good match. It definitely was! She asked us many questions and also let us ask questions about everything, which made us feel more at ease. Throughout the stay, Emily kept us updated on how our puppy was eating and how he was getting along with her own dogs. She also asked us during the stay if it was okay to bring him to certain places, and that was great! Let’s just say our little pup is going to miss the new best friends he made until next time. We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.

About: My beloved rescue pup has just turned sweet 16 in January 2026, and we have been together for a decade. Prior experience includes dog sitting for 9 years for doodles and various breeds. My dog loves relaxing days with new friends. Pet care is my daily routine because my dog is the most important part of my life. I am available every day because I work and play from home. About: I have had dogs in my family my whole life. I have cared for my family dog throughout its senior years. I now have a toy poodle of my own who I cared for during her recovery from a broken leg. She is now a happy and healthy pup who loves to run and play, so high energy dogs are no stranger to me. I am always drawn to dogs everywhere I go but it seems dogs tend to be drawn to me as well always wanting to say hello! I work full time from home with occasional in-office days in downtown Minneapolis. In-office days are sporadic so I may be unavailable some days. Otherwise, I can work from anywhere so I am very flexible. Pet’s safety and comfort is always my number one priority. I am cautious and aware when opening doors that pets could slip out of. When out in public I am always aware of other animals nearby as you cannot always guarantee every pet owner is responsible to keep their pet leashed. I am aware of foods that are toxic to pets and refrain from feeding pets “people” food. Additionally I keep all plants and other toxic items out of reach of pets.

I attended summer camps through the Humane Society and the Minnesota Zoo, where I learned more about animal behavior, care, and enrichment from an early age. About: Experience with dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting. I've provided pet/house care for families who have taken extended vacations (2-5 weeks). Love to be active and play with animals! About: I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me. I work from home and attend university online so I am home 24/7. Unless it's an emergency, I will be with your dog ALL the time I'm with them. I love and follow instructions very well and in detail pertaining to the dogs' specific care given to me. I ALWAYS send daily photos and messages with updates about the dogs.

“Our dogs had the best time staying with Aastha and Daniel! We received multiple photos and updates daily and I was totally at ease knowing they were getting plenty of exercise and attention. My dogs have never been exposed to cats so I wasn't sure how boarding them in a home with cats would go. But their home was so well equipped to keep the cats separated. They have a big beautiful sun room in the back of their home that can be closed off as well as a lower level that can be closed off. They also have a large fenced in backyard where my pups thoroughly enjoyed playing fetch during Daniel and Aastha's work breaks. The best part was knowing that Daniel and Aastha mostly work from home. Our dogs are used to people being around so this was a huge bonus! Our younger dog can have some anxious tendencies that affect her eating and her GI and she had no issues during our 5 day trip. We will definitely book them again and cannot recommend them enough!”

“Amy did a lovely job taking care of my dog for 4 nights while I was out of town! This was my first experience using Rover and it was a great introduction. Amy was professional and easy to contact, and sent photos and updates daily. She has a great and professional setup and I knew my pup had lots of opportunities to socialize with the other dogs, sprint around, rest, lay in the sun, cuddle, and eat some treats. Amy was also very easily able to accommodate for my dog’s allergy to chicken and gave him some oral medication from our vet. Amy was a gem and we will definitely be back the next time I need a sitter :)”
