About: Hi there! My name is Lauren and I love all fur babies big and small! I have been an animal lover all my life and enjoy spending time with them as much as I can. Ever since I was a young teen, I have been an avid dog walker in my neighborhood, trying to make some extra cash but also getting to spend time with dogs as I did not have my own. Since then, I have been cat sitting for the last 5 years for my family and friends when they go out of town. In most recent years, I have been dog sitting for my coworkers on the weekends. Many of my coworkers have dogs and bring them to our pet friendly office. I have become quite popular with the dogs at the office as I love to take them out and play fetch in the grass space outside. I work Monday - Thursday until 4:30 pm but I am home by 5 pm. Fridays, I am available after 12 pm. I also have open availability on the weekends. I have 2 cats of my own who enjoy their own company, but I am very happy to pet sit in your own home if you are comfortable! I will guarantee that your pet is safe when outdoors whether that be on a leash or within the safety of a fenced yard.

About: I’ve taken care of my own and others, dogs and cats for over 16 years! I’ve worked with puppies as well as senior dogs. I specialize in dog running. Great for high energy dogs. I’m experienced in both house sitting and boarding dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a buddy for your dog to play with! I have a Great Pyrenees named Bubs As needed. We can work out a reoccurring schedule if you’re interested I prefer early morning, but however works for your schedule is ok with me. I’m flexible Fenced in yard, space and large bed for your pet available. My dog gets walked or ran twice daily and let out every three hours.
“Juliana was great! I was nervous about leaving my 5-month old kitten, but she and my other cat were happy and healthy when I returned. Juliana was also very accommodating with getting my apartment key back when my return time was delayed, which was appreciated. I would absolutely rebook. Thank you!”

About: When I was a child, I begged my parents for a dog. Instead of giving into my pleading, my genius mother encouraged me to get to know the dogs in my neighborhood in order to learn more about the responsibility of caring for one. As it turned out, one of our neighbors needed someone to look in on their dog in the afternoons. For the next five years, my sister and I would check in on our neighbor's dog, Lambeau, taking him on walks and playing with him after school. This experience was an invaluable learning opportunity in dog behavior, responsibility, and patience. My mother was a big fan as well, watching us develop the patience and discipline needed for dog care overtime, before adopting one of our own. And that was just the beginning. Soon after we met Lambeau, my sister and I became the local pet sitters in town, expanding our services to cat sitting and dog boarding. All of this practice finally led to adopting our own family dog, Benny. Benny was a beautiful golden doodle, full of energy, love and a healthy dose of mischief. He also had special needs, requiring several medications, strict diets, and even subcutaneous fluid injections for a short time. Because of his intense care regimen, our whole family needed to learn how to properly administer his treatments on a consistent schedule. Many nights with Benny were spent waking up every couple of hours for medication or going potty, and many meals took longer to prepare and coax him into eating. In the end, however, I am so grateful to him for teaching me that every dog is different, and that true care is about having the patience to get to know each dog's unique needs and personality. My schedule fluctuates week to week, but I am typically available 3-4 days per week (including weekends), so I am a good fit for those with a flexible or varying work schedule. If you need someone to care for your pup while you're out on date night, running errands, or just need some time alone, I am the sitter for you! To keep your dogs and others safe, I always walk them on leash and in dog-friendly areas. If your dog needs off-leash time, I will happily take them to a dog park or another enclosed outdoor space. I also keep plenty of poop bags, treats (unless specifically not requested), and an extra leash with me at all times. My building does not allow dogs, so I am not available for boarding, but happy to come to you for an overnight stay or check in.
“Nicole took excellent care of my cat, kept me updated every step of the way, and really went above and beyond in looking after him. She is clearly incredibly passionate about your pets and shows that she cares about their health and well-being.”

About: I am an attorney who is looking to make a little extra income. I love pets and have flexible hours to take care of yours! I had dogs growing up and have lived with an adorable orange cat too. In total, I’ve been a pet parent for almost 30 years. I have a flexible work from home job Thursday through Sunday and can absolutely zip over for a quick walk or to play with/feed/check on a dog or cat! A safe pet is a happy pet! Pets have boundaries and may take some time to warm up to a new person. I get that and will give them their time and space as needed.

About: I love animals and I have experience working at a pet store! I’ve learned many things regarding pet nutrition/behavior that help me watch your pet and create a comfy cozy environment for them! I work a 9-5, but it’s hybrid! I’d love to take your pet for a walk or hang with them for a few minutes a day - or help out in the evenings with a walking/play session! I look forward to connecting with your pets! I am hoping to add assistance/fun to your lives and will adhere to all the boundaries you have set for your pets. If watching in your home, we’ll make sure to follow all the rules and maintain their daily routine.
“Ranae did so well with our meet up!! I wanted my dachshund to meet her prior to an official day with her because he is reactive and takes some time to warm up to people. She was so kind and patient with him and by the end he loved her. He had a great time and was sad to see her go! She asked great questions and got to know more about us. I’m so glad to have found her- Milo’s official pet sitter! :)”

Stevens Square pet parents share their Rover experiences
She did a wonderful job with my guinea pigs. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. I was nervous about leaving them for an extended period of time as they are older guineas pigs, but she did better than I could have expected. I would highly recommend

This was my first time using Rover. Sierra checked in on my two cats while I was out of town (twice daily). We had recently got the second cat and she was very helpful in continuing their integration while we were away and ensured they were properly fed and healthy. Will be booking again.

MIriam did an incredible job watching Taro while I was away. I was nervous because he get's quite anxious but she did so many things to keep him happy while I was gone - lots of cuddles, brushing, put on videos for him to watch, etc. She kept up with all the different instructions I left and I would 100% recommend booking her!

Anna did a great job taking care of Nala while we were away. Having just moved to the area, it’s always a bit nerve wracking leaving a fur baby in a newer environment. We left instructions and not only did Anna ensure Nala was comfortable, but before our booking she came over for a meet and greet which we really appreciated. Thank you Anna!

Queenie took great care of my little high-maintenance kitty, Charlie Chaplin. She was very responsible & kept me informed on how her visits with him went and readily coordinated key collection/drop-off with me. I would recommend her to others needing pet care.
