About: I am a very loving person who has ALWAYS adored animals. My first very pets were two kittens named Tiger and Amy - who were brother and sister - and ended up having a litter together. I also had a dog named Sunshine who was a very energetic golden retriever. I took her on walks around our neighborhood and to the park for fetch and frisby. Most recently my parents got a puppy named flowers who is now almost 2 years old. I fed him, watched him when my parents were gone, took him for walks and did some training with him. About: I have both adopted and fostered young and senior dogs. The youngest dog I have fostered was 1 year old (Golden Retriever - 45 lbs) named Benny. The oldest dog I have cared for was my resident dog, Bubba (Black Lab/Husky Mix - 80 lbs) who I had for 4 years who recently passed away at 11. Dogs are my pride and joy! I work full time on the weekdays and am free on the weekends. I am available during the week sometimes after work. Willing to stay the weekend if needed. I treat dogs like I would my own. About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. Rover is my full-time job, so I can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.
