I work from home a few days throughout the week which allows me to have a more flexible schedule. But other than that, I am able to be flexible with my hours to allow for care when needed, especially when given a little bit of notice to plan accordingly. My weekends are very free as well and would love to help out whenever needed.

I live in an apartment, so we are unable to board dogs here that aren't our own. But with that being said, I am more than willing to care for pets at the client's home, which I honestly prefer because I think it makes it a little easier to transition for the dog because they are comfortable in that environment. Additionally, I work from home most days, so would be willing to come and hang out for a few hours during the day to keep your furry friend comfortable! If I were to stay at a client's home, I would make sure I clean up after myself and the animals and would leave the home just as clean as when I first got there. I think it is very important to respect the client's belongings and would be very diligent to make sure the home and animals are taken care of.

If any medication is required, I would just like to be informed of prior to the visit and if any special instructions are required. The past couple dogs I have had to administer meds for can either take them normally (and ensure they actually swallow) or have also used pill pocket treats or peanut butter to administer.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks or running around with them in the backyard. Since the weather is getting a little colder, I also love playing with dogs inside (whether that is playing chase, playing with toys, practicing tricks, playing tug of war, etc.).

I recently moved to St Louis Park and I have a hybrid day job, so I am working mostly from home and go into the office (in Minnetonka) 1-2 times a week. I love all kinds of dogs, and have pet-sat neighbors dogs for years, all different breeds and sizes of dogs. I often work from home, which allows for me to have a little more flexibility in the days, but evenings are generally pretty open as well. I have been a competitive and dedicated athlete my entire life so I live a very active lifestyle and would love to use this mindset to help your dogs, whether it is playing with them or taking them out for a walk! I share our family dog with my parents, so looking for a furry friend to hang out with when he is not here.

Kaitlyn is the best! When I couldn’t get home over lunch, she dropped by twice to check on Clover to let her out and keep her company! She takes fantastic care of her and our puppy always seems to be snuggled up in her lap or happy playing the afternoon away when she is around! Could not be happier to have Kaitlyn as our sitter!

Kaitlyn is wonderful! She has been doing drop-ins for our one year old puppy. He is a bit nervous but she is very thoughtful in her approach with him. Kaitlyn is responsive, timely and provides a thorough report card and pictures. We are so glad to have found her on Rover!
