About: I have grown up my whole life around animals and I love them very much. I have cared for animals of all ages and in many different kinds of situations. I can look after kittens or puppies, seniors, pets with unique personalities, and large dogs. I accept all breeds and can handle larger dogs due to my height. I can adapt to whatever your pet situation might be! I am currently unemployed and have all day and night to watch and care for a pet. I can walk dogs frequently, attend to any cleaning needs, give them attention or anything else they might need. I have a one bedroom apartment with open space in the living room and hiding spaces for a more timid pet. These areas can be blocked for safety reasons if needed. There are several parks and fields around my home for good walking and play. Accommodations can be made depending on the needs the animal has. I will be home with the pet to keep them company and ensure their safety. I have hardwood floors. My apartment is non smoking.

About: I have 10+ years of experience caring for neighbor’s pets, including cats, reptiles, and other not-so-furry friends, as well as taking care of my family’s many dogs and my own cats. I also foster-sit with a Minneapolis rescue when it works out. When I’m not working in office Tuesday- Thursday, I’m around all day to hang out with your furry friend and ensure all their needs are met. About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

About: Hello! We are a pet-loving family in Northeast Minneapolis who miss having a dog around the house and would love to fill that void by helping you out in your time of need! We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our beloved golden retriever a few years ago and while we'd love to add a dog to the house again, with two preschoolers our home life can be a handful and it just isn't the right time for the full commitment of dog ownership. That's why we love to open our hearts and home to furry guests! If you're visiting my profile for cat boarding, it is very much a cat-loving house as well - we have 2 cats in our home. I work a hybrid schedule, with flexibility and leniency to choose when I go into office. Daytime schedules are flexible for potty breaks, walks, and stimulation. Always available in the evenings to get some energy out before bedtime. As you can see in the photos, our daughters have inherited the pet-loving genes from their parents - your pet will never be without attention! We have a decent-sized yard but not fenced in. We do have a long leash we can attach in the backyard so your pet can be with us while we're playing outside. Our neighborhood is very sidewalk friendly and bustling with other dog owners. Your dog will always be leashed when out of the house. We are also very friendly with the neighbors next door, fully-fenced, and can use their backyard for off leash time. We have two cats in our home who are very sweet and have had no issues with any of our guests. But our standard is just to create separate floors (unless it's a known guest) so there need not be any interaction during your pet's stay to avoid conflict. One cat tends to make herself scarce during our guests' visits, while the other watches curiously and without incident. Our basement is finished and I always stay down there with our guests and sleep on the couch when we have visitors (they're welcome to cuddle!). As for cat boarding - the same as above applies, we can always create separate areas for litter/feeding for your cat and the resident cats. You will get frequent photo and text updates throughout your pet's stay - take a look at my reviews to confirm. Apologies if the stats on my profile don't indicate 100%, as I tend to keep in touch over text messages as opposed to Rover's messaging (which is what counts towards that metric).

About: I have always loved and cared for animals in general. I grew up with a Puggle who I passed at 18yrs old (2021), and we added a Pomeranian/Pekingese babe to our family in 2013. I grew up scared of cats, but I have my own now! His name is Panda and he’s 6 now! I taught him how to sit and lay down like a dog. He’s quite stubborn (like a lot of cats), but we practiced definitely made perfect. I’m also a proud doggy godmother to my best friend’s Boxer/Mastiff, Nova. I’m that person who will stop in the middle of the road, get out to direct traffic for a family of ducks to cross. I’ve had to pullover to help dogs find they’re home again. I’m my family’s and friend’s go-to for animal sitting (and human sitting). They rely on my extremely high level of patience and love towards animals, and they also appreciate how stern I am when they misbehave. I’ve got your pet’s back and yours! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom for my infant daughter. My schedule is wide open! She loves going on walks with me and is great with noises of all types. I'm very by the book, so let me know your restrictions and instructions are and trust that they'll be followed. Microchipped or not, your pet is just as important as my pet. Clients usually come back to their space in better condition than it was left to me in.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
