About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, frequently being asked to watch the neighbors pets. I love going for walks and am happy to go fast for energetic dogs, slow for seniors, or whatever pace the dog wants to go! I have my own 10 year old dog who I care for always. I currently work full time so I am available to walk dogs before or after regular working hours. I have my own dog so I understand the importance of getting walks in daily! I cannot take dogs into my home, but I am used to caring for a dog so I understand essentials of care that they need.
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my lifelong love and experience with animals—I grew up with pets of my own and truly understand the care and attention they need. As a dog lover at heart, I treat every pet like family. My passion for the outdoors means your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air and long, enriching walks. I also have a special place in my heart for relaxed, elderly pets and am more than happy to provide the gentle care, patience, and extra snuggles they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I am currently a Physician Assistant student looking for a little extra cash before starting my full time job. I have a wide array of availability and will work with your schedule. I will foster a safe environment for your loved ones, making sure that all their needs are met! I am trustworthy and will put you and your animals best interest at heart.
“Ava was really amazing. She was very professional, and above all she was very thoughtful, kind and caring with our senior with special needs dog. She met with us prior to our scheduled drop ins so she was familiar with Cole’s needs and routines. She was an exceptional communicator, sending pictures and updating us with how things were going, and very understanding with our shy senior dog. We would highly recommend her and definitely look forward to using her again!”

“Jessica did a great job with drop in visits to check on my cat. She was amazing with communication and reliable. I would recommend her and I would re-book her again!”

“Ashley was very accommodating was able to book last minute and squeeze me in and still meet my kiddos needs. Communicative and fast response to any questions or concerns I had. Thanks”

“Scott was a fantastic sitter for my cat, especially since it was a last-minute booking. Communicative, accommodating, and made sure Nova was happy and healthy the whole week!”

About: I have had my boys for 8 years now. I was a foster and a volunteer for a dog rescue when I lived in Okinawa. I am currently taking a break from working full-time and would like to fill my free time with pets. This unique schedule lets me visit at anytime of day! I’m great at following directions! Does your pet have a super weird routine? I’d love to see it! I’m also quite familiar with standoffish pets and will act accordingly.
About: My family calls me the 'cat whisperer’ because I seem to correctly translate what a cat wants or is feeling, most of the time! Throughout my childhood I’ve had 3 cats and 4 dogs. One dog was unpredictable and sometimes aggressive, so I know how to interact with a household pet with that personality. Cat or dog, my #1 priority is the animals wellbeing and happiness. I'm also a future veterinary technician! I'm currently a Med-Caregiver at Feline Rescue on Tuesdays, and I volunteer at the Animal Humane Society's Veterinary Clinic on Wednesday's or Friday's My indoor cat is a princess, so traveling to the clients home or dog walking would be ideal. I live in a dog friendly building so we could swing by the concierge for a dog treat, rehydrate, then cross 4th street to run around in the grass, also called The Commons. I have experience giving oral medication to dogs/cats of friends and family. I am the one to call if a pet is getting used to/uncomfortable with taking medication. I take a very slow, gentle approach, listening to the animals body language. And if you're looking for someone to tire them out- I can crank up the energy to 1000 if need be! I am a quick learner in understanding how a cat or dog prefers their food or play time. I prefer written instructions so that I can ensure I check all the boxes, the more detailed instructions the better!
“I have had Tanya take care of my kitties a few times now and she is absolutely wonderful with them!! They are well taken care of and seem very happy when I return. She is reliable and timely with her visits. Her communications are the best, and I love getting the photos and updates of how they are doing. I am very happy with her services!!”

“Such a great dog sitter! My dog is a senior dog with quite a few specific needs - meds, food, etc. Noah was so wonderful! He did everything I asked and more. I know my dog was in great hands and that he truly cared about her. Thank you for taking the stress out of leaving for the week.”
“This was our first time using Rover, we have a 9 week old kitten with a lot of energy and a 2 year old cat. Samantha’s glowing reviews are accurate. We were able to schedule a video call with Samantha for her to meet the girls. She asked all the right questions and has a ton of experience with animals. Our check in cards were the best part, she took up to 22 photos, (framable photos!) and a thorough update on the cats pees, poops, playtime and cuddles/ behaviors. We will ABSOLUTELY book with Samantha again:)”

“Wonderful!! Thank you so much Juliana! You gave our puppies a much needed break and on top of it, you came with such short notice on Thanksgiving Day! You’re awesome!! Mike and Claudia Wondra”

I’ve spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I bring that lifelong experience into every walk. I understand canine behavior, energy levels, and the importance of structured, enriching walks that go beyond simple exercise. My priority is always your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort. Every walk is conducted with care, awareness, and consistency so your dog feels secure and engaged from start to finish. What you can expect: - Professional, dependable scheduling and punctual arrivals - Calm, confident handling of dogs of all temperaments - Walks tailored to your dog’s pace, energy, and needs - Full attention—no distractions, no shortcuts - Clear communication with updates and photos after each walk I believe great dog walking is about building trust—not just with the owner, but with the dog. My goal is to become a consistent, familiar presence your pet looks forward to seeing! If you’re looking for someone who treats dog walking as a craft rather than a chore, I’d love to connect! Pet care is central to both my current routine and the career I’m actively building. I am transitioning into dog walking as my full-time focus, so my schedule is intentionally structured around availability, consistency, and giving each pet my full attention. I have availability during for blocks of time each day: morning, midday, afternoon, and evening. I plan my day around these commitments rather than fitting them in around other obligations, which ensures that every walk is treated as a priority rather than an afterthought. Ultimately, pet care isn’t just part of my routine—it is the foundation of my professional path moving forward. Every dog I walk is treated with the same level of care, attention, and responsibility as if they were my own, because their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and environment. I prioritize keeping each pet comfortable by respecting their established feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific behavioral or medical needs. I make it a point to ensure they feel calm, secure, and well-attended to while their owner is away or unavailable. During walks, I focus on safe, structured, and engaging outings tailored to each dog’s energy level, temperament, and preferences. I stay fully attentive throughout the walk, maintaining control and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety at all times. I avoid distractions and prioritize a calm, confident handling style so each dog feels secure and supported. In both settings, I treat every home with care and professionalism—leaving spaces exactly as I found them and maintaining clear communication with owners as needed. My approach is built on trust, consistency, and respect for both the pet and the owner’s space. Also I have a super-loving golden retriever who loves to make new friends! So if your dog is looking for more social time, meeting Cooper is an option as well!
“Krista is a phenomenal sitter who takes great care of my sweet girl while I’m away. They send lots of updates and photos, and is very accommodating when it comes to key exchanges! I will be booking with them again:)”

About: I have experience caring for my family’s 3 cats for over 12 years. I have administered medicine, cleaned litter boxes, and picked up after accidents. I can adapt to different personalities, including nervous and reserved. I also have experience with dogs as I cared for my cousin’s dog on weekdays in highschool, lived with a roommate’s dog in college, and also recently lived with a puppy and walked her regularly from 5 months old to 1.5 years old. I work from home so my schedule can be flexible depending on the day! I also have 1 hour lunch breaks from 12-1pm every day. I am available on weekends as needed. I can walk your dog, play with your cat, give an afternoon snack, or clean the litter box! I love petting animals and will provide the type of care they need.
About: With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rats, and even lizards! I’m confident handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions who need a bit of extra TLC. I also have experience administering medications like pills, topical creams, and pet inhalers. I’m always happy to learn your pet’s unique routine and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m a student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes and work, I’m fully available on Fridays and weekends and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. I look forward to meeting new pets and giving them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I stick to their usual routine—whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or meds—whatever they need to feel at ease. I know how important it is to have someone you trust in your home, so I’m always respectful of your space and do my best to leave things just as I found them (or better!). I’ll also send plenty of photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you're away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and try to make the time you're gone as stress-free as possible for both of you.
“Jessica was fabulous! I can't say enough about how prompt, communicative, and accommodating she was with our cat. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right, and her updates gave us such peace of mind while we were away. I’m incredibly thankful for her care and will absolutely be using her again without hesitation!”

“Queenie took great care of my little high-maintenance kitty, Charlie Chaplin. She was very responsible & kept me informed on how her visits with him went and readily coordinated key collection/drop-off with me. I would recommend her to others needing pet care.”

“Gabby was great, very communicative, and my cats seemed well cared-for. She even went to my building to try and check on them the day after my last booking date when my flights were unexpectedly delayed. I would definitely recommend her as a pet-sitter to anyone I know.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Minneapolis
This was our first time leaving our kitties in the care of someone other than ourselves. We lucked out with Darwin. He was attentive to Dolly and Reba, communicative with us on a daily basis (sending photos and updates), professional, punctual, personable, and just as important, knowledgable about feline care and emergency resources. We felt confident entrusting him with our sweeties, and will continue to call on him for pet-sitting services in the future. Norma Schuh, Minneapolis.
Hannah is a wonderful pet sitter! She is incredibly patient with our senior cats, who can range from friendly to skeptical to downright mean. Our grumpy old man cat requires medication, and she has been incredible in working with us to acclimate him to a new person so he can be monitored and medicated while we are gone. We so appreciate your time and patience with our pets!
Reagan has been wonderful both times she has watched our dogs. One of my dogs is a rescue, and she doesn't like many people. She loved Reagan immediately. She has been friendly, flexible, reliable, and trustworthy. I would highly recommend her to any pet owner looking for a loving care taker for their dog. Thank you, Reagan!

It was such a pleasure to have Caroline watch our three cats. We were worried about one of them because they needed special attention, but Caroline eased our concerns right from the first meet-up. She won our cats over immediately and asked all the right questions to show us they were in good hands! We were able to enjoy our trip without worry about our kids back home thanks to her reliable updates and charming glamour photos. If she’s available next time we go on a trip, we will reach out to Caroline again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
