About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been a dedicated dog owner for over 8 years. For the past 3 years, I’ve also fostered pups, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments and styles. I’m comfortable with everything from high energy personalities to shy or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs (my last pup was 18!), puppies and everything in between. At this time, I’m focusing on small and medium sized dogs so they will be the best match for my own dog and I can provide the best care possible. I work full time from home and am available to board in my house anytime for most lengths of time. Lots of time to play with your pup! Right now, I’m open to hosting small and medium pups—as they are the best matches for my own dog. My dog, Elliot, loves to go for walks (weather permitting) and we’d love for your pup to tag along! If the weather is bad, my yard is perfect for zoomies, ball/toy chasing, neighbor watching and basking in the sun. I have my own small pup who is energetic and loves to play, but isn’t pushy. I work from home so we are together all the time! We walk often—in the morning, at lunch and in evenings. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks with lots of toys and enrichment. I am home most of the time, but would contain (kennel or pen if needed) when I leave and I’m also open to pups that aren’t kenneled but safe to leave out (I’d put away my own dog).

About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of various dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog, and now have taken care of numerous dogs in the year I’ve been on Rover. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings? Last minute? No problem. I think of pets as family, and will treat your pet like my family. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!) As a horseback rider, I find the skills of working with our animal friends transfer easily. Regardless of species, they enjoy human attention/affection, engagement and are often much smarter than we give them credit for.

I’ve raised and cared for a Border Collie mix, Boxer, Pug, and Min Pin—so I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy dogs to smaller companions. I’ve also been involved in training, so I understand the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement. Your pet will be treated like family—safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or check-ins. I’m available most evenings as well, depending on my kids’ activities, and I plan my schedule to make sure each pet receives reliable and attentive care. I offer loving, reliable care both in my home and yours. I live in a two-bedroom place near Dean Parkway, just minutes from Lake Bde Maka Ska—perfect for walks, fresh air, and dog park visits. I’m active, so your pup will get great exercise, but there’s also plenty of comfy space for downtime and cuddles. My two kids are also gentle and loving with all pets, adding to the warm, welcoming environment. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, and any special needs to make sure your pet feels right at home.

About: I am well versed in caring for small and senior dogs. I have the patience required to care for low-to-no-vision, hard-of-hearing dogs. I have cared for multiple and currently have one of my own. I also regularly volunteer at the shelter with dogs of all backgrounds and have had animal handling training. I have cared for many animals that require daily medications so you can rest easy knowing your furry friend won't miss a dose of essential medication! I have also watched cats, birds, turtles, and small mammals like rabbits and guinea pigs. I currently work full-time but am usually home by 4pm. I would be ideal as a sitter, walker, or caretaker for your animal if you work evenings or weekends, or if your pet is comfortable alone for about 8 hours. I am quite flexible weekends and evenings so I am sure we can work something out! While I can't watch your animals in my home at this time, I can care for them in their own environment! I have been trusted many times to watch not only animals but the home in general while people are away.

About: I’ve owned a number of well-trained dogs over the years and all of my friends always comment about how much animals love me! I take care of a number of friends/ acquaintances pets while they are away. I teach full time so I work until 5:30 Monday-Friday but I’m off the clock any time other than that! I’m also able to potty during break. I house/ pet sitting for a number of people in my personal life so I’m accustomed to adapting to whatever lifestyle your pet may need!

About: Experience with dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting. I've provided pet/house care for families who have taken extended vacations (2-5 weeks). Love to be active and play with animals! I'm responsible and consistent and willing to help with extra tasks in your home (plant care, light cleaning, taking out trash, etc.). While I can't have your pet in my home, I am able and willing to stay overnight, drop-in for extended visits/walks, and/or do what your pet needs to be comfortable. I have years of experience nannying in people’s homes and I’m currently working as a speech therapist in school and hospital settings. I hope you’ll give me a chance to take care of your pet(s)! I work 3 days per week, from around 7:30-3pm. I work one weekend per month from 8-4pm. I’m able to stop by before work, after work, weekends, and of course stay over if that works best! I always try to incorporate exercise and/play into the pet’s day if possible. I try to make sure animals feel safe and cared for, giving space if they need.
