About: I've taken care of several dogs and cats for my friends and family as well as my family's pets while growing up. Experience with many dog breeds: Lab/Great Dane/Boston Terrier/Golden Retriever I work from home as a web developer so I am home for most of the day and have plenty of time to play and take them out I live in an apartment complex that has a dog run as well as many tails close by for walks. About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. I have had 5 dogs and 6 cats myself in my lifetime. I regularly take care of a 14 year old dachshund. I have been caring for him for over 8 years now. He comes to my place and stays up to a couple of weeks several times a year. My dog and cat both get along with others very well. Deru is the little guys name. He is a diabetic. I have many years of experience giving him his insulin shots and special food needs. I feel I can handle most any pets needs with little or no problems. I have many many references I can share with whoever would like them? I love rescuing dogs and cats. I love trying to help place them in loving homes. I also know many vets in town that would also give me great references as well. I can't think of anything I would rather do with my life than taking care of dogs, and cats!! I have a dog and a cat myself. My dog is a high energy dog so she gets dog park time every day as well as walks around her neighborhood almost daily. I only have a partially fenced yard. However I will not let a clients dog of a leash unless we are at an off leash dog park.

About: Scott and I love dogs! We were previously dog sitters via Rover and foster parents through the Bond Between (fka secondhand hounds). We currently have time to offer dog walking and drop in visits...so started our Rover account back up! About: SERVICES ENDING FOR DOG SITTING JUNE 6TH I've had dogs and cats for most of my life, both from infancy and up. I enjoy cuddles, going for walks, and just hanging out with them. I’ve been hosting pups since Aug 22. I currently have 3 cats of my own. I have one dog. They all get along and cuddle up together. Unfortunately I’m back to working two-three days in the office. I do duck out and go home to let the dogs out and remain home after 6-7 hours in the office. I love taking photos and sending you updates. Even your canine might text you! I play a few sports a couple of nights sometimes. I have 4 animals right now that I take care of. When I've babysat for others, they just become another part of our own daily routine. We have morning walks and outdoor time. I have a fenced in yard. If your pet shows they just want to hang outside, I let them. Otherwise I will go out and monitor. If your dog and my cats don't get along, the cats have a separate area they can go to. Since I have my own dog, they get lots of play time. We also go for 1-2 walks a day or however many you recommend

While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.

About: I have been a veterinary technician since 2009 and wouldn't trade it for anything. I work at an animal hospital 5 blocks away from home, so medical care is always close by if needed. I grew up on a little horse farm and always had animals of all sorts, especially dogs. Though Rob didn't grow up with pets, he now wants to bring in any animal that needs a home. Monday and Tuesday we are both in the office, but everyone is still able to be let out every 4 hours. The other days there is usually someone home most of the day. We recently had, what we like to refer to as, a senior center for elderly cats and dogs. But they have all passed and we now have 2 young large dogs, Gramps and Nana. Small senior dogs have our hearts, and we are more than well trained to care for them. Dont let our dogs size deter you, because they are their favorites too. We typically only take on one family at a time. If there are multiple requests for the same dates we will check with both families and meet the dogs before we consider taking them both on. All dogs are family in our house. They get all the same snuggles and get to sleep in the bed if they normally do. I know I love to get picture updates when my dogs are at the sitters, so I like to do the same. If you're dog is unsure about being around our pets, we do have a lot of space and they can have their own room (our dogs are our kids). Taking care of pets is my job. So if you're pet needs medications, injections, fluids, etc. I am happy to do it. We are available for pet care in our home 7 days a week. If you are needing care in your home that will be on a case by case basis of availability. We supervise everyone while they are outside and have 2 separate fenced in yards. One of the yards is larger and contains an in ground pool. They are only allowed in that yard supervised and if you are comfortable with it. If that's the case, we do like to know ahead of time if you're dog likes to swim. If they do enjoy swimming I am happy to clean their ears afterwards so they don't get those pesky ear infections. We have XL and small crates if your dog needs to be crated at night or when we leave. I also have cameras on them to keep an eye out when we are out of the house. Two days a week we are both at the office. I am able to come home during lunch and let everyone out, then Rob comes home a few hours later. Otherwise someone is usually always home. Everyone usually only stays on the main level of the house, except when spending the day working with Rob they can be in a gated area downstairs. There are also about 4 steps to get in and out of the potty yard. This works well for most dogs, but we do carry our seniors.

“Rikki & Daniel were great! My dog Stella stayed at their house over a weekend and must have had a good time since she was pooped when we picked her up. Rikki was easy to coordinate with and response time was always quick!”
“Our dogs had another fantastic stay with Daisy, and we truly can’t thank her and her family enough. We were away from home for a while this time, which is always a bit stressful when you have four dogs, but knowing they were with Daisy made it so much easier for us to leave them. The updates we received were wonderful and really put our minds at ease—we could see exactly how happy and comfortable they felt. One of our dogs has been like glue to Daisy’s dog, Kofta, ever since they met. They are inseparable and it is the cutest thing! Kofta is such a good-natured dog that even our other pups felt comfortable enough to play with him. We were also so grateful for the specialized attention given to our 15-year-old boy. Because he needs more quiet time, Daisy was very mindful to keep him separate so he could have his own peaceful space to rest. It is rare to find someone who can balance the needs of a senior dog while managing a high-energy group so well. We truly appreciate her thoughtfulness and highly recommend her!”

She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing.
