“Joe was amazing! My dog, Chocolate Chip, loved him and his sweet dog Henry. Joe gave me so many great tips as a first-time dog owner and was incredibly accommodating with my work schedule. I felt completely at ease knowing Chip was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with Joe again soon!”

“Howie is very kind and took excellent care of my little man. Nigel seemed so comfortable and happy there. He gave great updates, and was very thorough with the plan of care when Nigel stays. Nigel will be staying with him every Wednesday!”
“Jody takes amazing care of my pup. She is very diligent and caring, and has gone above and beyond for Roma when she has been sick. I trust Jody and continue to bring my dog for regular pet sitting. Jody is great.”

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, ranging in sizes from mini - extra large! I have always had a love for taking care of dog and I would love to meet yours! I am a volunteer for No Dogs Left Behind- that is where we rescued our Willy boy from! We also temporarily foster from time to time. If there are any commands or simple trainings that you would like for me to work on, I am happy to. I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me too plan my day around your dogs needs! My typical day consist of breakfast and potty 7-8am, Midmorning playtime/ potty, 2-3pm lunch then potty, 4:30pm playtime/ walk, 7pm dinner, 8pm night walk. I live on a first floor apartment with a partially fenced in backyard, making it easy to let your fur baby out to play and potty as much as needed! I know how scared it is to leave your furry friend for the day and or a long trip. I will assure you that my household is a welcoming, fun, and calming environment! I live about 10 minutes away walking to the lake of the Isles dog park (if you are comfortable with it) and have the Greenway 200 feet away for great walks and sniffs. My dog William, the love bug, gets along great with all breeds and sizes.
“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

“Thank you Nyree, my Inosuke was so happy and comfortable in your home my son said Inosuke cried because he had to go home. You help me reduced my anxiety especially since this was his first day care. I appreciate you so much, highly recommend and will use again.”

About: My beloved rescue pup has just turned sweet 16 in January 2026, and we have been together for a decade. Prior experience includes dog sitting for 9 years for doodles and various breeds. My dog loves relaxing days with new friends. Pet care is my daily routine because my dog is the most important part of my life. I am available every day because I work and play from home. I live on the first floor of a dog friendly apartment with a secure balcony equipped for quick potty breaks with a view. We are located next to a greenway for fun walking adventures. Since I am a homebody, I am always here to make sure your dog is safe, having a great day with new friends, and getting lots of cuddles.
“Kira took our 8-month old Pomeranian for the day and provided many updates and photos. Otis looked very comfortable in her space and with her dog.”

“Meggie was great! We did a meet and greet prior to the booking which was not only good for our boy Bigsby but good for us! She responded promptly and communicated well. Would book again and recommend!”

About: I've had dogs and cats for most of my life, both from infancy and up. I enjoy cuddles, going for walks, and just hanging out with them. I’ve been hosting pups since Aug 22. I currently have 3 cats of my own. I have one dog. They all get along and cuddle up together. Unfortunately I’m back to working two-three days in the office. I do duck out and go home to let the dogs out and remain home after 6-7 hours in the office. I love taking photos and sending you updates. Even your canine might text you! I play a few sports a couple of nights sometimes. I have 4 animals right now that I take care of. When I've babysat for others, they just become another part of our own daily routine. We have morning walks and outdoor time. I have a fenced in yard. If your pet shows they just want to hang outside, I let them. Otherwise I will go out and monitor. If your dog and my cats don't get along, the cats have a separate area they can go to. Since I have my own dog, they get lots of play time. We also go for 1-2 walks a day or however many you recommend

About: I've taken care of several dogs and cats for my friends and family as well as my family's pets while growing up. Experience with many dog breeds: Lab/Great Dane/Boston Terrier/Golden Retriever I work from home as a web developer so I am home for most of the day and have plenty of time to play and take them out I live in an apartment complex that has a dog run as well as many tails close by for walks. I love animals so I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe and cared for

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

About: I have been a known pet and house sitter my whole life. Since my earliest memories, I have had strong connections with animals, having a cat and dog since being a toddler. I have lived and cared for all types of animals from bunnies, hedgehogs, bearded dragons, crabs, fish, chicken, finches, cats and of course dogs. There is not an animal I have met that I have not loved and has not loved me. They all come with scars especially my cat now who I adopted. Animals will show the respect you give them and I know how to approach any animal with any background. Strong experience training with rescue animals and all dog breeds. I’m currently working a few businesses on my own time and looking for other employment. I work Monday 8-4, Tuesday and Thursday noon-6pm can provide 4-8 hour potty breaks usually being 6-8 hours on those work days especially. I will not be at your home 24/7, please, don’t expect this! ONLY serious situations need this level of care and I would have to adjust the cost. I DO NOT negotiate lower rates. Please contact someone else. Prices may increase based on request (ie parking costs, distance). My cat is friendly with other animals (cats and dogs) shes met on multiple occasions. With boardings, she loves to hiss at first, but calms down and doesn’t mind sharing space with dogs who are familiar with cats! Make sure all animals have clean plates to eat on every day. Clean litter box daily. Non toxic and animal friendly cleaners. Non toxic plants. My cat has feline herpes and I have cared for her infections, over grooming, special diet needs and more to keep her happy and healthy. She keeps her distance from the dogs who visit unless here for more than a few days, she might sit nearby. My knowledge on cats (and dogs) and their behavior comes from 20 years of research, discussion and hands on experience. I am a naturally fast learner, extremely kind and patient with animals (way easier than people LOL) and detail oriented. I will always leave your animal happy with my love and care! I live in a quiet area but theres still some noise because it is an apartment building.
Saint Louis Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily and her family are the sweetest! It’s floras’s second time with them and we really feel comfortable leaving Flora over there! You can tell they genuinely love dogs and treat Flora as part of the family! Flora comes relaxed and tired from all the attention! We are super grateful to have found Emily :) thank you so much!

Emily is a wonderful ‘dog mom’. We did a meet and greet first and she welcomed me in her home and we sat and talked and she asked questions about our dog. She has since watched Ranger a few times and it’s been great. She sends photos and updates. Ranger has issues with wood floors so we brought some runners. She was more than happy to put down the rugs and help make Ranger comfortable in her home.

Howie was absolutely AMAZING! I had a last minute trip and it was my first time in about 10 years using rover and he made it extremely easy and worked with me on changing times and worked with my roommate as well, much appreciated! Howie treated my dog so good and even from the initial meeting they bonded very quickly! Thank you so much Howie, me and Grampaw will be using your services in the future :)

Hershey was very well cared for by Hannah. He was pulling to run to her door and he came home tired, telling me he was walked, played with and fed. He is 2 yet still has puppy energy so tired was a good sign. We will definitely request Hannah again and very soon.

Hilary was able to accommodate me in a short notice. She did a great due diligence to ensure that my dog is a good match for her pets. She was very communicative and respectful, provided great updates and photos. Hilary took my pup on a long walk w her pup. I felt very secure about her having my dog.

Izsabella and he dog Willie took such a great care of Ted on multiple occasions. Izsabella is very responsive and respectful. She always checks in and updates me. Her cute videos with Ted make me want to change my job and work remotely too so I can host play dates for my dog.

Lely & Mark were wonderful with Oakley! They kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. He stayed busy with lots of playtime and even got a nice walk in. It was clear he was in great hands—he came home happy and promptly fell asleep from a full, fun day. We’re so grateful for the great care and would happily have Oakley stay with them again!
