About: I have always loved dogs! (Though nagging my parents throughout my childhood didn't pay off until I was in high school and we finally got our first family dog) My husband and I have had our dog for over 3 years now. Friends and family have relied on me to watch their pets in the past, whether that’s just walks for watching them overnight, I’d love to extend this care to new dogs! I work full time but from home, so I am available for morning or lunch time walks, or anytime after 5pm! I am flexible on weekends as well I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I will be around during the day to provide care, walks, and outdoor playtime in our fenced in yard! We have one dog at home, so for his safety and the safety of your dog, we do require dogs to be crated if neither myself or my husband is home. This would generally only be for an hour or so, with a 4 hour max. I am also happy to learn about each potential dogs needs and provide exactly what you're looking for in my home!

About: I was responsible for the cats and dogs we had growing up and now I have 4 year old Golden and 6 year old orange kitty that I call my own! They love other animals almost as much as my husband and I do! We frequently dog sit a 6 year old bichon and thought it would be nice if we could have another animal in the house when he’s not here. I work in the same building that I live and my husband is a full time remote student so he is here all day, everyday. At our place, we take our Golden out at least 4 times per day. There are residential areas across the street from where we live, which is where we go for long walks, or around the building for shorter walks. We also like going to Lake of the Isles dog park if you are comfortable with us taking them there. During the day, my fiancé multitasks work and playing with the animals and I also do on my breaks and lunch. Your pet will surely not be bored but can also rest when they need to.
10. Erica W.
“Erica loves animals! Every time my dog sees her he's so happy and excited. She's known my pup since he was a baby and has been so good to him. She's helped me out countless times and I couldn't recommend her more! 13/10!”
11. Jessica M.
“Jess is a detail-oriented and responsible person, and her job as a NICU nurse shows that. If she can take care of infants in the ICU, taking your dog on a walk is a piece of cake!”

About: *Please note, I live in a condo building. If your dog tends to bark, I am not a good fit. They also must be potty trained. Since joining Rover I have cared for cats, large dogs, old dogs and small dogs. I myself have had dogs my whole life. Growing up, we had four of them! I love to run and be active and I live right by the lake. Don’t let that fool you though - we certainly have our lazy days. I have an 8 year old hound mix, Ella. She keeps me busy but is also very cuddly and lazy. I have never had a problem between her and another pet. Besides her, I only watch one Rover dog or cat at a time. If I am doing a home stay, I request that I bring her with so I don’t have to run back and forth. I go into the office two days a week from roughly 9 am - 4 pm. All other days I am working from home. On the weekends, I can let you know my plans if I might be away for a few hours. I live in a one bedroom condo, so if I go away I usually put one animal in my bedroom and my dog in my living room. I also have a cage, but if you have one you prefer to bring, I will of course take it!
13. Sierra & Brendon J.

14. Jeremy R.

15. Ekaterina U.

16. Riley W.
About: Hello there, I'm Riley—an avid pet lover and your dedicated pet sitter. My lifelong connection with animals, especially dogs, has shaped my journey into a fulfilling pet care career. From sharing a bassinet with a loyal Weimaraner to caring for a blind dog, my experiences have shown me the boundless joy that pets bring to our lives. Growing up surrounded by dogs, I learned that each pet has a unique personality and needs. From my own GSP named Jazz to family outings with Jedi, our energetic GSP, I've cherished every moment. My experience isn't limited to dogs—I've also spent significant time cat sitting and working with educational animals like snakes, birds, and frogs. Whether it's an overnight stay, grooming session, or simply playtime, I tailor my services to ensure your pets feel loved and cared for. My qualifications include hands-on experience preparing specialized diets and medications for raptors. I approach every animal with the understanding that they are individuals deserving of attention and respect. Each pet's well-being is my priority, and I take pride in providing the specific care they require. I had the privilege of looking after a friend's blind dog on multiple occasions. Witnessing his determination to explore and enjoy life, despite his condition, was truly heartwarming. It's moments like these that remind me of the remarkable spirits that pets embody. I am currently between jobs and so I have a relatively open schedule, with a bit of interviews and moving tasks here and there. I love going on long walks around the lakes and would love your pet to be my company. I am moving at the end of the month and so can not house any pets at the moment. I walk around the lakes and parks of the Uptown and Whittier area A LOT and know all the best on and off leash areas. I also have an SUV sized car that can accommodate even large crates.
