“Amy is fantastic! She definitely knows dogs and is comfortable, capable, and trustworthy. She has been walking our Pearl for a few weeks now and it has worked out great. Pearl needs a lot of exercise and Amy takes her out on long walks with her dog, Luna, and they have lots of adventures, like seeing ducks, smelling good spring smells, and playing together. I feel so much better during the day knowing that Pearl will get a long walk and some social time!”

About: I’ve been taking care of not only dogs, but cats and other animals since I was young. I can care for reptiles, birds, fish and more! I’m currently working part time at a doggy daycare and am a college freshman! I work a a range of hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, and have my classes early in the day on Tuesday and Thursday! I’m very experienced with dog walking and animal handling whether it’s high maintenance dogs, crazy cats, messy puppies or quite frankly any other animal or pet, I am willing to learn their specific care routine and care for them in your home!
10. Victoria G.
“Victoria has been my go-to dog sitter for years whenever I am out of town! She loves and cares for my dog like she’s her own. My dog is always so excited to see her! I never worry about her when she’s with Victoria because I know she’s safe and having fun!”

About: *Please note, I live in a condo building. If your dog tends to bark, I am not a good fit. They also must be potty trained. Since joining Rover I have cared for cats, large dogs, old dogs and small dogs. I myself have had dogs my whole life. Growing up, we had four of them! I love to run and be active and I live right by the lake. Don’t let that fool you though - we certainly have our lazy days. I have an 8 year old hound mix, Ella. She keeps me busy but is also very cuddly and lazy. I have never had a problem between her and another pet. Besides her, I only watch one Rover dog or cat at a time. If I am doing a home stay, I request that I bring her with so I don’t have to run back and forth. I go into the office two days a week from roughly 9 am - 4 pm. All other days I am working from home. On the weekends, I can let you know my plans if I might be away for a few hours. I live in a one bedroom condo, so if I go away I usually put one animal in my bedroom and my dog in my living room. I also have a cage, but if you have one you prefer to bring, I will of course take it!
12. Tara L.
“I have known Tara for over 30 years and she has been an animal lover the entire time. I have watched her raise and love several dogs over the years, and see her respond with kindness and love to any dog she meets. Tara has raised three amazing humans and I know that caring for dogs and helping people out would bring her great joy now that her kids are all grown up and her current dog is aging. Tara is an incredibly responsible person. She does what she says she will do, and you can always depend on her. She is a professional project manager and has great attention to detail and a respect for schedules. She has had a dog as long as I have known her and understands their needs and is in tune with things when they do not seem right. She in very respectful of others and very trustworthy. I would completely trust her coming into my home and caring for my dogs. Please feel free to call me if you would like any additional information. I am excited for Tara to have this opportunity and even more excited for the lucky people whose dogs she will care for.”
13. Manci L.
“Thank you, Manci! Thank you for your concern, your empathy, and your care for our dogs. Looking forward to seeing you again.”
14. Laura C.
“Vida seemed very happy and at least slightly tired (not an easy feat for an 8 month old vizsla!) when I got home. It looked like she had a good time with Laura, and I was happy that I was kept in the loop! We'll definitely be repeat customers.”

About: I absolutely love dogs! I’ve taken care of many of my friends’ dogs while they’re on vacation 😀 I work from home so I’m extra attentive to their needs (ie. Frequent walks, cuddles, and play-time). I also used to have a dog growing up so I totally understand that every dog has their own personality/needs. As a remote worker, I can easily incorporate walks and playtime for your pup throughout the day! I work from 8-4 pm, so I also have a lot of flexibility afterwards as well! I’ll be planning on making several trips to the dog park throughout the week, as well as walking your dog very frequently. I have a yard for the dogs to play in, a house for them to roam in, and I also offer crating services when needed! Typically, I allow the dogs to roam throughout the house and sit on the furniture (other than the bed) - I also let them out in the backyard for a certain amount of time so they can enjoy being outside as much as possible!

“Great job taking care of Kona. As a 4 month old rough collie she needs a lot of attention and exercise and she acted like she got that from Howie.”
17. Bradley S.
“Brad was great! Kaia was very happy to see him when he came back in day two.”
18. Madison W.
“Percy loves his walks with Madison!”
19. Hilary W.
“I've lived with Hilary for a year and a half, and before that I watched her dog Ursa when she went out of town. Hilary is one of the biggest animal lovers I know and will treat your pup to lots of playtime and cuddles. She's also volunteered with local shelters, taking care of big and small dogs. She's great at picking up on tension or restlessness and addressing behavioral issues with dogs. She's also pretty much bursting with dog related trivia from that experience. If you want a caring, prepared dog sitter, 10/10 would recommend Hilary.”

About: I have experience walking German shepherds & Weimaraners and I love to house sit for dogs who get lonely when their owners are gone! A cat owner myself, I know the importance of giving care and respecting their boundaries! I am very patient with nervous animals. I am a server and mostly work at night. So I am available, for late night check ins or day time walks. I am flexible and can make most arrangements work! I treat animals as if they were my own, because I know what it's like to leave my favorite being at home. I follow owner's instructions clearly and make sure the animal is given the best care possible so they can be at ease.
