“Brooke did another great walk with our dog today! She was on time, communicative, and shared a nice update with photos after the walk. We look forward to more walks with Brooke in the future!”

“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! I will definitely be using Kayla again on my next work trip!”

“Annalise is fantastic! Our girl Pearl is quite exuberant when meeting new people, and Annalise knew exactly what was going on. She has taken great care of Pearl, including walks with lots of fun smells and wrapping up the visit with some learning and playtime. I feel so good knowing that Pearl is cared for by someone so knowledgeable and caring. Thank you, Annalise!”

“Nyree is absolutely wonderful! She takes such great care of our baby and is always reliable and thoughtful. She makes sure our pup gets a good walk in and sends a helpful update afterward, which we really appreciate. We trust her completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable sitter!”

“Darwin is incredibly reliable, and they work very well with our pup Sage. We have been able to rest easy during the work day (and check our pet camera less!), because we know Sage is in good hands with Darwin. They have even taken some time during our booking to reinforce training with Sage!”

About: We recently lost our 5 year old Golden Retriever, Winston to cancer. We are truly heartbroken and miss taking care of him so much. We aren't quite ready to get another dog of our own, so we'd love to give yours all the love while you are away or if they need a walk during the day! Our home is dog friendly, we live right next to walking trails and a dog park. Both of us grew up with dogs. Small dogs, or large dogs we love them all! <3 We alternate the days we work from home so there would always be someone home with your dog. We love morning walks, lunch walks, or even evening walks! Our home is kept very tidy. There is nothing your dog could get into if they do not like the crate - ours never was in a crate! But if a crate is there safe space, we understand.
About: Ever since I was young, I have been an animal lover. I grew up with a dog, and was always knocking on my neighbors door to walk their dogs/play with their dogs. I would over night sit with them when my neighbors were out of town. I have taken care of all types of dogs, from little Chihuahuas to Labs. I have also taken care of puppies and older dogs. I have a 6 month old puppy so if you did a drop off our pups can play together. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and would be available Saturdays and Sundays to watch your pup. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and would be available Saturdays and Sundays to watch your pup. You can drop your pup off at my place or happy to come to yours. I will always keep your dog on a leash, unless there is a fenced in yard. I will follow your animals needs and will provide them with great care.
“Dafflyn has been great with Granger. She’s helped me during long work days and had great communication. I can tell when I get home that my pup has been well cared for. Highly suggest!”

“Emily was so great with our pup. She’s professional and loving with our dog. She’s thoughtful in her communication about our dog, sharing anecdotes and pictures about her time with our pup.”

About: I have been a veterinary technician since 2009 and wouldn't trade it for anything. I work at an animal hospital 5 blocks away from home, so medical care is always close by if needed. I grew up on a little horse farm and always had animals of all sorts, especially dogs. Though Rob didn't grow up with pets, he now wants to bring in any animal that needs a home. Monday and Tuesday we are both in the office, but everyone is still able to be let out every 4 hours. The other days there is usually someone home most of the day. We recently had, what we like to refer to as, a senior center for elderly cats and dogs. But they have all passed and we now have 2 young large dogs, Gramps and Nana. Small senior dogs have our hearts, and we are more than well trained to care for them. Dont let our dogs size deter you, because they are their favorites too. We typically only take on one family at a time. If there are multiple requests for the same dates we will check with both families and meet the dogs before we consider taking them both on. All dogs are family in our house. They get all the same snuggles and get to sleep in the bed if they normally do. I know I love to get picture updates when my dogs are at the sitters, so I like to do the same. If you're dog is unsure about being around our pets, we do have a lot of space and they can have their own room (our dogs are our kids). Taking care of pets is my job. So if you're pet needs medications, injections, fluids, etc. I am happy to do it. We are available for pet care in our home 7 days a week. If you are needing care in your home that will be on a case by case basis of availability. We supervise everyone while they are outside and have 2 separate fenced in yards. One of the yards is larger and contains an in ground pool. They are only allowed in that yard supervised and if you are comfortable with it. If that's the case, we do like to know ahead of time if you're dog likes to swim. If they do enjoy swimming I am happy to clean their ears afterwards so they don't get those pesky ear infections. We have XL and small crates if your dog needs to be crated at night or when we leave. I also have cameras on them to keep an eye out when we are out of the house. Two days a week we are both at the office. I am able to come home during lunch and let everyone out, then Rob comes home a few hours later. Otherwise someone is usually always home. Everyone usually only stays on the main level of the house, except when spending the day working with Rob they can be in a gated area downstairs. There are also about 4 steps to get in and out of the potty yard. This works well for most dogs, but we do carry our seniors.
About: I’ve owned a number of well-trained dogs over the years and all of my friends always comment about how much animals love me! I take care of a number of friends/ acquaintances pets while they are away. I teach full time so I work until 5:30 Monday-Friday but I’m off the clock any time other than that! I’m also able to potty during break. I house/ pet sitting for a number of people in my personal life so I’m accustomed to adapting to whatever lifestyle your pet may need!
“Kiirsten was absolutely amazing with our process! She was kind, attentive, and made sure she got plenty of exercise and love. We received updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“Ri has been walking my dog twice a week for a month now and has been reliable, communicative, respectful and responsible. I can tell my dog loves her from the pictures she sends. Ri has made my life easier as a result.”

Saint Louis Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
New user to Rover here… I needed a last minute dog walker for my 4 month old puppy for a couple of days while I was working the evening shift and Payton was amazing! I’m very cautious about who I trust to come into my home and care for my dog, especially since he’s still a puppy, and she immediately put me at ease. She was flexible, reliable, communicative, and handled my little guy with so much care. The best part was that she sent me pictures of him while I was at work, which I really appreciated. When I came home, he was happy and calm. I felt completely confident leaving him in her hands. Highly recommend for anyone in a pinch or just in general!!

Amanda has been absolutely wonderful with Fetti. She is incredibly patient and gives her so much love and positive attention—along with plenty of treats! At the same time, Amanda sets clear boundaries and confidently lets Fetti know who’s in charge, which has been so good for her. It’s such a relief knowing Fetti is cared for by someone who balances affection with leadership. Highly recommend!

Taylor took such wonderful care of Ika! From the moment we met, I could tell she truly loves animals. She kept me updated with messages and photos, and it was clear that Ika was happy, relaxed, and well loved. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind Taylor gave me — I can’t recommend her enough!

Simply amazing. Christian went above and beyond for our anxious, high drive dog. He took extra time to get to know our dog and understand why he does some of the things he does. I knew Cedar was in good hands while Christian was walking him. We also got lots of videos and pictures of their time together. 100% recommend Christian!

I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter to take care of my dog Cooper, who’s a 10.5 year old, 60 lb Belgian Malinois. She’s a great communicator and a kind person. I’m moving from Minneapolis this week and will consider myself lucky to find someone who meets the standard of care she’s provided. If you have an opportunity to book with her, rest assured you’re making a great move for the care of your pet.
