“Steve was wonderful with Mac over the past few weeks. He took excellent care of him and paid close attention to Mac’s cues, helping him feel safe and happy during their walks. Mac was always happy to see Steve at the door—a sure sign he was having a fun time. Thanks again, Steve! :)”

“Cherie was amazing while caring for/walking my dear Abuelo. He has since transitioned above. Cherie accommodated my crazy work schedule which was a huge help! Always a great communicator & updated me when needed. Cherie will always be considered a member of Abuelos Village who cared for him. Thankful we met. Blessing to all the future fur babies 🐾”

About: Our family simply adores dogs. I personally have owned a dog for the majority of my life and have raised two puppies. My kids (14 and 12 y.o.) love dogs and dogs love them too. We have a very spacious fenced yard and my kids love playing with dogs and keeping them active in our backyard. We also take dogs for nightly walks. Our 7-year old (29 lbs) cockapoo Lily does great with dogs of her size or smaller, also with dogs that have moderate energy. She does not seem to feel comfortable with high energy dogs and also with dogs that are significantly bigger than her (hence we don't host dogs over 40 lbs). We don't crate (unless your pooch prefers it) and our guest dogs will sleep with us in bed (if they want). Your furry child will feel right at home with us as we will shower him/her with love and LOTS of cuddles and will treat him/her as part of our family 🐾❤️ I work mostly from home so I'm usually available to spend time with your dog giving them the love and attention they need. We currently have a dog of our own ( 7 y.o. cockapoo) who we care for daily. She is a very friendly dog. We have a fenced back yard and one dog of our own to keep your dog company. We also walk our dog on daily basis to give her extra exercise. My 14 and 12-year old kids love playing with the dogs.
About: I’m a full-time pet caregiver with more than 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, fish, and other small pets. I’ve also been actively involved in animal rescue and fostering since 2021. One of my most meaningful experiences was fostering a blind and deaf senior Chihuahua with Cushing’s disease in hospice care for over a year. This strengthened my ability to provide patient, individualized care for senior, anxious, special-needs, and medically complex pets. I’m also comfortable following detailed instructions and administering oral medications. My experience includes dog walking, drop-in visits, boarding, and overnight house sitting. I prioritize maintaining each pet’s normal routine while providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship. You’ll receive thoughtful photos, detailed updates, and prompt communication throughout your pet’s care. Multi-pet families are especially welcome! I keep my sibling rates affordable so pets from the same household can remain together without the cost multiplying for each pet. For added peace of mind, every service booked and paid for through Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes 24/7 support and up to $25,000 in veterinary care reimbursement for eligible claims. Pet care is my full-time work, so my daily schedule is organized around the pets in my care. I offer flexible availability throughout the day and week, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and many holidays. This allows me to accommodate established routines, recurring services, and last-minute requests when availability permits. I plan travel time carefully between bookings and avoid overbooking so each pet receives their full scheduled time and attention. I begin each booking by reviewing the pet’s routine, behavior, triggers, health needs, and emergency information. I double-check doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes before transitions, keep dogs leashed outdoors unless safely contained in an approved area, and monitor the weather to ensure outdoor activities remain safe. I have experience with crates and crate training and am comfortable following an established crating routine when needed. I can also safely manage designated areas of the home using baby gates, closed doors, playpens, or other barriers according to the pet parent’s instructions. This can be helpful for maintaining boundaries, separating pets during meals, or providing each pet with a comfortable space. My goal is always to provide as much safe, supervised time outside confined areas as possible, with plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment. In a client’s home, I follow all access and security instructions, maintain the pet’s familiar environment, and leave the home clean and securely locked. Meet-and-greets are welcome so we can review care instructions and ensure everyone feels comfortable before the booking.
About: Hi! I’m Steph — a full-time pet caregiver through Rover and the heart behind a growing pet photography business. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13 and have experience with all kinds of animals, from high-energy pups to quiet companions. I share my life with my dog Scooby, who’s a big lovebug and gets along great with both people and other animals, and two leopard geckos, Helios and Haku, who each have their own little quirks and charm. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have hands-on experience with pet nutrition and wellness—I've worked with a variety of healthy foods, natural supplements, and holistic care routines. I’m great at picking up on subtle signs when something’s off and take pet health seriously. Whether we’re playing fetch, going for a walk, or just snuggling on the couch, I’m all about creating a calm, loving environment where your pet feels safe and cared for. I tailor my care to each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always follow your instructions to a T—because your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s happiness. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels loved, understood, and completely at ease while you’re away. I am very flexible with my schedule so please feel free to send me a request or a direct message to sent up an appointment! I have worked with certified fear free trainers as well as being a groomer for 3 years now I am very aware of animal body language and how to meet their needs so they feel safe in their environment. I do have a dachshund mix named Scooby that is incredibly friendly with Small to XL dogs. She’s always up for having a play date!
About: I've lived on a homestead taking care of farm animals including dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens, and much more! My parents bred and trained AKC Labradors and Beagles for wild game hunting. I became a farm hand for a local barn in New Hampshire at the age of 14. Once I was 16 I started overnight caretaking for horses, dogs, and cats. I have experience training puppies and rescue dogs with my parents. I also own amphibians and non conventional pets so I'm familiar with exotic caretaking. I'm currently dog sitting/walking/feedings fulltime. I'll have plenty of time during the day to play with your pets and take them outside for potty breaks. I live in apartment that does not allow cats or dogs so any pet sitting will have to be done at your home. I have my own private insurance alongside Rover Garantee. I will need a full tour of your yard if it's fenced, to make sure there aren't any means of escaping. A full detailed care sheet that includes the pet's schedule, behavioral concerns (a must), vitamins or medications schedule, prefered place to walk or run (typical place you go to help understand your pet's public behavior and help form trust with them. I will always learn your pet's behavior in a controlled and comfortable environment first. Then if you approve, we can eventually go on hikes. The more detail I have about your pet, the better their transition will be in my care. Trust and Safety is my top priority when caring for a family member that can't speak.
“Dave was great!!! He was ready to step in and take care and take Oliver on a couple walks each day who is a 7 month old puppy that is super energetic and loving and thankfully persuaded with treats!!! We appreciated Dave’s help and will absolutely be booking with him again!”

“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! About: Hello👋🏽I’m a passionate dog lover and pet stylist at a doggie daycare, with 6+ years of experience leading playgroups and 3 years as a professional groomer. I’ve developed a deep understanding of dog behavior, body language, and individual needs.🐾 I currently have the sweetest babies, a 12 year old lab and 2 laid back cats. Tricia was fantastic! She confirmed ahead of time, arrived on time on a snowy day, walked a little extra, and sent me great photos and feedback afterward. My dog had a great time and came home happy and relaxed. She’s a great communicator and clearly a dog lover. I’d happily book her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
