“I've found my home away from home for my little buddy Bailey! He absolutely loved his time with Jana and the family. Jana is outstanding and very contentious. I'm always a little nervous leaving my little dude but now that I found Jana I have no worries. I would recommend her highly to anyone that has a little fur buddy.”

“William took care of our Mini Schnauzer for 11 days while we were at a national conference. He sent daily photos and words about our dog. This was a daily refresher for us knowing our dog was in good hands. Communicating with William was superb!”

“Amazing Care for Our High-Energy Doodle Puppy! We couldn't have been happier with the care Jeremiah provided for our energetic doodle puppy during his three-day stay. Finding someone who can handle a young, high-energy dog is crucial, and Jeremiah exceeded all our expectations. Their home is incredibly clean and nice, and the fenced backyard was perfect for our puppy to burn off steam safely. It was a huge bonus that they have their own sweet doodle—our guy had an absolute blast making a new friend and getting constant companionship! Communication was prompt and reassuring. We received updates and very cute pictures via text throughout the stay, which made us feel completely at ease. They took him on multiple walks and ensured he received excellent care and attention the entire time. Overall, our puppy truly enjoyed his stay, and we are totally satisfied. We will absolutely be repeat customers and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and fun home for their dog!”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for Emily! I booked her last minute, and she went above and beyond in every way. She walked my dog daily, sent tons of updates and photos, and truly treated my dog like her own. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in such caring hands. I will absolutely be booking with her again—anyone would be lucky to have Emily watch their dogs!”

“Valerie was amazing! She is so kind and sent us many updates. It was so reassuring since this was our first time using Rover. Our dog had such a great time and we will definitely book again in the future!”

“Frank and Clarissa were amazing. They sent us pictures, let us know how our dog was doing and kept us at ease. Our dog can be a little shy when he first meets people and they made him feel like part of their family. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog Rio had a BLAST with Rachelle and Dan. They were very detailed oriented when it came to Rio’s special needs. They also sent the perfect amount of updates and pictures throughout the stay. Definitely will book again!”

“Howie was great with Hazel and was incredibly gentle with her from meet and greet to the final day. He was really good with updates and was diligent about responding to my questions. I would leave Hazel with him again!”

“can't say enough about the care that my dog Moose got from KiirstenC while I traveled over the holiday. ! It was our first experience with Rover. Moose was well fed, played with, snuggled, and truly loved by Kiirstenn and her family. She sent me texts and pictures while I was gone updating me on his activities. Moose is a Shih Tzu, Kiirsten's dog is also a Shih Tzu. She gets us! I can honestly say that I did not worry about Moose all the while I was gone. I would call upon Kiirsten to leave Moose with whenever I need to travel again, knowing he is loved and well taken care of when I cant be with him.”

“Kelly and Zac were AMAZING hosts to our pup Kona. We’ve only ever had family watch our Kona, so we were a little nervous to try something new. We had nothing to fear. Kelly and Zach made Kona feel right at home. They sent daily updates, took her on walks, and gave her all the love! Highly recommend :)”

“Jillian and her children gave our dog such wonderful loving care! Confidently received her and helped her transition immediately, observant and asked good questions to be sure her needs were being met. Highly recommend this family!?”

“Loki had a great time with Daisy. I got pictures and updates daily and it looked like he was having fun with the other dogs she was boarding, and playing fetch. Daisy was flexible with dropoff and pickup times providing a little extra peace of mind in case of flight delays getting back.”

“Absolutely stellar experience with boarding my dog! I could tell immediately by the questions that were asked before the stay that Hyeyoon was going to take great care of my dog. I got regular updates while I was on vacation and always got prompt responses when arranging pick up. Highly recommend!”

“Promise took great care of my dog, he made friends with her dogs, and he looked great when we picked him up him up. Would definitely recommend her, and bring him back again!”

“We were so grateful that Brad was able to take Nika for couple of days once again! This time Nika had a little bit of a health issue but Brad handled everything perfectly and promptly took her to the vet and kept us posted the whole time, and she started feeling better basically the same day so we came back to a happy healthy puppy and she was excited to go back home but also sad to leave her favorite friend Brad. :)”

“Our dog had a wonderful time with Taylor and her husband! Taylor sent daily photos of his playtime and nap time. This is the first time that we have used Rover and were impressed with how easy it was to find the right home for boarding while we were on vacation, with the “Meet and Greet “ being the best way to decide. We will definitely use Taylor again— she was flexible and clearly caring for our pup!”

“Very reliable. Extremely pleasant do work with. I am calling her, “The Cat Whisperer!” Our cat, Marty, is very shy and never comes out for strangers. He doesn’t trust easily. But he sure trusted Heidi. She was patient, intuitive and clever! He not only came out for her, he followed her wherever she went. It was such a treat to get gorgeous pictures and fun videos of Marty while we were gone for the first time ever. He will miss Heidi.”

“Patricia provided excellent care to our two kitties while we were away on a trip. Her daily check-in messages included such thoughtful details and pictures that made it evident our kitties felt extremely comfortable with her and were having a blast. This helped us enjoy our time away knowing they were being so well cared for. Our one kitty had a last minute dietary change prior to our trip, which Patricia handled with great competence and care. We definitely recommend Patricia!!”

“We were very happy with the care that our kitties received from Kate. Each afternoon we would receive a report and pictures of our sweet kitties. We enjoyed our vacation and never worried about them. We will use Kate again!”

About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

“Brynn took good care of my cat while I was away. She made sure the litter box was cleaned and gave my cat more food & fresh water. She couldn’t brush my cat though since she was hiding under my bed. Thanks Brynn!”

“Pat was flexible with some unforeseen changes and willing to help out if she could. Good communication, even crawled next to the bed where one of my cats was hiding to give her some love. My other cat wasn't as shy and Pat gave her lots of love and belly rubs.”

“Ana helped us over Christmas and we couldn’t be more grateful. She was absolutely lovely to work with and was so kind to our cat. Took care of everything and we will hope to see her again soon!”

“Kristin sent pictures and updates when she checked in our cats. She did a great job and we definitely recommend if you need a sitter. Thank you again for checking in our cats!”

About: I’ve taken care of many cats for the past five years. Whether that be one shy cat, a group of playful cats, or one very spoiled lady (I can handle even the most complex of dinner orders), I want to give your cat the attention and care it deserves.

About: While I’ve watched more dogs than cats, I still love any furry friend! Volunteering at the Humane Society has helped me understand what all animals, including cats need to be healthy and thriving. Caring for your cat could include any socialization time, cleaning up the litter box, or anything else your pet may need!

“I have used Amanda for 2 separate visits and have her booked for a 3rd. Loved using this service as opposed to boarding. My cat was far more comfortable left in my home. Thanks much!”

“Leah was absolutely awesome with my cats! She shared pictures every day, and I could tell how well they were adjusting to having her come in. She fed them, changed their water, scooped litter - everything that needed to be done (even cleaning up after them when they opened up cupboards and pulled out food to eat!). I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Our dog always leaves happy from her stays with Jeremiah and his family which gives us great peace of mind. He has been so flexible and has had great communication with us on the many days we’ve had our Husky stay for doggy day-care. I highly recommend Jeremiah!”

About: I've been caring for others pets since I was 10yo. Prissy & Ginger (a Boston Terrier & a Pug) were my first loves as I would walk my neighbors dogs for companionship when I could not have my own. As an adult, I still pet-sit for friends, most frequently a 5yo Tamaskan when his owner travels. I was a part-time vet-tech in college and work in a (human) clinic as an adult, so I understand special needs, different medications, and the roll of compassion for all conditions. I work out of the home all week, so can accomodate unique schedule needs. My home has 3 areas that a pet can be isolated from others, if needed. I also have a large (unfenced) yard for endless roaming and sniffing, and a 2nd story deck overlooking my back acre for fun and safe wildlife viewing for leisurely sunny afternoons. I'm around my home most times while I work out of the home. Unique schedules can be easily managed, and special dietary or medical needs tended to. When I have appointments, dogs are welcome with if they love car rides - I have a special back compartment in my SUV with windows on 3 sides to catch all the sites! In boarding other peoples pets, I do my best to keep their usual routine to maximize their comfort and minimize stress while mom/dad are away. I have several spaces that can be closed off for isolation if needed for care, sleeping or feeding separately, or they can have the whole house to roam, if that is their preference. I have 2 leashes/tethers (40' or 20') to explore the yard and a box full of toys for chewing, pulling, fetching as needed - or bring your own favorite toys, we'll play with those! If limiting space is ideal, I have a baby gate - we can segregate off the lower level, upper level, kitchen, bedrooms only or whatever configuration works best.

“Joe was amazing! My dog, Chocolate Chip, loved him and his sweet dog Henry. Joe gave me so many great tips as a first-time dog owner and was incredibly accommodating with my work schedule. I felt completely at ease knowing Chip was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with Joe again soon!”

“Sandy was able to petsit our dog Kori on short notice & I am very thankful that she was available. Kori was well-cared for and able to play with her dogs as well, overall a fun experience for him. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a child. I was raised around dogs, cats, and horses, and have always had pets of my own. I’ve worked with both large and small animals and also studied animal science, which helps me understand their behavior and needs. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and genuine love for animals. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s routine and personality, and I’m comfortable caring for senior pets who may need extra time, gentleness, and consistency. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and keep communication clear with regular updates and photos so you always feel at ease. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most of the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, care, and companionship. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding times, playtime, and any special needs. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I make sure pets are never left alone for long periods. Walks, check-ins, and quality time are part of my everyday life. I provide a calm, safe, and clean environment for every pet. I have a fenced backyard for secure outdoor time (for dogs), and inside my home is quiet and pet-friendly. For cats, I make sure they have a stress-free space, clean litter boxes, and a consistent routine. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I’m very reliable and communicative, sending regular updates and photos so you feel at ease. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and truly cared for.

“Brad was wonderful with our pup! He sent photos of activities throughout the day, from a visit to Home Depot to a romp at the dog park. It was muddy outside, and he took the time to rinse off our pup’s paws afterwards, which other daycares/sitters largely don’t do. Thanks, Brad!”
“Dixie came home a happy dog. Nicole (with her dog Stella) gave our 1 year old puppy a safe and fun place to play and a comfortable place to rest. We couldn’t ask for more.”

“Sonja and Adam did an awesome job with my dog on his first day of daycare! He definitely had a blast and I loved the pictures of all his activities. I appreciate how thoughtful and communicative they are and I can’t wait to bring him back!”

“My puppy LOVES Meggie. He is always SO excited to go to her house, he runs up the stairs and straight to Meggie's arms. She always keeps me updated with texts and pictures. Meggie messages/texts me back almost instantly. She's extremely responsive and you can tell she really enjoys her time with dogs. I know that she really takes care of my pup, watches him and plays and snuggles. Attentiveness is key and I am so happy that Meggie really has gotten to know my dog and really cares about him! She's also very flexible with days/times. Honestly she was the perfect fit for our new puppy. I couldn't recommend her more!”

About: In addition to owning cats and dogs my whole life, I work at an emergency vet clinic. I love all animals and can't wait to meet yours :) I work full-time at a veterinary hospital while preparing for veterinary school. On my days off, I am available for drop-in visits as well :) I unfortunately can't take any additional pets into my home, but I love to meet pets at their level. Sitting on the floor with a dog is one of life's true delights.
About: If you’re looking for someone dependable to drop in on your pup or take them out for some fresh air and exercise, I am here to help! Working from home gives me the unique ability to step away and dedicate my full attention to walking, check-in services, and boarding for your furry family members. Dogs have been the center of my family's world since we got our first puppy 25 years ago. After our beloved 14-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback passed away in January 2026, we realized just how much we missed the routine of caring for a dog. I love interacting with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Through fostering numerous puppies, I have mastered the art of leash training and high-energy play. Furthermore, because our own dog was deaf and lived to a ripe old age, we are uniquely equipped to provide gentle, specialized care for elderly or disabled dogs during drop-ins, walks, and some boarding. I promise to bring peace of mind with plenty of updates and love! Working from home full-time Monday through Friday gives me incredible flexibility throughout the week. Because my desk is just a few steps away, I am able to seamlessly structure my day around your dog's needs—taking regular, dedicated breaks to provide refreshing neighborhood walks, interactive playtime, and frequent outdoor potty rests. Your pup will enjoy consistent companionship and routine care without me ever having to leave the house for an office commute. I live in a rambler with a walk-out basement and a large yard. We live near a couple of parks, and I love taking the dogs for walks.
About: Our family simply adores dogs. I personally have owned a dog for the majority of my life and have raised two puppies. My kids (13 and 11 y.o.) love dogs and dogs love them too. We have a very spacious fenced yard and my kids love playing with dogs and keeping them active in our backyard. We also take dogs for nightly walks. Our 6-year old (29lbs) cockapoo does great with dogs of her size or smaller, also with dogs that have moderate energy. She does not seem to feel too comfortable with high energy dogs and that are significantly bigger than her. We don't crate (unless your pooch prefers it) and our guest dogs will sleep with us in bed (if they want). Your furry child will feel right at home with us as we will shower him/her with love and LOTS of cuddles and will treat him/her as part of our family 🐾❤️ I work mostly from home so I'm usually available to spend time with your dog giving them the love and attention they need. We currently have a dog of our own ( 6 y.o. cockapoo) who we care for daily. She is a very friendly dog. We have a fenced back yard and one dog of our own to keep your dog company. We also walk our dog on daily basis to give her extra exercise. My 13 and 11-year old kids love playing with the dogs.

About: I have a rescue, reactive dog that has been well trained and can now meet just about anyone with the right treats and setting! I love and care for animals and volunteer at the humane society. This has taught me many strategies in order to allow dogs to feel comfortable with me when I visit or walk them. I’ve watched and cared for pets previously and absolutely love spending time outdoors with them. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from a small 10 pounds to a large 110 pound. I know that your animals are your babies, just as mine is to me! I strive to always give great care, love and attention to each and every animal I meet. I’m comfortable using different types of leashes, or leads- whatever your dog is comfortable with! I’m a teacher, but during the summer I am much more available! I have most days open to dog walking/playing as I will not be going into work daily. I make sure to meet the dog and owners before caring for them or taking them out of the home. I get to know the dog’s demeanor, mannerisms and personality to ensure I’m completely comfortable with the dog and them with me! I also like to get to know the route that the dog prefers to keep consistency. I also like to learn what the owners would like for their pets. Anything from medication, food, walking or just some time to hang out- I love to spend time with your dog and show them love.
“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! I will definitely be using Kayla again on my next work trip!”

About: I’ve been taking care of different animals for some years. I have always been a reliable call to come and check up on cats, or take care of pups while owners were away. Being sure to give them lots of love and give them the opportunity to use their energy. It is important to me that pets still have their routine and comfortability as they did before. So keeping up with their usual schedule is a way for them to still feel at home, or safe while their owners are away. I’m available week days after 5 and weekends after 1 pm. I am around and have a flexible schedule to work around if need be! I’m happy to take the time caring for your pets! I’ve visited homes to take care of pets and always made sure to only focus on their fur baby. Coming over to give attention to the dog or cat. Being sure to welcome with a friendly face and smile and if challenges arise, I am patient and willing to work with your pet until their feel comfortable enough to comply.

About: I have run a dog walking/sitting business since 2019 and have just now moved onto Rover to expand my clientele. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and many a “problem” dog. Whether your dog is easy and uncomplicated or difficult on a leash, around other dogs, et cetera, I can help. I am six feet tall so can handle even the biggest of dogs. Your pets deserve excellent care, so any length walk and up to three visits per day works for me! Whatever you need, let me know and we’ll work it out. I am home for the summer and able to take care of your pet any time of day from 8am-8pm (later or earlier start time needed? Just ask!). I can stop by three times a day for walks, check ins, play time, whatever is needed. My goal as a pet sitter is to keep your pet company and feeling cared for while you’re gone. My check ins are never shorter than a half an hour and typically more than that for love and pets or playtime. If your dog needs to be crated, I typically come later in the evening and earlier in the morning to minimize crate time and maximize walking time. I am fit for walking any distance, so your high energy dogs can have a good hour long stroll if you need!
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was little. I grew up always having a dog in the house, and pet sitting for neighbors' dogs and cats. I also have some experience in a small animal clinic, as well as caring for my sisters dog when she is away. I am a full-time student at CSU, but I have time in between classes, and they generally end around 2-3. My evenings are more open and I am flexible to fit to the needs of the animal. I am very comfortable with dogs and am good at reading body language. I am comfortable distributing meds, food , water, etc. I am willing to have dogs in my car if we were to go to a park, etc.
About: My husband and I grew up with dogs our whole lives and we owned a small dog for 15 years. We are often one our neighbors and relatives call when they need a pet sitter. We are excited to meet new dogs and families and offer pet care. Our home is warm and welcoming and we like to give pets a lot of attention. We feel they are a part of our family when they are with us. You will receive pictures and regular updates while your dog is with us, so you can be reassured your pets are having a wonderful vacation too. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members! My husband works from home. I work from home at times and we have two older kids who are often home to help too. We are never away for more than 4 hours at a time. We follow the owner’s preferences. We will use leashes, harnesses, etc. when on walks. We will administer medications as needed. Dogs can sleep in our beds.
About: While I don’t have formal pet care or training experience, I care for my family’s dog, Moxie, every day alongside my siblings. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure he stays happy, active, and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I understand every pet has different needs and routines. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to following your instructions closely so your pet receives the same care and consistency they’re used to at home. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply having company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ve also cared for small pets in the past and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. I’m currently a college student and work part-time during the summer, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. My work schedule varies from week to week, but because I work part-time, I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits, walks, and quality time with your pets. I typically know my schedule in advance and do my best to accommodate pet care requests whenever possible. I’m also usually available on weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I’ve always been an animal lover….I’m usually the one in the corner spending more time with the pets than the people at family gatherings! In fact, I even made a PowerPoint presentation to convince my family to get our goldendoodle, Moxie. My priority is making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and needs, follow instructions carefully, and provide consistent, reliable care. Whether I’m stopping by for a visit or taking your dog on a walk, I’ll treat them like my own, with patience, attention, playtime, and affection. I also respect my clients’ homes and will care for your pet and belongings responsibly while you’re away.
About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. I currently work from home in a corporate position. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend some of it taking care of animals. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. It is very important to me that the client feels safe entrusting me to stay in their home and take care of their pets.
About: Hi! I’m Jackie, an avid animal lover, and owner, who would love to help anyone that is looking for a little extra pet-help with overnight boarding or ongoing daycare needs. I have grown up with Rottweilers my entire life, and currently own a Newfoundland named Pepper and two cats named Cookie and HotDog, who think they are dogs themselves! I have raised all of my pets since the time they were tiny babies so I have ample experience across all age ranges. My fur babies are family, and I would treat your fur babies as family too! Xo Jackie I currently work from home with a flexible schedule that can accommodate a range of personality and/or exercise needs. I also have my own dog who can help provide socialization and company! I would treat your pet as family! Your pet would have full (safe) access to all living areas in the home as well as our fully fenced in backyard as needed.

About: Hi! I’m Chloe. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve been helping care for neighbors’ pets since I was little, so looking after animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m patient and attentive, and I make sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved as if they were my own. I’m currently working full time and am remote on Fridays. My work hours are flexible so I am usually gone 7-3:30 and can come let pets out on my lunch at 12 Monday-Thursday. I make sure to plan my days around their needs. Whether it’s feeding, walks, or playtime, I’m flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to keep pets comfortable and cared for. I offer pet sitting, walking and more. I always take my time to learn each pet’s routine, comfort level, and any special instructions. In your home, I follow your rules closely, keep things clean, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed. I stay attentive, double-check doors, leashes, and feeding details, and give pets the same calm, dependable care I’d want for my own.

I highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter. Your pets will be loved and cared for just like family!”
