About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

About: I've been caring for others pets since I was 10yo. Prissy & Ginger (a Boston Terrier & a Pug) were my first loves as I would walk my neighbors dogs for companionship when I could not have my own. As an adult, I still pet-sit for friends, most frequently a 5yo Tamaskan when his owner travels. I was a part-time vet-tech in college and work in a (human) clinic as an adult, so I understand special needs, different medications, and the roll of compassion for all conditions. I work out of the home all week, so can accomodate unique schedule needs. My home has 3 areas that a pet can be isolated from others, if needed. I also have a large (unfenced) yard for endless roaming and sniffing, and a 2nd story deck overlooking my back acre for fun and safe wildlife viewing for leisurely sunny afternoons. I'm around my home most times while I work out of the home. Unique schedules can be easily managed, and special dietary or medical needs tended to. When I have appointments, dogs are welcome with if they love car rides - I have a special back compartment in my SUV with windows on 3 sides to catch all the sites! In boarding other peoples pets, I do my best to keep their usual routine to maximize their comfort and minimize stress while mom/dad are away. I have several spaces that can be closed off for isolation if needed for care, sleeping or feeding separately, or they can have the whole house to roam, if that is their preference. I have 2 leashes/tethers (40' or 20') to explore the yard and a box full of toys for chewing, pulling, fetching as needed - or bring your own favorite toys, we'll play with those! If limiting space is ideal, I have a baby gate - we can segregate off the lower level, upper level, kitchen, bedrooms only or whatever configuration works best.

Our 6-year old (29lbs) cockapoo does great with dogs of her size or smaller, also with dogs that have moderate energy. She does not seem to feel too comfortable with high energy dogs and that are significantly bigger than her. We don't crate (unless your pooch prefers it) and our guest dogs will sleep with us in bed (if they want). Your furry child will feel right at home with us as we will shower him/her with love and LOTS of cuddles and will treat him/her as part of our family 🐾❤️ I work mostly from home so I'm usually available to spend time with your dog giving them the love and attention they need. We currently have a dog of our own ( 6 y.o. cockapoo) who we care for daily. She is a very friendly dog. We have a fenced back yard and one dog of our own to keep your dog company. We also walk our dog on daily basis to give her extra exercise. My 13 and 11-year old kids love playing with the dogs.

About: I have a rescue, reactive dog that has been well trained and can now meet just about anyone with the right treats and setting! I love and care for animals and volunteer at the humane society. My check ins are never shorter than a half an hour and typically more than that for love and pets or playtime. If your dog needs to be crated, I typically come later in the evening and earlier in the morning to minimize crate time and maximize walking time. I am fit for walking any distance, so your high energy dogs can have a good hour long stroll if you need!
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was little. I grew up always having a dog in the house, and pet sitting for neighbors' dogs and cats. I also have some experience in a small animal clinic, as well as caring for my sisters dog when she is away. I am a full-time student at CSU, but I have time in between classes, and they generally end around 2-3. My evenings are more open and I am flexible to fit to the needs of the animal.
