I always follow the owner’s instructions closely—every pet is different, and I do my best to stick to their usual routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, medications, or just extra snuggles. About: I have had dogs around all my life. We have had the pets of many friends overnight over the course of the past 10 years. We love pets and will love your like our own while you are away. My wife and I work full time from home. We love to take walks during the day at all times of the year. We also have a 14 year old son and 10 year old daughter who will give lots of love. We have a large house with 2 active kids to keep your pets company. Our neighborhood has many friendly dogs and access to paths for walking.

About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. I currently work from home in a corporate position. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend some of it taking care of animals. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. It is very important to me that the client feels safe entrusting me to stay in their home and take care of their pets.

I also have firsthand experience caring for dogs with medical needs, as my former dog had epilepsy, so I understand the importance of closely following medication schedules, recognizing changes in behavior, and staying calm when a pet needs extra care. I’ve cared for dogs at all stages of life, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I’m comfortable with breeds that may need more individualized attention, including French Bulldogs and Italian Greyhounds. Above all, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I’m attentive to instructions and routines and will make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full time but live just 6 minutes from my office, so I’m often able to come home over lunch. My husband works flexible hours as a realtor and is home during the day as well, so your pet will have consistent care and company throughout the day. I typically leave for work around 7:00–7:15 AM and am home by 4:30 PM at the latest. We’re happy to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and walks throughout the day, depending on their individual routine and needs. We have a fully fenced-in yard and live in a very walkable, dog-friendly neighborhood, making it easy to provide both outdoor playtime and regular walks. I’m happy to care for dogs in our home or in their own home, depending on what makes them most comfortable. I’m also available for dog walking and can tailor walks to each dog’s age, energy level, and routine. Our toddler has grown up around dogs—she’s had two dogs at home and two at daycare—so she absolutely loves them and is very comfortable around dogs. We currently don’t have any pets of our own, which means we can give your dog lots of one-on-one attention. We want every dog in our care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included as part of the family while they’re with us.

Things like daily enrichment, supervision, and providing a safe environment are my top priority. Fun fact: I watched my cousin's flying squirrel once as a kid!
