“Autumn was super reliable with her check-ins. Upon returning, our cats were happy, healthy and didn't seem to have missed us at all. I especially loved getting the Rover card with a short summary and photos for every visit. Will definitely book Autumn again!”

“Jan was amazing! She did exactly what I asked and communicated daily with me, through the app and text on her visit; what she did while there, how the cats were doing, etc. She also sent pictures of the cats each day. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a pet sitter!”

“Caroline did an excellent job taken care of my cats, she followed my instructions perfectly, and gave me daily updates, and even checked in with me after I got home. I will definitely rehire her as I know my cats are in good care.”

About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of various dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog, and now have taken care of numerous dogs in the year I’ve been on Rover. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings? Last minute? No problem. I think of pets as family, and will treat your pet like my family. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!) As a horseback rider, I find the skills of working with our animal friends transfer easily. Regardless of species, they enjoy human attention/affection, engagement and are often much smarter than we give them credit for.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been a dedicated dog owner for over 8 years. For the past 3 years, I’ve also fostered pups, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments and styles. I’m comfortable with everything from high energy personalities to shy or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs (my last pup was 18!), puppies and everything in between. At this time, I’m focusing on small and medium sized dogs so they will be the best match for my own dog and I can provide the best care possible. I work full time from home and am available to board in my house anytime for most lengths of time. Lots of time to play with your pup! Right now, I’m open to hosting small and medium pups—as they are the best matches for my own dog. My dog, Elliot, loves to go for walks (weather permitting) and we’d love for your pup to tag along! If the weather is bad, my yard is perfect for zoomies, ball/toy chasing, neighbor watching and basking in the sun. I have my own small pup who is energetic and loves to play, but isn’t pushy. I work from home so we are together all the time! We walk often—in the morning, at lunch and in evenings. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks with lots of toys and enrichment. I am home most of the time, but would contain (kennel or pen if needed) when I leave and I’m also open to pups that aren’t kenneled but safe to leave out (I’d put away my own dog).
“Kayla does such a good job with our cat, Sammy. We’ve used her a couple times now and she is always very responsive. We can tell by the photos that Sammy enjoys hanging out with her. She’s the definition of a 5 star pet sitter!”

About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. I currently work from home in a corporate position. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend some of it taking care of animals. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. It is very important to me that the client feels safe entrusting me to stay in their home and take care of their pets.
“Tori took great care of our cat for 5 days and I wouldn’t hesitate to have her back to take care of Mr T again. I appreciated receiving photos while I was away. Tori is great to work with!”

About: I have a pet owner for nearly 20 years and now with no pets of my own, I am looking to help take care of your pets and ease your mind when you need a trusted person to watch your pet. I love to make pet care a part of my weekly routine by going before and after work to care for pets and even spending the night at your home I make sure I let pets go outside, take them on walks, play with them, provide attention, feeding, giving of medications, can help socialize dogs with other dogs
“Bec took such incredible care of our cat Gabe! It is always sad leaving a pet home alone while you travel but her updates and level of care made it so much easier to enjoy ourselves!”

About: I grew up with dogs, lizards and cats and even hamsters, bearded dragons and birds. I know how to take care of a variety of animals. I am a lover of all animals! I have a full time job but I am free in the evenings, weekends, and I work remote during the day Monday and Friday to take care of animals. In my personal life, I feed my cat in the morning and night, clean her litter box every other day and play with her daily. I will follow the instructions given and make sure I am aware of the expectations going into the clients home. I am a very responsible and accountable person.
“Rola did a fantastic job with our two dogs during her drop-in visit. She was on time, friendly, and made sure both pups were cared for and happy. I I appreciated her attention to detail and the updates she provided. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and thoughtful pet care!”

About: I have 2 cats of my own whom I love dearly, so I take the responsibility of pet-sitting very seriously. Things like daily enrichment, supervision, and providing a safe environment are my top priority. Fun fact: I watched my cousin's flying squirrel once as a kid! I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! I have 2 cats of my own that I care for on a daily basis, so caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine. I love to send updates and photos to pet parents throughout the day and I am super easy to reach over the phone if you need anything! I also like to give homes a small tidy up before I leave (free of charge) which would include removing pet hair, wiping down things down, and leaving the space better than I found it.
“I couldn't be happier with the experience! She provided updates and adorable photos, which put my mind at ease. My dogs were happy and well-cared for, and I could tell they received plenty of attention and playtime. Payton was very responsible, sticking to my dog's routine and ensuring they felt comfortable throughout the time. I highly recommend for a reliable and caring dog sitter. I will definitely book them again in the future!”

About: I have years of experience taking care of dogs, cats, and chickens for friends and family. I don’t have a pet of my own right now, so I would love to spend some time with yours! I work part time at a pottery studio, and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have a flexible schedule, and can adapt based on your needs. In a clients home I am careful to keep everything tidy to provide a good environment. I live in a clean apartment in a very walkable neighborhood.

AMAZING! Tricia took such great care of our dog! Couldn’t ask for anyone better. She took her on walks when the weather allowed or just played in the shade when it was too hot. They strolled near the water for a change of pace…which they both seemed to enjoy ⛵️🦆. Her updates were so helpful, especially when our dog caught a cold. Highly recommend 🐾

Teresa was an excellent pet sitter for our two dogs. She is warm and responsive. She communicated regularly with photos and texts, followed all directions and anticipated the dogs needs during storms and fireworks. So glad we had her stay and do stop in visits instead of using the kennel. Our house was left as we left it and she watered my plants.

Brynn was amazing for our dog! She watched him over our wedding weekend and made sure to always give detailed check-ins and photos. Our dog can be a bit unsure with strangers, but Brynn did a great job getting to know him and making sure he felt comfortable with her. She was responsive in her communication. I highly recommend Brynn if you’re in need of a pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
