About: I have cared for animals all my life! Cats and dogs have a special place in my heart and I am patient and gentle. I have cared for kittens and senior cats as well as a dog with a traumatic upbringing. I work full time and am able to care for your pet family after 5 pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. I am a natural early riser and am comfortable taking early morning walks. Weekends are open for overnight or frequent visits. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am comfortable safely harnessing and waking dogs. I am mindful of dog etiquette while walking and encountering other dogs.
“I highly recommend Shannon. She was intentional about a meet and greet to get to know us, she had thorough updates for each visit and even helped administer insulin for our diabetic cat. She has a warm, kind energy that any animal would love!”

“Joey has been fantastic. I left for a 3 week trip and she has stopped in twice a day to check up and hang out with my cat (Peaches). She goes the extra mile. Keeping me updated on how Peaches has been doing. Cleaning up any accidents outside the litter box. Taking the garbage out and bringing it up from the driveway on garbage day. She also brought in any packages left at our door. If I need a sitter in the future she will be the first I go to. I highly recommend considering Joey if you’re looking for a sitter you can count on!”

About: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had dogs in my life. From growing up with family labs to currently caring for my own black lab named Mae! I love giving dogs a life full of fun, adventure, and exercise—whether that’s walks, hikes, games, or just quality playtime. As a former collegiate athlete and current physical therapy student, I bring energy, patience, and knowledge of safe movement, which helps me care for both energetic pups and senior dogs alike. I value treating every dog like family and strive to make each visit engaging, safe, and full of love for your precious pup :) Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a physical therapy student completing much of my coursework remotely, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the week. I am often available on weekends and have availability during weekdays as well, including evenings. Being active and organized, I thoroughly enjoy incorporating pet care into my day and can provide dependable attention, exercise, and companionship for your four-legged family member When it comes to caring for dogs, I value giving them my full attention. From the moment I meet them I want to make sure we are getting outside and being active. I find so much joy in making sure their cup is filled whether that’s us hanging out or going on long walks:)
“Regina was fantastic! I had never used a sitter before, and she made the process so simple and easy. Her daily reports gave me the confidence that my cat was in great hands while I was gone. I will 100% use her again on future trips!”

“Anna was great checking in on our pups while we were away for the weekend. We have some high energy, anxious dogs and she handled their energy wonderfully. They warmed right up to her and we got timely, full and thoughtful updates. Thank you Anna for taking care of the pups!”

About: I have taken care of my family pets since I was little. In high school I took care of neighbor’s dogs and others who needed the extra hand in taking dogs for walks and making sure they had food, water, and were happy. I have a full time job and usually work 8 hours during the day Sunday-Thursday. I am available in the mornings and evenings during those days, Friday afternoons, and all day Saturdays. While taking care of clients pets, I will make sure they have plenty of water, food, exercise, and all instructions the owners leave are followed. I care for all animal's health and well-being and will go out of my way to make sure they are taken care of how their owners would want them and how I would take care of my own pets.
About: I love spending time with all animals! I have lived with small (exotic) animals and dogs my entire life. I ten to focus on the pets comfortability and preferences when spending time with them. I can give baths, brushing, and nail trimming as needed for dogs! I currently am with the animals when I am not working! I am taking a step back from full time grooming and have open availability but will need to do 6 hour shifts some days and will be gone for 8 hours at the MAX! I love playing with animals and doing mini training sessions. I would not consider myself a trainer but do great with positive reinforcement for ideal behaviors and small tricks!
“Brynn took good care of my cat while I was away. She made sure the litter box was cleaned and gave my cat more food & fresh water. She couldn’t brush my cat though since she was hiding under my bed. Thanks Brynn!”

“Jan checked in on my kitty while I was out of town for a long weekend. My kitty looked like she had a great time playing with Jan, and Jan took great care of her while I was gone. I would highly recommend Jan! 😊”

About: I have a very wide range of skills when it comes to caring for pets from dogs and cats to small animals. For four years, I had my own dog care business in which I boarded and walked dogs. For the past couple of years, I have spent my time studying and learning medical care of animals. I also have experience of working at an animal shelter with cats and dogs of all ages, behavior needs, sizes, and breeds. I have experience handling large breeds, aggressive animals, and animals with anxiety. I believe that my wide range of skills and experience with pets of all ages will make me a great match for caring for your furry friend! I'm currently working part-time at an animal shelter. This position requires about 15 hours of work per week, primarily on the weekends. Besides these shifts, I will devote all of my free time to caring for your pet! I have many parks near my home and am willing to take your pet on long walks. I would say that I am lenient with the animals' range in my own home as I will allow them on furniture and in any room.
“Lily was flexible and understanding when I had a last minute schedule change. She was kind and sweet to my kitty and we have a dog too that we would love to have her meet. Will book again!”

“Olivia did a wonderful job with our 2 cats while we were gone for a week. She was on time and always spent time with the cats as well as sending a quick note and pics of them. We will use her again if needed.”

Chanhassen dog parents share their Rover experiences
Joey did an awesome job with our elderly and cranky 14 year old dog. Our pet does not warm up to people much in this stage of her life. Joey had the patience that Maizy needed. It allowed us to feel comfortable in leaving our dog where she feels her best-in her own home. We will definitely use Joey again!
Our dog can be very nervous around new people, and has even completely refused to go outside for strangers before, but Hailey got her out in less than 5 minutes! She communicated with us the whole time and even sent some sweet photos of the visit! Can’t wait to have her back!

Ella was absolutely fantastic for our first Rover experience and we’d be super happy to have her back again. It was such a relief to let our dog stay home instead of going to the kennel. Ella asked great questions before taking the request, left comforting feedback while we were away & we came home to a perfectly cared for happy dog. Thank you Ella!!
