About: UPDATE- my husband and I are now both retired. We look forward to meeting you and your fur babies I am an empty nester and love to keep busy. I work with individuals with developmental disabilities as a nurse. Have been at my job for 14 years.I am the mom to 2 fur babies at home, a yellow lab, Macie who is 9 and Bear a Pitbull/boxer 10yr. I grew up in northern Minnesota, where we had dogs,cats and a quarter horse, named Jake. I attended nursing school in Brainerd. My husband and I like to keep busy in the summer either camping or heading to a music festival. I enjoy gardening and meeting up with friends. We have 2 grown sons who both live in Minnesota as well. I would be honored to take care of your fur babies. I am comfortable with medication both oral and injections. When I care for your pets they will get the best care, that's my promise to you Update-I have had both of my Covid vaccines My husband I are both retired. We like to spend time working in our yard or on our home projects. Since we have lost both our dogs opening up our home gives us the opportunity to give love to other dogs. We do not have a fenced yard and use a fifty-foot tie out. When using tie out we are always in the yard with them. If needed we can also take out on leash.

About: I’ve grown up around pets. I’m very patient with all animals. I love taking the time to learn what each animal loves. Also, to learn each one’s unique personality. I work full time as a childcare teacher. Due to my job. I’m typically only available on weekends. However, weekday evenings may be an option on certain dates. Reach out if that timing might work best for you. I have a lot of flexibility for times on Saturday or Sundays to fit your schedule. I will keep your pets safety a top priority as we are on our walks! I’ve grown up having multiple pets. I currently have a dog and know how important pets are to each family!

About: I am a patient and attentive sitter, and will do my absolute best to meet all of your pets' needs while they are in my care. I will treat your furry friends as well as I would treat my own. I love to go on walks and play, and of course I love to snuggle as well! I am currently working part time, and will have plenty of time to feed, walk, and care for your pets! I hope to make them feel as at home as they usually do. I will have fluctuating flexibility, as I am also a part time Certified Nursing Assistant. I will keep my undivided attention on your pets if/when I take the outside. I will make sure to keep a harness/leash on at all times while outside, unless in a fenced in area like the backyard or a dog park. I will keep them reined in close to me while on walks to avoid ay possible altercations with other dogs. I will keep unsafe foods (grapes, chocolate, garlic, etc.) away from the pets.

About: I have tons of experience with my sister’s and friends dogs growing up. I love them more than anything and I’m looking forward to meeting more! I do work a full time job from 8-4:30 Monday-Friday I’m available most evenings and all weekends. I work full time but always during the day. I will make it work in the worst case scenario! About: Hello pawrents! After many years of running Harley’s Dog Sitting in California, our family recently packed up our paws and relocated to Minnesota. While I’ve closed the boarding chapter of Harley’s Dog Sitting, I still love spending time with dogs and am available for dog walking and drop-in visits through Rover. I’ve cared for dogs for 17+ years and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities, from energetic puppies and big personalities to shy dogs and seniors who prefer to take life at their own pace. My approach has always been pretty simple: meet dogs where they are. Some dogs want an adventure and a good sniff around the neighborhood. Some need to burn off a little energy while their humans are at work. Others mostly want a potty break, dinner, and someone to tell them they're a very good dog. ### EXPERIENCE & SAFETY I have emergency and animal CPR training and experience administering medications and caring for senior dogs. Years of welcoming hundreds of dogs into our home for boarding has me tuned to reading dog body language, handling different temperaments, and adapting care to the individual dog. I’m comfortable with all breeds and don't have breed restrictions. DOG WALKS Walks are tailored to your dog rather than treated like a race around the block. I'm happy to follow your normal route and routine, or give your dog plenty of time to sniff and explore along the way. Let me know about any leash behaviors, triggers, favorite routes, escape-artist tendencies, or neighborhood nemeses I should know about before we head out. DROP-IN VISITS Drop-ins can include potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, medications when discussed in advance, playtime, backyard time, and plenty of attention. Just tell me what your dog's normal routine looks like. Keeping things familiar is usually the easiest way to make having a stranger show up at the house feel a whole lot less strange. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW Please make sure your Rover profile includes current care instructions, veterinary information, and an emergency contact. For walks, dogs should have a secure, properly fitted collar or harness and leash available. I also use a slip leash for extra protection against houdini hound behavior. For drop-ins, please provide clear instructions for feeding, medications, accessing your home, and anything else that's important to your dog's routine. My availability is intentionally limited, but if our schedules line up and it sounds like a good fit, I'd love to meet your pup. 🐾 I work from home full time, which gives me flexibility to fit walks and drop-in visits into my day. In your home, I follow your dog’s normal routine and your care instructions as closely as possible. Dogs are kept securely leashed on walks, and I use a slip leash as an extra layer of protection against any Houdini hound behavior. I’m experienced with medications, senior dogs, and dogs with all kinds of personalities. Before leaving, I make sure your dog is settled, water is fresh, and doors and gates are securely closed. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority.

About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. My passion has taken me through professional boarding facilities and various sized playrooms, where I’ve learned the ins and outs of doggy behavior from playful pups, ones that are a little more on the spicy side, to the more reserved ones. what I truly love is helping pups thrive. I’m fine with behavioral issues such as resource guarding, reactivity ect as long as it’s disclosed first. I also have a senior GSD at home so I know how to provide compassionate care for our sugar faced friends! I’m always open for questions or comments and I send LOTS of pictures! I require a meet and greet before booking any services (unless it’s a last minute drop in or dog walk) I work full time as a dog trainer but I always make time to train and work my own dogs as well as being able to care for others pets. We can discuss your ideal schedule and figure out together the perfect plan. I’m available most evenings and weekends. I have a fully fenced yard, long lines and a couple favorite parks! I will always be transparent with pet parents about expectations with their pets. What I would do with a senior pup is different than a young dog. I’m happy to provide my companionship and love for dogs who would rather snuggle and just be around people or play lots of fetch and do lots of brain games for dogs who need that. Usually it’s a mix between the two, some play, lots of love.

About: I have taken care of dogs and horses and absolutely enjoy making sure they feel safe and loved. Pets bring so much joy and comfort. I hope to do the same for the pets I am watching. I'm currently working part-time, so I am available for more time. My son is off to the Marines, so I can stay at the client's house. This love for pet sitting began when my friends asked me to take care of their animals while they were on. vacation I prefer the pets at the client's house, where they feel more comfortable. About: Welcome! Hi! I'm Laura, and I'd love to care for your dog like they're part of the family. My home features a large, fully fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to run, play, sniff, and burn off energy in a safe environment. Your pup will also have the opportunity to socialize with my two friendly Old English Sheepdogs. I believe every dog deserves individual attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to relax, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their stay. Meet My Dogs 🐾 Remy (5 years old) Remy is my energetic male Old English Sheepdog. He absolutely loves meeting new people and dogs! During introductions he can get very excited, which means he may bark and pull on the leash at first. Once he's had a chance to say hello, he settles down nicely and is eager to make a new friend. 🐾 Sylvie (8 years old) Sylvie is my sweet female Old English Sheepdog who loves people. She can sometimes experience a little social anxiety when meeting unfamiliar dogs, so I always make introductions carefully. She is also afraid of children (we're actively working on building her confidence), so I ask that children give her plenty of respectful space during meet and greets. Meet & Greets I highly recommend scheduling a meet and greet before your dog's first stay. This gives everyone a chance to get acquainted, ensures your dog is comfortable with my home and dogs, and helps make the boarding experience as stress-free as possible. A note about independence: I love spending time with my guest dogs and giving them plenty of affection, playtime, and attention throughout their stay. However, I’m best suited for dogs who can also settle and relax independently. I work from home and need to be able to sleep, work, cook, and take care of things around the house without a dog continuously demanding attention, whining, barking for attention, pawing at me, or needing to follow me from room to room at all times. If your dog is a “Velcro dog” who becomes distressed or persistently vocal when they aren’t receiving direct attention, my home probably won’t be the best fit. Dogs should be comfortable relaxing on their own for periods of time while I’m elsewhere in the house. Of course, they’ll still receive lots of love and attention throughout their stay. I just need my four-legged guests to understand that sometimes it’s independent relaxation time. Late Drop-off & Pick-up Policy: A 30-minute grace period is provided. Drop-offs or pick-ups more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time will incur a $25 late fee for each hour or portion of an hour. Please notify me as soon as possible if you're running late. Optional Grooming & Care Add-Ons If you'd like your pup to go home looking and feeling their best, I also offer these optional services: - Nail grinding: $20 per dog - Bath: Starting at $30 (price varies by coat size and length) - Teeth brushing: $10 - Ear cleaning: $15 - Dematting & brushing: $30 per hour (for heavily matted or thick-coated dogs; time varies depending on coat condition) If you have any questions about my home, my dogs, or your dog's stay, feel free to reach out.
