“Jennifer was excellent with my very shy stray that we took in. Always on time, always checked in with me. Such a relief to know that my kitty was in great caring hands. Thank you Jennifer!”

“Jan was amazing! She did exactly what I asked and communicated daily with me, through the app and text on her visit; what she did while there, how the cats were doing, etc. She also sent pictures of the cats each day. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I volunteer with my local animal rescue. I’ve loved animals my whole life and want nothing more than to keep them healthy and happy :) I work a full time 9-5 job so unfortunately I am only available on weekends and in the evening on weekdays. Otherwise I would have a pet of my own! I have a fenced in yard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood. I have watched friends pets so my house is dog/cat safe even though I don’t have a pet of my own.
“Alyssa responded very quickly, from when I first reached out for availability. Callie liked her right away, and she asked the right amount of questions. We had a rainy few days, but she came prepared with her rain jacket for Callie's evening walk. She was great!!”

“Bec did an awesome job taking care of my high energy kitten while I was out of town for the weekend. She followed all my instructions and most importantly gave him tons of love an attention while I was away. I came home to a very happy kitten :)”

“Paige did a great job with our two cats, stopped in daily at the same time and played with and fed them, cleaned the litter box and sent us daily updates and photos, and all went well! And the best thing was, unlike other times when we've been gone, the cats had no behavioral issues, didn't chew anything up or leave poop surprise anywhere to show their defiance-- everything was normal when we got home and they seem perfectly content :)”

About: I take very care of my cats and make sure they have a well balanced diet and life. I’ve babysat friends dogs and am very good at following any directions and preferences they give me. Cats and dogs give me so much joy and I always have the patience and love for them. I’m currently working a part-time job and I’m in softball currently, so the most available time I have are Fridays and the weekends at any time your pet will need me. I will be coming to your home since that works best for me, so I will care for you pet just like you would yourself. Any special accommodations you have for me, I will be sure to follow through since it is your home and your pet.
“She was so nice and friendly and took great care of my kitties! She left me stress free and I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything when she was watching them:) , 11/10 would love to have her watch my babies again”

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs and cats alongside my parents and siblings. We had 3 Labrador Retriever dogs (two chocolate Labs, one yellow) and two cats. I walked, fed, and played with the Labs, and fed/managed the litter box for the cats. Since graduating high school, I have done pet sitting and walking for dogs and cats of friends and family members I am a stay-at-home mom, so my days consist of baby care and watching pets/doing dog walks for family members and Rover customers! I can either bring my 9-month old with to a walk/drop in visit, or drop her off with dad, depending on the pet’s needs. I can do drop-in visits in your home and take care of whatever needs your pet has. I have reliable transportation, and am open to one-time or repeated scheduling.

About: I grew up with two cats and a dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life! I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, especially taking dogs on walks and giving them plenty of exercise and attention. Although I don’t currently have pets of my own, my boyfriend has a 1.5-year-old Black Lab who I spend lots of time with. I love being around animals and would be excited to give your pets the same love, care, and attention I would give my own! I recently started working from home so my schedule is fairly flexible! I am able to drop in or walk your pets in the morning, mid-day or evening! For drop-in visits and dog walking, I focus on making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. During walks, I provide plenty of exercise and allow time for sniffing and exploring at a pace that works for the dog. During drop-ins, I’ll make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, bathroom breaks, playtime, and lots of attention and affection. I’ll always follow the owner’s instructions and their pet’s usual routine, while also paying close attention to their behavior and needs. My goal is for every pet to feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while I’m with them!
About: I've grown up with cats and dogs and also have experience caring for rabbits and other small pets. As an approved foster for RAGOM (Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota) and a former foster with The Bond Between, I've worked with animals of different ages, personalities, and backgrounds. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and building trust with each pet on their own terms. I love keeping animals happy and engaged through walks, playtime, enrichment activities, training exercises, and plenty of attention. Whether your pet prefers adventure, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. I've also provided pet-sitting services for coworkers and friends throughout the past year and have recently opened up my schedule to welcome new clients. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care while giving you peace of mind. I'm happy to follow any routines, instructions, or special requests to ensure your pet stays comfortable and stress-free while you're away. I work in Chaska, which allows me flexibility for visits before work, during my lunch break, or after work, and I live in Crystal and am able to travel where needed when not working. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care and give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands while you're away. I can stop in to check on pets before work, on a lunch break, or after work Mon-Thurs as I work full time. On Friday's I work 8-12 so I am more available. In the evenings and weekends I am wide open to accommodate any schedule or routine needed. I am able to follow any directions and guidance you give in order to keep your pet safe. Their safety and your peace of mind is my number one goal and I would never put them at risk. I am comfortable taking them out in public if you are comfortable with it, but am also happy to stay home and in your yard if that is your preference :)
About: Pets make life better! They are family. If they behave well, they should be spoiled! I have always had dogs. I grew with up with dogs and now I have my own. I have never owned a cat because my mom is allergic, but I really enjoy them! I care for my friends two cats frequently. I love caring for, playing, and walking animals! I love getting outside to walk. I also love playing fetch and tug of war. I also enjoy playing with feather or ribbon cat toys! I am good with any age animal. They all need love and attention! My dog is 2, so I have been through the puppy stage recently. He has a lot of energy so I know how much exercise dogs need.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Shakopee
We needed to find someone fast before our trip due to a previously booked boarder needing to cancel. Whitney not only responded right away, she was a great communicator and took amazing care of our dogs while we were away. My dogs loved her! I never felt worried while we were away because of the care she provided. I would definitely book with Whitney again!

Our experience with Katie was wonderful. She was kind, professional and very responsive throughout. We scheduled one drop in visit for our puppy because we were going to be away for the day. We scheduled a meet and greet first, which really helped as this was our first experience with a pet sitter. Our puppy was still a bit uneasy the day of the visit, but Katie was very patient and provided us updates and photos throughout. We would definitely recommend Katie and would request her services again. Thank you!

Elizabeth was amazing with Bella during her drop in visit. She was on time, very communicative, and clearly cared about Bella. The updates and photos were so appreciated and gave me total peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
