“My dog Obie really enjoyed himself at Beth's! He loved the fenced in yard, dog park visits and playing with the other dogs. Beth communicated well and responded quickly to messages. I got daily updates and photos of how he was doing. I felt really comfortable that he was in good hands and would highly recommend her.”

“Mochi spent a full week with Carine and her family, and it went very well. Communication was excellent - Carine was attentive to all the details we shared and very responsive via text. We received updates throughout each day and during our trip, which we really appreciated. My kids loved seeing photos and updates of Mochi playing and cuddling with her kids. He was truly treated like one of their own, and it was clear how much he was loved, he will genuinely be missed by their family. Carine was also thoughtful about managing energy levels when another dog was staying at the same time and always checked in first. We felt completely comfortable leaving Mochi in her care and would absolutely use her again.”

“Frank and Clarissa were great! They’re responsive and attentive and provided excellent updates. We were glad to have them watch our dog without any concern or incident while away.”

“Brenna was a great communicator and our Frenchie appeared very comfortable at her house. We enjoyed our vacation more knowing he was being cared for in a dog loving home, instead of at a kennel. Thank you Brenna!”

“Andrew, Venessa and kids did a fabulous job looking after Lyla. We are extremely pleased with the care that Lyla received. Lyla had lots of fun and she was extremely comfortable. The communication was great with updates and pictures. We will definitely be reaching out to them for future needs.”

“Jeremiah and family are so caring and loving with our dear dog!! Started with daycare 3 nights and moved on to boarding for 6 nights!! Our doodle was very well loved and taken care of. Highly recommend this family!”

“Kelly did a great job watching my two toy Aussie’s! The dogs immediately got comfortable with Kelly and her two beautiful greyhounds. They loved the large fenced in grass yard— they were in dog heaven! Kelly sent photos and kept me posted on how my pups were doing. I so appreciated the updates since Kelly graciously took them at the last minute (due to a funeral in the family). I will definitely contact Kelly again— thank you!”

“My dog had a great time at Andrew’s - running and playing outside! She loved playing with Andrew’s dog too! She came home happy and well rested! I will definitely be bringing my dog back for another vacation!”

“Brittany and her husband were GREAT!! She watched our dog Tucker for a few days while we were moving. She kept us up to date on how he was doing, and followed all of our instructions caring for him. We really appreciated her flexibility in timing dropping him off and picking him up - we unexpectedly needed to extend our booking an extra night, and was happy to accommodate this last-minute. I recommend Brittany without reservation - we'll definitely be re-booking in the future!”

“Our dog Rio had a BLAST with Rachelle and Dan. They were very detailed oriented when it came to Rio’s special needs. They also sent the perfect amount of updates and pictures throughout the stay. Definitely will book again!”

“Our guy Finn stayed with John and Gretchen for a long weekend and he had a great time! He was given plenty of walks, sniffing and lap sitting time and everyone enjoyed each other’s company. Thanks again for watching Finn!”

“Very pleased. Xena came back happy. Continuous updates as well as reaching out with questions/clarification. Brandi’s love and care for Xena was on display. Truly greatful”

“Pluto had a blast staying with Stacey . Stacey kept him like we would , at her home and he got all the love from her and her family. When we went to pick him up he was happy to see us but was also wanting to stay with Stacey We would definitely go back to Stacey”

“Jana was very kind to send pics and updates (admittedly, I’m sure I bugged her more) 😂. I look forward to using her again and so does Zoe (she said she hopes her “friend” is there at the same time too!)”

“Rosemarie and Gerald took amazing care of our elderly pup, Peanut. The sent multiple pictures and videos and were great at giving Peanut the food and meds she needs as a senior pup. I would highly recommend Rosemarie and Gerald for the care of your pup and I will use them again the next time we need to have care for Peanut.”

“Aish and her family were wonderful. They sent many pictures and videos. My dog, Pepper, seemed to have a good time playing with the other dogs she had there. This was our first time using Rover and we were super nervous about leaving our baby with anyone. I think Pepper misses being over there now playing with the others. Due to the BWCA wildfires we had to end our trip early. Aish made sure to refund the money for the other days right away without me even asking. She responded immediately to all my texts. I would definetly use her to watch my Pepper again.”

“I can't describe how happy I am that I found Lonni and Steve! I have a very hard time dropping off my chihuahua to be watched and the love that Lonni and Steve have for him puts me at ease. Their love and care for dogs is incredibly genuine and it shows. Rarely do I trust anyone with my dog and I was able to leave him with Lonni and Steve for 8 nights and was very comfortable that he was getting the absolute best care, attention and love. They watch out for his needs, make sure he is comfortable and even adjust their schedules around him. I'm so grateful that we found them and will continue to ask them to care for our little guy.”

“Steven and Diane were great. They have excellent communication, sent us photos, and sent home Lutsen all tuckered out. Thanks so much guys! Can’t wait to bring Lutsen your way again soon.”

“Jennifer is fantastic with our elderly and special needs cats. She can manage their unique diets and medications and is kind and patient with them too. We've had her watch our pets several times in the past and she is our go-to most trusted option any time we need a sitter.”

“Olivia did a wonderful job with our 2 cats while we were gone for a week. She was on time and always spent time with the cats as well as sending a quick note and pics of them. We will use her again if needed.”

“Joey has been fantastic. I left for a 3 week trip and she has stopped in twice a day to check up and hang out with my cat (Peaches). She goes the extra mile. Keeping me updated on how Peaches has been doing. Cleaning up any accidents outside the litter box. Taking the garbage out and bringing it up from the driveway on garbage day. She also brought in any packages left at our door. If I need a sitter in the future she will be the first I go to. I highly recommend considering Joey if you’re looking for a sitter you can count on!”

“Adelaide was wonderful to work with! She cared so well for our cats and provided great feedback and pictures from her drop-in visits. She paid attention to detail, communicated well and was a top notch pet sitter! We’ll definitely book her pet sitting services again!”

“Chrissy was a great sitter for our cat, Nacho. He gets very stressed when we have to board him and this was the first time he stayed with a sitter. He came home and was his usual self... and I actually think he misses her. :) She also sent us a picture of him everyday to reassure us he was doing great. Thank you for keeping him happy and safe!”

“Patty was so wonderful to our kitties while we were away! Couldn’t recommend her enough and will absolutely book her again. She was prompt, super responsive and took the best care of our kitties and our home. Thanks, Patty!”

“Ashly was great with my four boys and sought them out to give them some love while she was here. The photos were lovely and I could tell they felt comfort with her. I’ve already hired her for my next work trip.”

“Nicole was fantastic! We did a pre visit meeting to go over what the cats needs and their personalities. They were well taken care of and she made our trip stress free!”

“Jordana took perfect care of our high energy dogs when I reached out due to work travel! They clearly enjoyed her presence and were so happy in all of the photos. We will be using her again!”

“Alyssa was so great with our kitty Marceline! She responded very quickly when I first reached out, and our kitty was comfortable with her right away. She had great attention to detail and was very pleasant to work with. I could tell from the pictures each day that our kitty was very happy with her! We would definitely use her as a sitter again in the future!”

“Ashley is an awesome pet sitter! I hate to even call her that - she's your pets best friend when you're out of town. She's attentive, follows complicated directions flawlessly, and truly loves and cares for your animals like they're your own. She even accommodated a last minute personal emergency with grace. Thank you Ashley, I can't wait to work together in the future. Sushi and Bamboo already miss your playtimes!”

“Emma did a wonderful job caring for my cat. Nutmeg was adopted during COVID and this was my first time away from home. Emma not only took care of the usual things (food, water, clean up) but also played and combed Nutmeg. Photos and reports were sent daily and I returned to a very happy cat!”

“Katie is the best. If she can win over Helena, our very anxious gray cat, she can win over anyone! And she is attentive, sends updates, and is so kind. We love Katie ❤️”

“Jess was so wonderful to have watch our cat while we were away. She stayed at our place and kept our cat occupied with the laser and loved on while we were gone. “Our dog always leaves happy from her stays with Jeremiah and his family which gives us great peace of mind. He has been so flexible and has had great communication with us on the many days we’ve had our Husky stay for doggy day-care. I highly recommend Jeremiah!”

“Joey is great! I never worry about my dog when he stays there. He was so excited to go when he did day care and would run to the door when we arrived. Definitely recommend.”

“Sonja and Adam were both very nice and their dogs too. I received a cute video of my dog playing with one of their dog during the day. They always answered my message quickly. They took care of Lola very well.”

“Bagel loved her time at Carine’s home. She had so much fun with the kids and other pups staying with them and slept good at home afterward. We got lots of pics which is so fun! Thanks for taking such great care of bagel!!!”

“Kristen and her family welcomed Oreo as if he was their own dog. I felt confident that he was getting all the attention he needed. He got some love and exercise and a much welcomed break from his new little fur brother for the day. He is a fast eater, so still eats a lunch and that wasn't an issue at all for them. I know he would be happy to go back for a visit and some playtime with the kids anytime. Thanks for taking such great care of our big boy!”

About: What sets me apart is my professional background as a Medical Assistant combined with my lifelong love for animals. Growing up alongside our family dog, Topacio, who has been with us for over 10 years, I have developed a deep understanding and gentle touch for senior dog care—knowing exactly how to keep older pets comfortable, safe, and happy. My medical training gives me an extra layer of responsibility, attention to detail, and a calm demeanor when looking after pets. I am well-versed in caring for dogs of all sizes and ages from friends and family, and I focus on providing a structured, loving home environment. I treat every furry guest with the same dedication and affection as if they were my own! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I have a flexible hybrid schedule, working some days from home doing patient video consultations and other days from the office. On my work-from-home days, I am there to provide constant companionship and potty breaks throughout the day. For the days I am at the office, my schedule is highly predictable and structured, making it ideal for pets that are comfortable with a standard workday routine. About: **We stay pretty busy with our current dog families, so we may not be available to take your dog. Our first priority is the current families we work with.** **Our speciality is dogs 30 pounds and under. Please consider other Rover sitters for medium size dogs before you request care from us.** We've been watching dogs through Rover for almost 2 years now. We have many families that we watch their dogs frequently. Their dogs are excited to come back to our home, and we treat their dogs like family. They receive lots of love, attention, and care. We love our current Rover dogs and families. They are precious to us. Prior to Rover, we took care of our friends' pets as well as traveled to pet-sit in various US locations for about 8 years. My responsible teen & tween children love all animals. Just don't ask us to watch your pet centipede or ostrich!! We will take your dog on walks and give it lots of belly scratches and snuggles. If your dog likes to sleep on a bed, my middle daughter would welcome it to her full size bed. She's the one your dog is sure to bond to as she has a natural way with dogs. We are a homeschooling family, so we are home a lot (when we aren't traveling ourselves). We enjoy being outside and would welcome your dog to join us on walks and hikes. If your dog likes to go for drives, we can do that too. We have a large yard, but it is not fenced in. Our neighborhood has lots of sidewalks, so we go for both short and long walks. My kids are gentle with pets and like to treat them like royalty.
“Perfect sitter who truly understands and follows specific care instructions. Rachel did exactly what we asked, and as a result, everyone—the dog, the sitter, and us as owners—was happy. I highly recommend her to anyone who may be unsure whether their dog can be properly cared for.”

“We just wrapped up our first day of doggy daycare with Jen, and we are so happy to have found such a wonderful family closeby with a fenced yard!!! Jen provided photos and updates throughout the day, which put me at ease. I love that her kids got to play with my dog as well. And I can tell my pup had a great time. We will be repeat customers for sure!!!”

“Kara is absolutely amazing! Not only is she top notch! Her family is out of this world as well! I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for Leo to spend his days while I am at work.”

“Murphie had another great day with Lonni & Steve. She was excited when we pulled up to the house and went in because she knew she was going to get good snuggles, play time and walks. Thank you Lonni & Steve :-)”

About: Trusted dog & cat sitter for several families in MN and across the country. Big to small sized dogs and cats of all ages welcome! I have had Golden retrievers since I was young. My family fostered Dachschunds when my kids were growing up too. We have had cats, hamsters and fish throughout the years. I work remotely in my home. I am available throughout the workday to play and walk your pets. I enjoy getting outside and walking on the trails around my house. I love having pets in the house and look forward to taking care of your special pet as if they were my own. I can come to your home or host your pet at my house.
About: Home full-time and just steps from miles of walking trails, your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship throughout the day. We currently have Loki, our friendly 5-year-old Golden Retriever, who loves other dogs, playing outside, and spending time with our two boys. Our boys absolutely love dogs and are gentle, affectionate, and excited to help make visiting dogs feel like part of the family. Boarding with us means your dog will be welcomed into a real home — not treated like just another booking. We only board one dog at a time, which allows us to give your dog plenty of attention, keep the environment calm, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. We do not have a fenced yard, but we have a large, wooded yard (.6 acres) where dogs can safely enjoy time outside on a lead. We also live right by a regional walking/biking trail, so frequent walks and outdoor time are easy and part of our routine. I am comfortable caring for all dogs, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I have experience giving medications, crate training, leash walking, basic obedience, and helping dogs settle into a new environment. I am active and outdoorsy, so dogs who enjoy walks, playtime, and being part of family life will fit in well here. For everyone’s safety and comfort, visiting dogs must be potty trained, kid-friendly, and non-aggressive. They do not need to be crate trained. We are not currently accepting puppies. Our goal is simple: to give your dog a safe, loving, active place to stay where they get the kind of care we would want for our own dog. My husband and I both work from home on alternating schedules, so caring for dogs are part of our normal daily rhythm. We are available throughout the day for potty breaks, attention, feeding, walks, and check-ins. We live right on a regional trail, which makes daily walks easy, and we also spend time outside in our large yard with dogs safely on a lead. Pet care naturally fits into our family routine — walks, playtime, downtime, and lots of love. Your dog can expect a warm, active family home with plenty of attention, outdoor time, and affection. Because we only board one guest dog at a time, your dog will get personalized care, a calm environment, and lots of time with our friendly Golden Retriever, Loki. We want dogs to feel comfortable, safe, and included while you are away. We have a large yard, but it is not fenced, so visiting dogs are always kept safe on a lead when outside. Our home includes two dog-loving boys and our friendly Golden, so visiting dogs should be kid-friendly, potty trained, and comfortable around another dog. We can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, but crate training is not required. We are happy to follow your dog’s feeding, medication, walking, and sleep routines as closely as possible to help them feel secure.
“Ann has been an absolute dream dog sitter. I know my dog is in excellent hands and I bring him every week. I recommend Ann to anyone, even those like me that is extraordinarily particular about who watches my dog.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I never had a dog or cat growing up so I was always trying to find ways to spend time with others pets, including asking the neighbors if their dogs could come out and play! I have a dog of my own now who just turned 10 and have a cat as well. I work from home so happy to get out of the house and meet new pets friends! I am currently working full time from home. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can be available for drops ins and walks on both week days or weekends. I’m very detail oriented and love to make animals feels safe. Just let me know best practices for your pet so I can give them the same level of care you give them!
About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. From our neighbors cat who we invited to our birthday parties as kids, to the 3 precious dogs I’ve had the honor of being a mama to. Nash (weimer) left us in 2019 at 12 years old. We just said goodbye to Oliver (Puggle) in August of 2025 at 17 years old! And we currently still get to love on Riggins, our 10 year old Frenchie. With Nash and Oliver living such long lives, I have experience caring for all ages, from puppies to seniors. I work from home full time as a sales executive, so my flexible schedule allows me to step away as needed for care. I am also an early riser, so I am available to breakfast feed an walk early. My dogs are my babies, so I know the importance of having someone to rely on. If you need me to drop in and/or feed or give medicine, potty break/walk etc. at a specific time, I understand how important it is to not be late. If they need something at 3:30, it will be 3:30, not 3:45.

“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! William took such amazing care of our pup—he slept soundly, got plenty of walks, and was treated like family. William was incredibly thoughtful, even sending him home with a sweet gift bag, a magnet with his picture, and a heartfelt card. We felt so at ease knowing our dog was in such loving and attentive hands. Highly recommend William to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like their own. Thank you so much!”
