About: I have grown up with dogs in the household while I currently do not have any dogs due to my two cats and living in a rental that doesn’t allow any more than two pets. I love dog sitting for my friends and family when they go out of town! I have worked with small to large dogs, dogs with special medication need's, dogs with behavioral issues/needs and puppies. I currently work from home Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday anywhere between 8 AM to 7 PM depending on my work schedule it changes weekly but I’m more then flexible it fit in walks or drop in visits. My weekends normally consist of just relaxing at home so I thought why not look into helping people with their beloved pets in the evening and on Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately, with my two cats living in a townhome rental, I won’t be doing services in my home, however, if I dog sit in your home I will make sure that your pet gets all the correct meals needed, on time medication‘s if needed, and plenty of play times and cuddles with walks throughout the day or as requested!

I have cared for many different types, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need extra patience, attention, and specialized care. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I take the time to learn what makes each dog comfortable and happy. I have also raised dogs of my own, giving me hands-on experience with daily care, training, routines, exercise, feeding, medications when needed, and recognizing when a dog needs extra attention. I’m reliable, attentive, flexible, and communicative, and I treat every dog in my care like a member of my own family. My Daily Routine Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout much of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and walks without them feeling like they are simply being left alone. I typically start the day with potty time, breakfast, and some attention or a walk before settling into work. Throughout the workday, I take breaks to check on the dogs, let them outside for potty breaks using a leash or tie-out, other walk as needed to give them attention, and make sure they are comfortable. They are welcome to relax near me while I work, and I can adjust my routine based on each dog’s individual needs. I do occasionally need to be away from home for work or other commitments, but I’m very flexible and plan my schedule around the dogs in my care whenever possible. I’m comfortable adjusting feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, rest time, or other routines to match what your dog is accustomed to. My goal is to provide a calm, loving home environment where your dog can feel comfortable, included, and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to work with their individual personality, age, energy level, and routine. I treat every dog in my home like one of my own, while following the routine and preferences their family has established for them with love, attention and affection.

About: Hi! I’m new to rover but not to pet sitting! My name is Kayla, I’m 18, and I have been around animals all my life. I have two dogs of my own, a 3 yo pug and a 12 yo lab mix, so I am well experienced with all different energy levels. I have plenty of experience pet sitting in my neighborhood, with dogs and cats. I even kept an Australian Bearded Dragon in my room for a summer! Additionally, I manage a Instagram account for my Pug, Skola. As a Highschool student, I will have to check on pets before/after school and in the evenings. I will be able to do daytime care on weekends. I fully intend to follow any and all instructions given by the client as I know every dog has its own unique way of going about things. I plan to check on pets as often as possible, and provide them with plenty of care and attention. My visits to your house to check on your pet will not just be brief water bowl checks and outside time, but more so spending time with your pet and giving them the love they deserve.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was able to drive. I have grown up around them and have pet sat for multiple family friends at least once a year. I have done some therapy dog training in middle school and have carried that with me when interacting with new pets. I am attending Normandale to complete my prerequisites in order to attend Pharmacy school at the University of Minnesota. Having a flexible schedule allows me to make sure I have time to get my work done. If your pet needs company, I am happy to sit and read a text book to them or play with them/take walks if I need a good break. As of fall 2026, I am only taking 2 classes which leaves plenty of time to come play with your fur baby! I believe smell and actions are important on first meetings. I am very gentle and will always let them smell me before I attempt to pet or play. Not all animals are trusting of people and I believe slow and steady does the trick. I lived with a Blind Shih Tzu for 2 years and at first she was always shaky and scared of everything. By the time her owner moved out, she wasn’t even afraid of storms anymore as I was able to work with her and give her confidence.

About: I became a dog lover when I was 6 and my family got our first bulldog Rufus (best dog breed in my opinion). I’ve taken care of my own dog and friends and family members’ dogs that have come in all different breeds and sizes. I have availability all throughout the week and can accommodate whatever time works best for you. I just graduated college, so I’m doing dog care while I look for a job. I will listen to your pet’s body language to make them as comfortable as possible when meeting them and assure that they are safe and secure before leaving.

About: My name is Arianna! I have worked with dogs and cats at a dog daycare/ boarding place for 6 years and have been doing rover for 2 years. I have lots of experience caring for dogs and cats of all different temperaments breeds and sizes! I have also had lots of experience giving medication to dogs and cats. I have lived with dogs and cats for about 15 years and also have experience with small animals such as guinea pigs, bunnies, ferrets, and hamsters. I have always had a love for animals and hope to become a zookeeper or zoologist in the future and I hope that this journey in working with animals will help me prepare for that! I will care for your animal(s) with love and treat them as if they were my own! I can’t wait to meet you and your furbaby! I am doing pet sitting at home full time starting September 1st so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have a fenced in backyard so your dogs can be secure off leash for going potty and playtime. And your dogs can sleep with me in my room when it is time for bed. I have extra beds and blankets and I will ensure they are comfortable!

I grew up always having a dog in the house, as well as watching family & friends dogs. I have lots of experience with larger dogs because I owned a Bernese Mountain Dog.
