About: I have grown up with dogs in the household while I currently do not have any dogs due to my two cats and living in a rental that doesn’t allow any more than two pets. I love dog sitting for my friends and family when they go out of town! I have worked with small to large dogs, dogs with special medication need's, dogs with behavioral issues/needs and puppies. I currently work from home Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday anywhere between 8 AM to 7 PM depending on my work schedule it changes weekly but I’m more then flexible it fit in walks or drop in visits. My weekends normally consist of just relaxing at home so I thought why not look into helping people with their beloved pets in the evening and on Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately, with my two cats living in a townhome rental, I won’t be doing services in my home, however, if I dog sit in your home I will make sure that your pet gets all the correct meals needed, on time medication‘s if needed, and plenty of play times and cuddles with walks throughout the day or as requested!
“Haley did a great job of taking care of Percy! Percy was happy to her on visits. She was well rested and had good energy when we returned home. Loved getting pictures of visits.”

“Morgan is the absolute best! The kindest sitter that I trust completely to take care of my cat. Morgan is such a fantastic communicator and showers pets with love and care. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!”

“Jordana took perfect care of our high energy dogs when I reached out due to work travel! They clearly enjoyed her presence and were so happy in all of the photos. We will be using her again!”

“Anna was an exceptional dog sitter for our senior cavapoo! She was extremely caring and trustworthy! We never worried at all while we were away. We loved her communication! She was very thorough and sent us the cutest pictures of our dog and notes to match of how she was doing when she came to visit her. We will absolutely call Anna again!”

“Lucy was fantastic! I gave lots of instructions and she took it all as a note in her phone when we did a meet and greet. I have multiple animals but booked just for my puppy who is 4 months old and needed a break during the day while my partner and I were out. She still played with and cared for each of my animals, and took lots of great photos for us which was so appreciated! She truly went above and beyond for us and my babies, and I will definitely be booking her again in the future. Thank you so much. Lucy. 🥹”

I have lived with dogs and cats for about 15 years and also have experience with small animals such as guinea pigs, bunnies, ferrets, and hamsters. I am doing pet sitting at home full time starting September 1st so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have a fenced in backyard so your dogs can be secure off leash for going potty and playtime. And your dogs can sleep with me in my room when it is time for bed. I have extra beds and blankets and I will ensure they are comfortable!
“Anika was great! She braved the snow to come and meet my Great Dane the evening prior to her drop-in visits. She was not at all intimidated by my 150 lb dog's thorough assessment of her upon her arrival. Her follow through and communication were terrific. I returned home to a happy, healthy, safe pet and could enjoy my time away without concern. I highly recommend Anika!”

About: I have loved owning and training dogs my whole life, but unfortunately have one child allergic. I can't wait to meet your amazing pup of any size, and get them the needed exercise, and training if needed. I have a full-time job in hockey, which affords me a lot of free time in the spring and summer months, especially during the day. I will provide whatever is needed, whether it's a short or long walk. I'm also a runner, and happy to jog with them. I pride myself on being able to work with any kind of dog and training them to be easy and reliable on a leash.
“This was the first time we hired someone to watch our cats that wasn’t a friend or a neighbor, but Ben was great with our cats and we will definitely have him take care of them the next time we are out of town!”

About: I have 1 dog, Bullet a golden retriever of my own. We also have 2 cats. Bullet is very friendly and loves to play. We often go to a park where he can run around and play. Sometimes we go swimming at the beach to play fetch. He is always supervised and is not allowed to wander. We also have a fenced in yard where he can hang out and relax in. He is always on a leash when we take walks around our neighborhood. I believe in safety and security when it comes to my pets and any pets I am taking care of. Bullet is very lovable and playful with all dogs that are friendly back to him. Thank you for taking time to read all this!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
