About: I have worked at dog boarding facilities as well as a pet store that housed cats for the humane society. I have years of personal experience with all kinds of animals. I currently work full time during the week so I am available in the evenings from 6 pm-11 pm and all day on the weekends. I have experience with safely walking and handling reactive dogs and animals as well as building trust with all animals I come into contact with.
“Lucy is a very kind person, and my dogs love her. She comes and walks them twice a week when I’m busy with school and they are SO happy to get to spend some time outside with her. She sends photos and gives me little updates on them, and it makes me feel better about leaving my big, grown up babies.”

About: I have loved owning and training dogs my whole life, but unfortunately have one child allergic. I can't wait to meet your amazing pup of any size, and get them the needed exercise, and training if needed. I have a full-time job in hockey, which affords me a lot of free time in the spring and summer months, especially during the day. I will provide whatever is needed, whether it's a short or long walk. I'm also a runner, and happy to jog with them. I pride myself on being able to work with any kind of dog and training them to be easy and reliable on a leash.
About: I’ve taken care over many different kinds of dogs and enjoy it! I love anything outdoors and fitness so I thought this would be a perfect fit. I’m currently self employed and have the freedom to make my own schedule so I am always available to take care of other things. I have a son who loves to go on walks. I have a fenced porch as well as many dog parks near me. I have a clean apartment for overnight stays and very spacious too.
About: I have taken care of my dogs and other dogs for 26 years. I love dogs. They are so happy to see us and love on us. I have not been trained but I love to train dogs. I really enjoy being a dog walker, it brings me so much joy! I would love to make dog walking my full time job! I am avaliable for daily and or weekly dog walks anytime! I can't wait! Although I would love to have dogs in my own home, I can not have animals in my home because of the condo rules and regulations. When I move into a home some day I would love to have dogs over!
About: I grew up with shepherding dogs and cannot get enough of my friends pets! I currently live in a townhome and have 1 cat but I anxiously anticipate the day I can have a dog of my own! I have really enjoyed Rover in the past and have some flexibility with my WFH schedule to care for your animals while you are away! I am full time work from home with access to a vehicle. My work day is extremely flexible. I am currently interested in finding pets in my neighborhood who maybe need a midday walk or checkin. I do not offer pets to come to my home since I reside in a in a small space but I am extremely respectful of others homes and stay in communication with my clients.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’ve had dogs and all kinds of small animals since I was very young, and I genuinely can’t imagine life without them. When I’m not spending time with my own pets, I’m usually caring for someone else’s—whether that’s pet sitting for friends and family or working my full-time job caring for horses. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality, and I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. After all, I’m here to be your pet’s professional best friend! I’m available every day from 9:00am-8:00pm for drop-ins and walkings. I may be available earlier or later on weekdays and possibly on weekends depending on my schedule. I’m able to feed/water your pet, let them out into a fenced backyard, play with them inside or outside the house, provide minimal grooming, administer medications, and take them on a walk. I also may be able to stop by multiple times a day depending on the time.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them wholeheartedly. I’m very active as a track and field athlete, so I’d love taking dogs on walks, runs, or outdoor adventures. I have years of hands-on experience helping care for my own dog, including daily exercise, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention and affection. My dog recently passed away, and I would truly love the opportunity to help care for someone else’s pet and give them the same love and energy I gave mine. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available for dog walking in the mornings and evenings, as well as pet sitting on weekends. Although I do work during the day, I’m able to stay overnight if needed, especially in the Minneapolis area. I’m active and love getting outside, so walks, runs, and playtime fit naturally into my routine. In a client’s home, I focus on following each pet owner’s routine and preferences as closely as possible to help their pet feel comfortable and cared for. Whether a dog needs long walks, active playtime, lots of attention, or a calmer environment, I’m happy to adapt to what works best for them. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, care, affection, and consistency while their owners are away.
“Highly recommend! It was obvious from the fabulous photos that Gabriella made my cat feel extremely comfortable and cared for. Her in-depth reports gave me immense peace of mind while I was out of town. Thank you so much!”

About: I have my own little dog that I take care of, and I am excited to take care of more. I am care giver at a health care center. Right now I am working on call as a nursing assistant in Apple Valley. I make my own schedule therefore I am free different days of the week. One week I could be free everyday and then I next I’m only free for a couple of days. My mom recently got a new fence for the backyard so our dog can roam freely without us having an heart attack that she’s going to run away 😂
“Bella was so helpful for a last minute emergency after we had a day of cancellation!! Great communication and so helpful. Followed directions well and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Ben showed up consistently and kept me well informed of the cats' activity. He was flexible when I had to change a meetup and was pleasant and asked good questions. I would recommend him for others.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since my younger years. I currently have one dog and two cats. They are all almost 10 years old. I work remote and my availability is very flexible. I can do drop in visits throughout the day. My schedule makes me available more often to take care of your furry family member. I would love to visit your pets , feed them, take on walks or just play. Can administer medications as well. Good at trimming cats nails
About: I’ve cared for several, high-energy, hunting dogs for the past 10 years and grew up with a dog too. From puppies to adults and senior too. These are my and my husband’s babies and I will treat your pets with the same respect and care as I would my own. I work a full-time job that is three, 12-hour shifts a week and every third weekend. The days vary every week. I will be available almost all day on my free days. Every pet is different and requires different needs. I care for them individually and respectfully to make them happy and comfortable. Exercise is important too and I make sure they get their fair share of exercise too.

Highly recommend Heidi!! This was our first time leaving our two dogs without a family member to take care of them and she kept them happy and very well cared for. I appreciated her detailed notes after each visit and felt I had left my dogs in very good and capable hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
