About: Hi! I’m new to rover but not to pet sitting! My name is Kayla, I’m 18, and I have been around animals all my life. I have two dogs of my own, a 3 yo pug and a 12 yo lab mix, so I am well experienced with all different energy levels. I have plenty of experience pet sitting in my neighborhood, with dogs and cats. I even kept an Australian Bearded Dragon in my room for a summer! Additionally, I manage a Instagram account for my Pug, Skola. As a Highschool student, I will have to check on pets before/after school and in the evenings. I will be able to do daytime care on weekends. I fully intend to follow any and all instructions given by the client as I know every dog has its own unique way of going about things. I plan to check on pets as often as possible, and provide them with plenty of care and attention. My visits to your house to check on your pet will not just be brief water bowl checks and outside time, but more so spending time with your pet and giving them the love they deserve.
“Caitlin was wonderful watching my dogs this past weekend. This is my first experience with Rover. She was highly responsive with communication. She came over to my house in advance to meet the dogs in order to ensure a smooth transition, especially given my dogs protective nature. She also walked me through the process and expectations, not having used Rover previously. My dogs took well to her and that was most important! I would absolutely book with her again.”

“We are so grateful for the amazing care Meghan gave to Rambo and Simba! She was reliable, kind, and kept us updated while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our boys were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we got back. You can truly tell she loves animals and treats them like her own. We highly recommend Meghan and will always be our #1 sitter!”

“Eva did a great job taking care of our big dogs. She was able to adapt to both of their quirky personalities and took them on regular walks. It is so nice to know your dogs are well taken care of when you are gone!! It really makes being away so much more comfortable❤️”

“Evelyn did an amazing job looking after our high maintenance girls! They both take medication and need things added to their food and Evelyn had no problem handling all of it. I knew things went great when they went down to the bedroom she stayed in looking for her the morning after we got home :) Evelyn also went above and beyond shoveling the walk and wash the sheets she used. Honestly can’t say enough about the great job she did!”

“We had Alex for a short overnight stay and she was great! She provided us with updates throughout the day… we had no worries while we were away, knowing our dog was being well taken care of. We would love to have Alex again sometime!”

“Sara was great with our two dogs. They came home nice and worn out after their long weekend of running around the backyard. We were sent pictures and updates every day that were very appreciated. I would recommend Sara to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Sky was very honest and communicative about my dogs being stressed due to unexpected construction in the townhouse next to mine. She hang in there with the dogs during a stressful day. My house was very tidy when I returned which I also appreciated.”

“Nina was great, she gave us updates every day, left our home in clean condition, and most of all kept Libby company while we were away. We’ll definitely be booking Nina again! 😊”

“Abigail was an amazing sitter. We immediately felt comfortable with her from the moment she met our pup. She had great communication and gave our pup all the love. Would highly recommend to anyone with any type of pet, her background gives her great experience and she is a sitter to be trusted.”

“Jade is an absolute delight! My girl was well taken care of and Jade is incredibly conscientious with my home as well. Excellent, swift, transparent communicator. Would love to have her back!”
“This is our second time having Barbara stay with our pups, and she is just the best! She takes amazing care of them, and the house, and we are able to completely relax while out of town knowing they are in her care.”

Kate took great care of our 2 dogs, one of them is very anxious natured and also needs medicine for her health condition. She took great initiative from the first meet and greet to ask questions and handle them independently by interacting with them. She reviewed the instructions carefully and asked for options just in case. We were pleasantly surprised that she was able to give medication in a timely manner. Kate was also quick in responding. We would absolutely hire her again!!
Alexis has house sit/pet sit for us twice now, and I cannot recommend her enough! She takes excellent care of both Remi and Lola - providing exercise and lots of pets for the puppies, and fantastic communication and daily updates for the humans! Both of my dogs have some special diet and/or medication routine and her academic training and background is ideal as both dogs need meds daily. I know both Remi and Lola love spending time with Alexis and we look forward to seeing her again soon!

Above and beyond experience working with Lizzy! 100% recommend for any house/pet sitting needs. She is so professional and experienced, we plan to book again with Lizzy. I slept easy away from home knowing that both our senior dog and our high energy crazy dog were both getting their needs met, as well as our cat! I really appreciate the updates she sent and how tidy she left the house. She really came in clutch on our last minute request!
