Hi! I’m new to rover but not to pet sitting! My name is Kayla, I’m 18, and I have been around animals all my life. I have two dogs of my own, a 3 yo pug and a 12 yo lab mix, so I am well experienced with all different energy levels. I have plenty of experience pet sitting in my neighborhood, with dogs and cats. I even kept an Australian Bearded Dragon in my room for a summer! Additionally, I manage a Instagram account for my Pug, Skola.

Makayla was absolutely amazing! We truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for the care she gave our home and our fur babies. We were incredibly nervous about having someone stay in our home and care for our pets because we had only ever trusted family to watch them. From the very beginning, Makayla put us completely at ease. Before we even booked, she came over to meet us and our fur babies, and they immediately loved her! Even our very shy kitten came right up to her, which told us everything we needed to know. Makayla stayed in our home for two weeks and was absolutely wonderful. She sent us daily updates, photos, and little glimpses of how everyone was doing, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. When we came home, the house was immaculate, and our fur babies were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well loved. It was obvious that Makayla treated our home and pets as if they were her own. We would recommend Makayla without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, caring, and wonderful with animals. She exceeded our expectations in every way, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We will definitely be asking her to watch our fur babies again!
Best Rover ever! Makayla took care of our 4 cats and provided them love, attention and compassion. She fed, played and stepped in as a “fill in parent” when we were gone. She sent updates twice a day with text messages, pictures and videos. Absolutely amazing Rover. Definitely would recommend her!!!
Makayla is a true animal lover in every sense of the word. She has grown up with dogs her entire life and has wonderfully cared for others cats and dogs. She is reliable and will ensure your pet has a wonderful time while being responsible and respectful in your home.
