“We had Alex for a short overnight stay and she was great! She provided us with updates throughout the day… we had no worries while we were away, knowing our dog was being well taken care of. We would love to have Alex again sometime!”

“Linda provided excellent care for our "senior" dog, Hope. During Linda's visit to meet Hope and us, we knew immediately she would provide the love and care for our dog. Lots of communication also after visit to ensure she knew as much information about Hope to help during her watching Hope. Linda's communication, along with lots of photos were so appreciated during our trip. We knew Linda was the perfect choice for us.”

“Errin was fantastic with our dog Lucy! From the meet-and-greet on, she took the time to really get to know Lucy and made her feel comfortable. She was friendly, attentive, and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely book her again and highly recommend her… unless it’s when we need her—then she’s already taken!”

“Jacqueline spent a great deal of time with my pup. She took great care of everything. Multiple walks and cuddles. She was respectful of the space and kept things tidy and clean. Affordable and very reliable.”

“Nina provided attentive care to our two dogs in our home. She provided daily check-ins that gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our 8 days away. She left our house clean and the dogs extremely happy!”

“Kris was fantastic! She was so patient and understanding with our overly nervous and anxious rescue dog. Our dog takes a while to warm up to strangers, so I was very nervous about having someone stay at our house, but Kris made me feel comfortable from the moment she first met our pup. Kris provided thorough communication the entire weekend. I would highly recommend her and definitely hope to have her house sit again!”

“Rachel did an amazing job with our 2 pups!!! She kept us updated and even washed the blanket one of our dogs got sick on which she didn’t have to do at all. The house was very clean when we got home. She followed all instructions. Even did the extras like collecting the mail & bringing up the trash cans. We will be using her again for sure!!”

“Caitlin was wonderful watching my dogs this past weekend. This is my first experience with Rover. She was highly responsive with communication. She came over to my house in advance to meet the dogs in order to ensure a smooth transition, especially given my dogs protective nature. She also walked me through the process and expectations, not having used Rover previously. My dogs took well to her and that was most important! I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Eva did great with our three dogs over an extended (6 night) stay of house sitting. They all have their goofy quirks, so we appreciated her spending the time with them to keep them all happy and healthy. We came back to three very excited and well cared for pups. Would highly recommend.”

“Luliia took care of our two big guys for 10 days, giving them all the love and attention they needed while we were gone. We could rest easy knowing that our dogs were in good hands and someone was watching over our home. When we came home, our house was in better shape than when we left it. Highly recommend — will definitely be using Luliia again!”

“Jessica was wonderful! She sent us photos of our dogs throughout the house sit and left us a detailed note which was appreciated. She left our house very clean as well. We would work with Jessica again!”

“Lia & Steven were wonderful!! Our dogs were so loved and well cared for while we were away. They provided many updates and pictures and were great at communicating! We will absolutely use them again and are so happy we found them!!”

About: I've had animals all my life (from hamsters and goldfish to cats, small and big dogs). I've sat for friends and others who have had big dogs, small dogs, cats and dogs with special needs (administering diabetes injections, medications, diapers, those with mobility issues, etc. and am not intimidated by any condition). I've also been a volunteer for RAGOM (Rescue a Golden of the Midwest) for over 20 years and have transported dogs, interviewed potential adopters with ALWAYS the dog's care in mind for their best forever home. I have just retired recently and have found my calling with my compassion for all animals. I just love their unconditional love and feel so much joy in caring for them! I am recently retired and available all day and all night .. I love to go out and walk/play with my dog every day! My routine would fit whatever is needed by your pet, am very flexible. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have 1/2 acre lot on a corner .... my dog usually goes out on a tie out, but dogs I have sat in my home, I would take out on a leash in the yard and on lots of walks (yes, even in the wee hours of the morning in the winter!) I would do the same or whatever direction the client would request if at their home as well.
“Penny was my favorite sitter so far. She was great at communicating before, during, and after the trip. She left my house almost better than it was before I left. But most importantly, she bonded with my cats. I felt completely at ease while away because I could tell by her messages and photos that she genuinely liked my cats. Bonus... She also has a sense of humor. I will definitely be booking with Penny again.”

“We are so grateful for the amazing care Meghan gave to Rambo and Simba! She was reliable, kind, and kept us updated while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our boys were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we got back. You can truly tell she loves animals and treats them like her own. We highly recommend Meghan and will always be our #1 sitter!”

“My wife and I are very satisfied with Katrina sitting our house, large dog and two cats for two days. We also appreciate her keeping our new outdoor plants watered. Happy to have her house sit again.”

Olivia went above and beyond this week! She extended her stay when my plans changed because of weather and was very flexible with her schedule. She also did some housekeeping tasks that helped me out when I was away, I appreciate her willingness to take care of them for me!

Katherine was great! She is energetic and bubbly...an perfect match of my energetic 1.5 year old Shi-poo. She took her on two walks a day to get all the energy expended. Everything went so smoothly which put my mind at ease when I was traveling. I would highly recommend her and will be booking her in the future.

Mary is a warm, kind and friendly person and was an excellent dog sitter for our two frenchies! She gave them lots of love and they were definitely well cared for during our weekend away. She was a great communicator, and the house was in perfect shape when we returned. We'd love to have Mary watch our dogs again!
