“Thank you!!! Katherine was so helpful, especially given the last minute nature of our booking. Our cats warmed right up to her! Thankful for the reliable help :)”

“Pamela did an amazing job with the kitties. Was there for at least 30 minutes, made sure all was good with food, water and litter boxes. And played with them, which they love. They will miss her visits!”

“Kathy was great and we’ll definitely be repeat customers. She kept us up to date and went the extra mile when she noticed some items we’d forgotten when we left. I highly recommend Kathy.”

“Jona did a wonderful job of caring for my kitty when I was out of town. I was nervous to leave her because she needs insulin shots twice a day. Jona handled it like a pro. She shared cute pictures and updates of how she was doing which made me feel much for comfortable leaving her. I would absolutely rebook Jona! 😃”

“Eden was fantastic taking care of my furballs while I was gone! They loved him and came out to visit every time which is very rare for one of my kitties. I felt great relief knowing they were being taken care of everyday.”

“Alma has looked after my cats before and I reached out to her again for help because I appreciate her open communication. She’s very comfortable with my cats and takes the extra step to help clean up litter during my extended trip away from home.”

“Karen provided us with such peace of mind while my wife and I were on our honeymoon for 8 days. She was very responsive to book and came over to talk through how to take care of our cat. Our cat is not the most social with new people, but he definitely needed some attention over such a long period away from us. We loved the daily messages and pictures!”
“Rachel is an absolute gem! She took such amazing care of our two dogs, Lucy and Cocoa, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the first meet-and-greet, it was clear she’s a true animal lover with a warm, calm presence that immediately put us—and our pups—at ease. She kept us updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious that Lucy and Cocoa were having the time of their lives. Whether it was playtime, snuggles, or sticking to their routines, Rachel handled everything perfectly. We came home to two very happy, well-loved dogs! Rachel is reliable, professional, and just genuinely wonderful. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without her. And just a friendly PSA to other pet parents—Rachel is amazing, but we definitely call first dibs on her! 😄 Highly, highly recommend!”

“Jade was dependable and pleasant to work with. She was so great with our kitties which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. I will definitely be asking her to sit for us again. Thank you, Jade!”

“Linda was amazing! She stepped in last minute after I had a family emergency, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She took such great care of my dog Rory—followed all of my instructions perfectly and went above and beyond what I expected. She was also in constant communication, sending me lots of updates and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. Rory was so happy and well cared for. I’d absolutely recommend Linda to anyone looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and truly dedicated!”

About: I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care possible for all animals - furry friends, scaley critters, and feathery flocks alike! I have 10 years of professional experience caring for animals in a zoological setting, and 30 years experience caring for pets in a household setting. I am confident in my ability to observe and interpret animal behavior, connect and establish trust with animals, and provide reliable, meticulous, and individualized care for your pets while you're away. I am happy to provide my services to a variety of species (cats, dogs, birds, rodents, reptiles, etc.), and treat them with the same loving attention as if they were my own! I know it can be hard to leave your beloved animal family members home alone, so I want to spoil your pets and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! I currently have two cats of my own, so I know how important it is to have trusted care for not only their physical needs, but their mental and emotional needs as well. I would be happy to schedule a meet and greet to get to know each other and help your pets acclimate to a new person. I would love to know what their daily needs and personalities are like so I can provide the highest quality of care possible! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and am in the animal care field. My career pursuits have always been driven by a love for animals, which is why I decided to spend my time pet sitting outside of work. Like all animals, your pets deserve the utmost best and quality care for their health and well-being. Due to my current work schedule, I am available before 6:30am and after 4pm. Wednesday's and Thursday's I have more flexibility. I will get to know your fur babies at their own pace so that they feel safe. I love receiving detailed instructions and descriptions of your pets so that I can help nurture their physical and emotional well-being while you're away! In addition to your pets comfort, I want to make sure you feel comfortable as well. I would love to schedule a meet and greet!
About: I love dogs! I've been fostering dogs with The Bond Between, formerly Secondhand Hounds, for over 5 years. I used to have 2 of my own, a Miniature Poodle and a Shih Tzu, but they both died in June of 2019, one week apart. They were both 15 years old. Ever since then I've been fostering and it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done. Through fostering I've received obedience training and learned numerous tips and tricks for helping dogs to be successful and to find their forever home. I've learned about leash reactivity and how to avoid it, how to do loose leash walking to avoid pulling, and how important it is to keep them looking to me for direction. I've worked with shy, fearful dogs as well as easy going "I love everybody" dogs. Play time and cuddle time are my favorite things about being with dogs. My own personal preference is to let dogs on the couch with me and sleep in my bed at night. But I've done a bit of dog sitting for former foster dogs and fully respect the new owners’ expectations and boundaries. My goal is to do what makes you and your dog happy. I live alone in a townhouse so there are only my foster dogs and no children in the mix. I have a small front yard so all outside time will be on a leash and/or on a walk. I can't wait to meet your dog! NOTE: My 10% rating for sending photos is a bit misleading because I send them to personal cell phone numbers for convenience, therefore they don’t get tracked. But 100% of my clients receive photos and videos multiple times per day. I'm currently working a full time job from home, so I can attend to your dog's needs throughout the day and my break times are very flexible. I'm pretty much a home body, enjoying as much dog time as I can get! My house is set up for dogs more than people! I have area rugs down for senior dogs that have a hard time walking on a smooth surface. I have a small gated pen set up for separating dogs during feeding times and I gate off the stairs to go upstairs unless I'm up there with the dogs. I also have 2 crates with the doors open if a dog wants their own small safe space. I supervise all eating times and always put dogs on a leash when outside. I have multiple dog beds and comfy sleeping spots throughout my house.
“Anne was great! We appreciated her availability last minute and on a holiday. Our dogs can be a lot to handle and she was very loving. Her drop in was very thorough and she gave our pups plenty of time to be out and running around before going back into their kennels. Thanks Anne!”

“Amazing! My cat is shy and she would come out and sit with Josey. She also brought over some toys for my cat Kiki and she really loves them. Did all I asked regarding cat care and was very nice and friendly to work with!”

This was my second time having Kathy stop in daily to check on my cat while I was away! Kathy is a very attentive sitter and gives a lot of detail in the daily report cards. She was very flexible when I ended up needing to extend my travels for 2 days and agreed without hesitation to stop by those extra days, easing my worries while I was away. My cat loves her as I can tell from the cute photos she takes playing together :)

Karen did a fantastic job taking care of our cats while we were away! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cares deeply for animals. We came home to happy, relaxed kitties and appreciated the photos during each visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!
