I currently have a job as a Veterinary Surgical Technician. My shifts are 4 days of the week, and 10 hours long (7am-5:30pm). I have weekends off.

A typical day
I love attempting small training techniques and playing with animals at the same time. That way your pet is learning and having fun simultaneously! Something I’ve recently learned about is YouTube videos for pets, which mine seem to enjoy a lot.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken animal science classes at the School Of Environmental Studies. I graduated from Dakota County Technical College with my Associates degree in Veterinary Technology, and I passed my VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam) to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I have loads of pet care experience and own 17 pets of my own. Feel free to ask about them if you’re curious 😉.

Alma did a great job with our cat! We really appreciated the photos and details we got while we were gone. We could tell our cat got plenty of attention while we were gone because he didn’t run to the door and meow at us like he does when he’s been alone!
