We take care of our own 6 cats while fostering cats & kittens for a rescue organization. Taking caring of cats is an important part of our daily lives.

We have dedicated one room in our home for the cats & kittens we foster. We also have four "cat condos" in our large sunroom, that we use to board cats. When we take care of cats in their own homes, we visit up to twice daily, setting out food and fresh water and we clean all litter boxes once daily. We also offer companionship (ie a lap to sit on, petting, brushing) for all interested cats!

It's nice to know about a cat's preferences for playing, sleeping and eating ahead of time. We like to set up an area which is comforting to a cat, so knowing a bit about their personality and habits helps us support them better.
A typical day
We always meet a cat where they are at, socially. We have a lot of different cat toys. We have a variety of cat trees, beds, cushions and windows for looking outside.

Cat care experience
My husband and I have 5 cats of our own and we have fostered cats/kittens for a rescue organization for over 9 years. We have experience with pregnant cats, kittens, aging cats, hospice care, administering medications, feeding tubes, administering insulin shots, trimming claws, live-trapping feral cats and socialization of cats/kittens.

Wendy and Rick have an amazing set up for the cats. Shelley and Sadie had a great time with them. Sadie who is usually timid around men even came to Rick and let her hold him!!! I am so grateful for their services and flexibility while I am going through the house sell, buy and moving process. Will be using them again in a few weeks for my actual move and will use them in the future as well.
It’s so nice to be able to go on vacation and know that Wendy and Rick will take great care of our cats. And our cats like them! We can relax and not worry while we’re away. That’s priceless!
They are so lovely, I immediately felt at ease upon meeting them. When we got back from our trip our cats were relaxed and happy-I could tell they had been really well cared for.
Wendy and Rick took great care of my cat and house. Fed my cat and cleaned her litter box, cleaned and filled my bird bath and checked to see that my plants had enough water. Great service! I'd hire them again.
