I have a written routine for all of my own pets at home that I've blended in with my own daily routine. I've been caring for pets for 17 years, so it's easy for me to prioritize their care and it comes quite naturally to me; your pet's care will receive that same level of priority!

I would like to know how your pet reacts to a stressful situation to best understand their personality and always know what to do first to keep your pet safe and happy. My dog has anxiety, so I know firsthand how to help anxious pups!
A typical day
My house is a 2 minute drive from Lebanon Hills Regional Park and less than 10 minutes from the Eagan dog park; I have multiple dog seatbelts in my car for all transport. I have many Kong toys and lick mats that I can stuff with wet dog food or peanut butter and freeze to keep your dog entertained for a while (repeated licking also helps calm anxious dogs)! My dog is majorly spoiled and has just about every dog toy that exists, so your dog is bound to find a favorite to play with. I have multiple dog and cat beds (or you can bring your own) and allow pets on all furniture if allowed by you. I have baby gates with pet doors that lock, so if your dog needs some space to relax on their own, I can provide them with a comfortable, private haven if desired.

Hey there, I’m Sierra and I thank you for looking at my profile today! I have taken care of multiple pets since I was a child and now independently care for my own dog (raised by myself since she was 8 weeks old), kitten, senior cat, rabbit, and fish. I previously worked as a professional pet sitter and dog walker for a Twin Cities-based private pet care company in 2020, so I have experience regularly writing updates (along with photos, I've gotten pretty good at those!) for my clients. I began caring for dogs and cats in my neighborhood 15 years ago, doing drop-in visits and walks, along with having a dog, guinea pigs, and fish all my life, so my experience is abundant. I have experience administering oral and injectable medications for both dogs and cats; my dog previously took two oral medications daily as well as a weekly injectable medication. I have had a similar experience with cats. I have knowledge from owning my own dog in regards to assisting with crate training/potty training, leash and walking skills, basic tricks, and more. I am more than happy to follow any requests you have to help maintain the training your pet currently receives! I believe having a happy pet is one of the greatest joys in life and I'd love to be a source of support for you and your best friend!
