About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. About: I've been helping friends and family out with their pets since I was in junior high. I'm comfortable with all types of dogs and I love being outside. I'm reliable, communicative, and will always make sure your dog is taken care of. I work full time and I don't have the schedule or house set up to accommodate my own dog right now but since I can make my own schedule with Rover it allows me to still spend time with dogs and also help out owners. I currently don't have a fenced in yard so I will either walk your dog or supervise them in my backyard. My house is small but comfortable and is easy for your pet to move around in.

About: I am experienced in caring for all sorts of animals; from your standard dogs and cats to lizards, birds, fish, and bunnies. Personally my own pets were a cat, salamander, fish and a dog. I currently have no pets of my own which means I have tons of love with which I can shower your animals. I also have experience with giving animals medication. I work a job during the day from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, but am able to spend overnights with your animals as well as weekends or holidays (my family is local so I don't travel over holidays). I am available for dog walking, in-home/overnight care, or daily drop-in care. I want to make sure that the transition is as smooth as possible between my care and yours so I try to keep your pet's schedule as close to your current regimen as possible. I care for every animal as if they were my own and currently have no pets of my own which allows me to give all my attention to your furry friends. Before caring for your pets I love to get a little bit of a house tour to learn where you keep the food, treats, litterboxes, litter for the boxes, toys, etc. Additionally if you have your pet's vet information and/or list of nearby emergency pet clinics this is always appreciated information which I hope I never need to use but is good to keep on hand.

Julie was fantastic! She clearly understands cat body language and genuinely enjoys spending time with cats, which was very important to us. Our cat, Pepper, is extremely social, and it was obvious Julie enjoyed visiting and playing with her. She also took so many adorable, high-quality photos during each visit, which gave us peace of mind and made being away from Pepper much easier. Julie followed all of our care instructions carefully, including Pepper's feeding routine, and kept the litter boxes clean throughout our trip. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat.
