About: -Spent a summer working as a veterinary assistant. Duties included: bringing pets into the clinic, weighing pets, assisting vets with vaccinations, serving as a liaison between customers, reception, and veterinarians. -3 years Winona Humane Society volunteer. Duties included: dog walking, dog and cat socialization. -Owned 4 dogs growing up! Assisted with medications, training, feeding, walking, etc. Available after 2 or 3:00pm during the weekdays for drop ins, dog/cat sitting, or dog walking. Can be made available on weekends as well. Growing up with 4 dogs and spending time volunteering at an animal shelter has taught me that pet care is all about routine and love! It is crucial to make sure your pets have regular meal times, daily walks, and plenty of playtime!

About: Caring for pets has been a part of my life for a long time, through both pets of our own and foster pets! We’ve been fostering for the past decade and have cared for over 30 dogs and cats. I have experience with dogs with all kinds of personalities, including shy, anxious, and reactive. My favorite thing about animals is they all have their own personalities, and I love learning about who they are! My approach is to meet pets where they’re at and let them set the pace for our interactions, especially those who need a little extra time to feel comfortable with someone new. Senior dogs have an especially big place in my heart, as we have two of our own, and I’m very comfortable with the extra patience and care older pups sometimes need. I’ve also fostered and spent time with dogs of many breeds, sizes, and personalities, including bully breeds which are always welcome! I work a hybrid schedule, and will spend most of my day with your pet. When I leave, it will generally be no longer than about 4 hours at a time, whether for work or to see my own pets and family. If I expect I’ll need to be gone longer than this at any point during the stay, I’ll let you know before booking! I will treat your home as a guest in it; I’m tidy and will clean up after me and your pets! What is helpful for me to know is what your pet’s typical day looks like, if they have any favorite or important parts to their routine, and ways they like to get stimulation (walk, play, puzzles). Where do they sleep? As much information as you can tell me about your pet is better so I can keep things as normal for them as possible!

About: Hi, I’m Taylor! 🐾 I have always grown up around animals, and adopted my first rescue pup at 25. These days, I usually have a foster dog (or two!) keeping us company as well. Dogs are pretty much the best and biggest part of my world, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I’m experienced in caring for pups of all kinds, from tiny 5 week-old litters of puppies, to sweet 13 year-old seniors, and everything in between. I'm very well-versed in the quirks, routines, hilarious personalities, and occasional chaos that make every dog unique. I also work remotely, which means I have lots of flexibility and can spend plenty of time with your pets throughout the day. I know that leaving your pup can be stressful—for both of you! My goal is to make the experience as easy and reassuring as possible, so your dog feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Having some high-maintenance pups of my own, I’m very much a “whatever makes your dog happy” kind of sitter. Need me to “cook” their dinner a very specific way? Sure. Does the backyard require a ceremonial song before your dog will go outside? I’m ready. Does your pup need three blankets, a particular bedtime routine, and a bedtime snack? Consider it done! I promise to treat your pets like they’re my own—with lots of love, patience, attention, and plenty of belly rubs. I work remotely, so our pups tend to have a pretty flexible schedule. We adventure out on a walk every day, finding new spots for my pups to sniff out. I make sure that they have regular breaks outside and a consistent feeding schedule, and we spend the majority of the day together. I have a fully fenced in yard, privacy fence on all four sides. I keep a very tidy home and have a finished basement level with plenty of room for play time. Pets are allowed on furniture and have free reign of the house, unless otherwise specified by their human.

I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is very flexible! I am happy to work around your schedule and accommodate as best as I can! In my home, pets get a calm, pet-friendly space and plenty of attention. In your home, I stick as closely as possible to your pet's normal routine: the same feeding times, portions, walk schedule, and bedtime habits. I'll make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes are scooped, any medications are given exactly as directed, and doors and windows are secured before I leave. For dogs, that means walks, potty breaks, and playtime; for cats, it means quiet company, play, and a close eye on appetite and litter habits, since those are often the first signs something's off. Either way, I'll send photos and updates after every visit so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. If anything seems unusual, I'll contact you right away and won't hesitate to get vet care if it's needed.

I have worked at a vet clinic for 9 years. I am consistent and reliable. I have reliable transportation. I know boarding can get expensive, so hopefully I can alleviate some of the financial strain while keeping your pet happy! I’m currently available anytime throughout the week and weekends except for Wednesday evenings after 5 pm and Sundays before noon. My availability is very flexible! About: I've had dogs my entire life. Many of my neighbors and friends trust me to take care of their dogs while at work or on vacation.
