About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs, and today I share my home with my two sweet&sassy cats, so I understand the unique needs and personalities of both. For two years, I volunteered at the Detroit Animal Shelter, where I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. I’ve also been fostering with Twin Cities Pet Rescue for over two years, providing a safe, loving home for animals while helping prepare them for adoption. Through fostering, I’ve cared for newborn kittens, adult cats, senior cats, and animals with a variety of medical and behavioral needs. I’m experienced administering oral medications, eye medications, and injections, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with special medical needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I can promise I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own and will provide plenty of updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Although I work full time, my position is remote and flexible. I’m able to do half-hour lunch walks, as well as full week night and weekend availability for long walks. Because I’m able to work anywhere, I can spend ample time with pets I’m house sitting as I can work directly from your home! When I care for pets in their own homes, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, litter box or potty routines, and any other preferences you have for your pet’s care. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level. Some pets love to play and be active, while others prefer quiet companionship or extra patience while they warm up to someone new. I’ll always respect their boundaries and let them set the pace. I’m experienced administering oral medications, eye medications, and injections when needed, and I’ll keep a close eye on your pet’s health, behavior, and overall well-being during every visit. I’ll also make sure your home is left just as I found it, cleaning up after meals, accidents, litter boxes, or muddy paws as needed. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos so you know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, confident, and at ease throughout the entire experience.

About: No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. As a lifelong animal lover, I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our spare time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. I am more than comfortable getting to know your own pets' quirks and finding ways to keep their days consistent and stress-free. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. We walk frequently every day to help burn energy -- I like to let my dogs walk at their pace so they can sniff around and stimulate their brains while getting exercise. As someone with pets I understand the importance of trust-building in drop-in visit situations. As your schedule permits, we can meet beforehand via a meet and greet to get a feel for your schedule and space, and how to support your comfort and your pets'. Pets thrive with routine, and I strive to support that.

About: I have had a family dog my entire life and take care of her while my parents are gone. I walk, feed, and play with her every day. I also have experience with puppies! Pet care is a natural part of my routine, throughout my childhood and now. Daily walks with my dog Lily are also a way that I relax in the morning and evenings and enjoy them as much as she does! I feed our family dog Lily twice daily. She receives two walks daily in the mornings and evenings, and a few times a week she runs off-leash in our local golf course. She loves treats and playing with toys!

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, a bearded dragon, and a whole lot of fish. I have a soft spot for spicy cats as I have one of my own. Currently, live in a space where I can't have a dog but if I could it would be a loveable rescue who loves to play and to go on walks. I've taken care of many friends and family pets over the years and excited to make some new furry (and scaly) friends! Through the summer my schedule is very flexible. I work at an elementary school as a reading tutor so during the school year I am available late afternoons/evenings and weekends. I am organized, outgoing, and friendly and as long as you have detailed instructions I feel confident taking care of your pets in your home.

About: I grew up with dogs in my home from birth, and had up to 4 dogs in my house all at different ages. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, bathe, and sit for their doggies since I was 8 or nine years old. I have experience working with puppies all the way to senior dogs at the end of their lives. I specifically cared for two of my own senior dogs by providing homemade food, cleaning up accidents, and providing a safe location to go through seizures. I am just beginning to re enter the work force after being a student for the last 4 years, and want to see your animals on the weekends to keep me sane. I am up early to walk my own dog each day so can I do early morning let outs/ walks as well as daytime and evening or even overnight care. I am able to come to your home to care for your pet with great daily flexibility. I have a vehicle, so I can easily pop over and let out your pet or feed them/ change a litter box. I can also do a home stay for whatever period of time is needed.

About: I grew up with dogs, mostly yellow Labrador retrievers. I also had a dog of my own through college and lived with 3 dogs for several years, so I am comfortable with feeding, walking, etc. I am working part-time in the mornings, so I have full afternoons and weekends available for pet care. My children are also with me at all times. I have a fenced in yard for safe playing outdoors, and two children who enjoy playing with dogs, so we can keep your dog safe and entertained

I buy a lottery ticket each week in hopes of creating a sanctuary for so many of my four legged friends. I have ability to provide daily care for your families dog at your home. Daily care means nutrition, attention and play, besides any other care requested. I approach all dogs with care, letting them know i am listening to them in all ways, physically and emotionally. About: Growing up in a house of animals, and having a small zoo of my own (2 dogs and 2 cats), I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have dog and cat sat for friends for years. I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I understand that all Walks aren't created equal. My Walks always vary based off of the needs of the dog. I am also an avid cat lover. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. I am a believer in letting animals come to you. I have experience with a kennel trained and unkennel trained dogs. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I am experienced in walking all sizes of dogs.

About: I grew up in a home with all kinds of pets, and I am very responsible with pet care (paying attention to safety, dietary needs, etc). I have owned cats, dogs (from Chihuahua to giant Mastiff) and I've even owned a snake. I am my family and friends "go-to pet sitter", when they are away on trips. And pets love me, because I speak their language...which is lots of snuggles and sweet talk! And walks! I am currently working full-time, but can be with your pet in the evenings - Mon thru Fri, and have an open schedule on the weekends. I will come to you! And since I have often done sleepovers for friends and family, while they're away on a trip, I am very trusted to pay attention to their pets' feeding schedules, dietary needs, and potty/walking routines. I am a responsible pet owner myself, and I believe strongly in the health and safety of pets, so they will be safe with me AND we'll have a great time together! I'm also pretty good at getting some cute photos for you!
