About: I grew up in a home with all kinds of pets, and I am very responsible with pet care (paying attention to safety, dietary needs, etc). I have owned cats, dogs (from Chihuahua to giant Mastiff) and I've even owned a snake. I am my family and friends "go-to pet sitter", when they are away on trips. And pets love me, because I speak their language...which is lots of snuggles and sweet talk! And walks! *PRICING* - Rover adds certain extra fees, which I can adjust only after a booking. About: I have been around dogs since I was born. I helped raise my childhood dog from a puppy to a senior and saw every transition that came with. I helped two of my roommates raise their dogs while I lived with them and I have been dog sitting on and off for friends and family for years I’m working at an internship part time while I wait to start teaching in the fall. I have a lot of free time on the weekends and I would love to spend it catering to the needs of sweet dogs. I would make sure to gather plenty of information from the client to make sure the dogs have the best time they can while their parents are away. About: Caring for animals has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and owned several of my own as an adult, so I know firsthand what it means to love an animal like family and what owners need when they hand them off to someone else. I'm comfortable with the full range of needs: puppies, senior pets, animals with medical conditions or special diets, and multiple pets at once. I've administered daily medications, followed strict feeding routines, and handled it all without missing a beat. Because I don't currently have pets of my own, I bring a lot of enthusiasm to every sit. Honestly, I miss having animals around and your pets get the full benefit of that. I take this seriously enough that clients have flown me across the country to care for their animals, which I think says more than anything else I could write in a bio. About: Andrew grew up taking care of family dogs, and Katie grew up caring for family cats. Together, our family had a dog for over 12 years who recently passed away. We love animals and find joy in caring for them! Katie works full time from home so is available to take wonderful care of your pet! On the weekends, our entire family is home and can provide care and plenty of time for play for your pet! We have a fenced in yard and currently no animals of our own in our house. We are also available to come to your home for walks or to spend time with your pet during the day.

About: Experience: While I may be new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to pet sitting! I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life - having experience with my own family dogs (both over and under 100lbs) as well as friends' and extended family's furbabies. I absolutely love dogs and firmly hold the belief that all dogs are good dogs - even if they might seem a little unruly at times. Special Treatment/Services: Training: I’m not a certified trainer and don’t claim to be one. If you keep my services for long enough that I have a chance to connect with your dog and understand his or her needs, and you would like me to work with them on basic commands I am definitely willing to give it my best shot! I’ve been extremely successful in the past with helping dogs learn their manners while on a leash, and have even been successful at the occasional “sit/shake” routine. Medications: I’m well versed in how to administer oral medications for both dogs and cats, but will not be able to administer vaccines or other intravenous medications. Special diets, flea collars, and pills are all well known to me and I can administer or apply them to your dog with ease. Grooming: I have both hose and bathtub experience with giving dogs a bath, so long as I know which shampoo they use. My mom was a certified pet groomer for several years, so I learned how to properly brush, bathe, and trim nails. If your dog manages to jump in a pile of mud or needs a good brush out, I’ll be able to do those things so long as you have the supplies on-hand. If you would like me to come over specifically to bathe or groom your dog, please note that I am not a certified groomer and have absolutely no experience or comfort around cutting hair or doing specialty grooming services. Car Rides: If you give the OK, your dog isn’t anxious in cars, and the weather is appropriate, I love taking dogs on adventures to parks and other local destinations in St. Paul. It’s great socialization for your dog, and a whole lot of fun! Drop-Ins: I make every minute about your pet until they’re successfully tired out. If they aren’t very active or don’t need much in the way of care, I will always stay for the full 30 minutes just to keep them company and offer lots of affection. If your pet has a feeding time during my drop in, please let me know and give instructions on their meal routine (do they have special food? do they need to do something before they eat like sit or wait? do I take the bowl away at a certain time? etc) so I can make sure they eat and I don't mess up any training you've done. Routines are everything for dogs and I would hate to miss part of their routine out of ignorance. I’ll do my best to keep track of any “accidents” they may have had between the time you left and the time I arrived, and I’ll clean up to the best of my ability. You’ll be the first to know if something unusual is happening or if I need assistance in understanding your dog’s behavior. House Sitting: I have 10 years worth of experience house sitting for friends and family who have both dogs and cats. I'm totally willing to stay at your home if that is what your furry friend needs! While I'm with your pet at home, you can expect that I will keep everything exactly as I found it. I keep my own home very tidy and I do enjoy cleaning, so you may come home to clean dishes and a vacuumed or swept floor, but there's no need to worry about rearranged furniture, damage to your home, or theft of any kind. I'm not that type of person, and I hope to have your trust on that. If your dog has special needs, I'm probably not the house sitter you're looking for. While I do have experience with special needs pets and am more than happy to schedule a Drop-In, my schedule isn’t suited for a special needs pet. Availability: Im a full-time healthcare worker, so my schedule is a little crazy but surprisingly consistent! I keep my availability updated as much as possible to reflect that. The bottom line is this: I adore all types of pets and would love to meet your furry friend!

About: I stand out as a dog walking partner because I focus on more than just getting your dog outside—I make sure each walk is safe, structured, and enjoyable for your pup. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual energy level, behavior, and needs, whether they prefer a relaxed sniff walk or a more active pace. I’m reliable, consistent, and communicative, and I always provide updates so you know how your dog is doing while you’re away. I’m especially patient with dogs who may be shy, excited, or still learning leash manners, and I’m comfortable handling a variety of personalities. While I’m not a formal trainer, I reinforce good leash behavior and positive habits during walks. I’m also mindful of senior dogs who may need slower pacing, extra care, or shorter, more comfortable outings. My goal is simple: to make every walk something your dog looks forward to and something you feel confident about. I go on daily walks which can range from 1-5 miles. I also work hybrid 2 days out of the week I am home so I can run errands while I work off my phone. I am a highly active person and live being outdoors when I can be. I am not offering care for pets in my own home yet since I am new this but eventually once I get the hang of out things go I will consider adding this service onto my profile.

About: I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine. About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: Growing up in a house of animals, and having a small zoo of my own (2 dogs and 2 cats), I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have dog and cat sat for friends for years. I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I understand that all Walks aren't created equal. My Walks always vary based off of the needs of the dog. I am also an avid cat lover. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. I am a believer in letting animals come to you. I have experience with a kennel trained and unkennel trained dogs. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I am experienced in walking all sizes of dogs.

About: I am experienced in caring for all sorts of animals; from your standard dogs and cats to lizards, birds, fish, and bunnies. Personally my own pets were a cat, salamander, fish and a dog. I currently have no pets of my own which means I have tons of love with which I can shower your animals. I also have experience with giving animals medication. I work a job during the day from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, but am able to spend overnights with your animals as well as weekends or holidays (my family is local so I don't travel over holidays). I am available for dog walking, in-home/overnight care, or daily drop-in care. I want to make sure that the transition is as smooth as possible between my care and yours so I try to keep your pet's schedule as close to your current regimen as possible. I care for every animal as if they were my own and currently have no pets of my own which allows me to give all my attention to your furry friends. Before caring for your pets I love to get a little bit of a house tour to learn where you keep the food, treats, litterboxes, litter for the boxes, toys, etc. Additionally if you have your pet's vet information and/or list of nearby emergency pet clinics this is always appreciated information which I hope I never need to use but is good to keep on hand.
