“Heather did absolutely amazing with my pups! I am always nervous about having new people around my pups, but Heather connected with them really well and it was obvious she cared for them. Highly recommend!”

“Allison was great. She was very attentive to my cat and she was very understanding of the needs of a senior cat. I got regular updates and pictures and Allison put my cat, and me, very much at ease.”

About: Hi, I’m Emily! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I feel so lucky to turn that passion into a career. I’ve worked as a wedding pet attendant, dog groomer, training, and even at a vet hospital—so I’m comfortable with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is full of energy or a little shy, I meet them where they’re at and treat them like my own. I’d love the chance to get to know your furry family member and make their day a little brighter! Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life—I truly build my schedule around it. Whether I’m out walking dogs, checking in on pets, or helping with training, being around animals keeps me grounded and happy. I treat each visit like quality time, not just a task to check off. I’m used to working with a variety of pets throughout the week, so I’m very flexible and always make sure I have time to give each one the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow your routines so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special needs like medications or training cues. I keep things clean and calm, and make sure your pet gets lots of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. If your pup is staying in my home, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I provide a cozy, safe environment with plenty of supervised play, cuddles, and outdoor time. I always prioritize their comfort and make sure they have everything they need to feel right at home.
“Meredith did an amazing job taking care of my Cat! She has great communication, provides a thoughtful update, and does a great job with pets. Highly recommend!”

“Olivia was great! It's our first time to use Rover, and we're glad we chose the right sitter. Our kitties loved her and one of them showed his belly which is his sign of approval! One of them vomited (which she cleaned up) and she came back that same night on her own initiative to check on them, which was very much appreciated.”

“Joanna did a great job checking in on my kitty Peaches. She reliably showed up as promised, communicated well, shared pictures and my cat loved her. She was good at telling with Peaches was in the mood to play or in the mood to cuddle and gave her all the love she craved. I will definitely have Joanna look in on Peaches again in the future. Highly recommend.”

About: I have recently gotten into dog sitting. I have experience taking care of dogs of different breeds and temperaments. I love every type of dog. I am a college student that is home for the summer with a lot of flexibility and a desire to make some extra cash to support myself I ensure that there is nothing harmful to my pets near my pet or anywhere they can get into. Caring for animals is my top priority and will do anything in my power to keep them safe.

About: I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine. I am currently working part-time so I am available and ready to handle pet care most days of the week, including weekends. More, I am able to do early morning and late night care. I can create a safe environment for your pet by finding their comfort and acknowledging what they need within the home. Likewise, on walks, I am able to handle large dogs and other animal contact, making sure your pet stays safe in my care.

About: I’ve spent time looking after a variety of dogs and cats, including my own. I love spending time with animals and meeting new ones. :) I am only employed part time but have a flexible schedule and can afford plenty of time to spend playing, walking or feeding your pet The best skill in pet care is adaptability. Know when a pet wants to play, wants space or just wants company. I have met animals of all kinds.
About: I stand out as a dog walking partner because I focus on more than just getting your dog outside—I make sure each walk is safe, structured, and enjoyable for your pup. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual energy level, behavior, and needs, whether they prefer a relaxed sniff walk or a more active pace. I’m reliable, consistent, and communicative, and I always provide updates so you know how your dog is doing while you’re away. I’m especially patient with dogs who may be shy, excited, or still learning leash manners, and I’m comfortable handling a variety of personalities. While I’m not a formal trainer, I reinforce good leash behavior and positive habits during walks. I’m also mindful of senior dogs who may need slower pacing, extra care, or shorter, more comfortable outings. My goal is simple: to make every walk something your dog looks forward to and something you feel confident about. I go on daily walks which can range from 1-5 miles. I also work hybrid 2 days out of the week I am home so I can run errands while I work off my phone. I am a highly active person and live being outdoors when I can be. I am not offering care for pets in my own home yet since I am new this but eventually once I get the hang of out things go I will consider adding this service onto my profile.

About: I asked for a dog for Christmas every single year while I was growing up. My dad had his reasons, so the next best thing was to walk my neighbors Pomeranian (named Snuggles), which I did aaaaalllll the time. In college, I would dog sit for my coach here and there. My brother has a golden retriever that I have spent a lot of time with. And recently, I had my first experience of having my own dog. Technically it was my roommates dog, but I loved her like she was mine. I would take her on walks just because and when my roommate was out of the country for 2 weeks, I was the dog auntie. I'm a middle school math teacher, so I have ALL the availability in the summer. Once the school year rolls around, I'll be available in the evenings and on the weekends. I am more than willing to have your pet in my car if we need to get to walking trails, lakes, and other pet friendly places to walk. This would only be if you are comfortable with me taking your pet to a different location, otherwise I am happy to do neighborhood walks.
About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.
About: I have had a family dog my entire life and take care of her while my parents are gone. I walk, feed, and play with her every day. I also have experience with puppies! Pet care is a natural part of my routine, throughout my childhood and now. Daily walks with my dog Lily are also a way that I relax in the morning and evenings and enjoy them as much as she does! I feed our family dog Lily twice daily. She receives two walks daily in the mornings and evenings, and a few times a week she runs off-leash in our local golf course. She loves treats and playing with toys!

About: Caring for animals has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and owned several of my own as an adult, so I know firsthand what it means to love an animal like family and what owners need when they hand them off to someone else. I'm comfortable with the full range of needs: puppies, senior pets, animals with medical conditions or special diets, and multiple pets at once. I've administered daily medications, followed strict feeding routines, and handled it all without missing a beat. Because I don't currently have pets of my own, I bring a lot of enthusiasm to every sit. Honestly, I miss having animals around and your pets get the full benefit of that. I take this seriously enough that clients have flown me across the country to care for their animals, which I think says more than anything else I could write in a bio. If you're looking for someone who will love your pets like their own and give you genuine peace of mind while you're away, I'd love to meet both you and them. Pet care isn't something I squeeze into my day. It is my day. I'm fully available and not juggling a rigid 9-to-5, which means your pets get consistent attention and care throughout the day rather than just morning and evening check-ins. Walks, feeding times, medications, cuddles, everything happens on their schedule, not mine. Whether you need someone for a quick drop-in or an extended house sit, I'm flexible and can make it work. I primarily care for pets in their own home because I believe animals are happiest in a familiar environment. Uprooting them from their space adds unnecessary stress, and keeping them in their element means they stay calmer, eat better, and settle in faster. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I stick to your pet's existing routine as closely as possible, follow all instructions to the letter, and keep everything clean and tidy throughout my stay. I send regular photo updates so you always know how things are going without having to ask. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy pet and a home that looks exactly as you left it. The trust you place in me when you hand over your keys and your animals is something I take seriously, and I make sure you feel that from day one.

Jennifer B. Was absolutely amazing over the weekend! She did drop-in visits for our 4 dogs Finn, Izzi, Coco and Lulu and kept me completely updated with frequent photos and messages. She even went above and beyond by cleaning up unexpected messes without any complaints. Managing a pack of four requires a lot of skill, and she handles it flawlessly. Truly professional, highly communicative, and fantastic with our pups. I will definitely be booking her again. Mary M

Andrea is incredibly dog savvy and on top of that, just a stellar person! She truly cared for Willa in a way that exceeded all expectations I had. I trusted her completely in my home. She was easy to work with, and kind and congenial in all of our conversations. I’d recommend her immediately to anyone looking for pet care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
