I've earned a vet assisting certification from high school and hold a bachelor's degree in biology. My experience as a veterinary technician in various clinics has honed my skills in animal handling, medication administration, and ensuring their safety. Over the years, I've lovingly provided exceptional care and affection to pets belonging to family and friends. Whether your pets are energetic puppies or cherished senior companions, I am here to provide them with the specialized care they deserve. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and understand their unique needs. In fact, I owned a 16-year-old childhood dog, whom I cherished since second grade, and a beloved 7-year-old cat 🐱. While in vet school, my schedule varies each week based on my coursework. However, please don't hesitate to reach out, and I will do my best to accommodate your pet's needs by adjusting my schedule accordingly. Your pet's well-being is a top priority for me, and I'll strive to ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I understand and respect the boundaries when caring for pets in both my own home and clients' homes. While I won't be able to offer in-home services, I prioritize maintaining a clean and safe environment for pets. About: I've cared for two dogs as I grew up, and look forward to caring for more. I have done many long walks and dog park hiking with my golden doodle, and have also done some training as well. I know how to take care of puppies and adult dogs, but would love to learn how to take care of special needs and senior dogs. Dogs, like mine, are energetic and need lots of exercise, so I am always willing to play or exercise with dogs. Over the summer (June-August), I am free most afternoons and some evenings the whole week. During the school year, (September-May) I am more available during the weekends, but still free during some afternoon/evenings during the week, which I'll update as I get my schedule. At home, I care for my dog by giving him plenty of snuggles, but also getting up and playing with him when he lets me know he wants to play. I am alert and can sense what my dog may need, such as going potty, playing, or eating. When walking/going to the dog park, I watch over my dog at all times, and walk along with him. During walks, I make sure that he is safe to walk and sniff the whole time. At dog parks, I encourage him to meet other dogs and run around while still being present. I notice when my dog gets tired or needs water, and I am prepared by bringing a water bottle.

About: My family has ALWAYS had large dogs, in addition to cats and other animals. I love walking dogs and playing with them. I know how much personalities vary. I know how to deal with skittish dogs. I work until 2 pm most days and am free after that. I am very flexible outside of this. I have a calendar that will enable me to keep track of all appointments. At this time, I would only be able to take care of animals at the client's home. I will follow instruction to the letter, especially with medications or special diets.

In my client’s home, I make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box care, and medications are handled exactly as instructed. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and any behavioral or medical needs. For dogs, I focus on safe, structured walks, positive reinforcement, and calm handling. For cats, I provide attentive care while respecting their boundaries, keeping their environment clean, and offering affection at their comfort level. I always prioritize safety, clear communication, and leave detailed updates so pet parents feel confident their pets are in good hands.

She gave me all of the updates, sent pics and videos, took her on a long walk (but also paid attention to B’s energy levels and gave her what she felt was appropriate) and monitored her food knowing she’d be anxious since we are gone. I wouldn’t have had such a good trip away if it hadn’t been for Margaret. Beanie LOVES her and we can see her jumping at the window in the camera when Margaret comes to the door. I’m a second-year student at the University of Minnesota and love spending my free time caring for animals. While my weekday schedule is limited due to classes, I’m fully available on Fridays and would be happy to dedicate that time to pet care. Since I care for pets in their own homes, I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. About: Ever since I can remember I’ve had animals around me, giving them all the love and spoiling them just a little too much. I am guilty of liking animals slightly more than humans and have always had an extra soft spot for cats but i also love dogs and will make sure they always have their tail wagging❣️ My schedule is very flexible which makes being a pet sitter the perfect side job for me, except I really don’t consider it a job because I enjoy it so much :) 2 of my favorite things ever are animals and nature so the fact there is a job for this is amazing 🌸 so excited to meet your fur baby I will make sure your fur baby is well taken care of by making sure they are on a safe path while walking, on a reliable leash, treats in pocket to reward good behavior, and poo bags to stay respectful of others. As for cat sitting, I literally do not get tired of giving kitties attention and snuggles, keeping their food as full as you want and litter box thoroughly clean while you’re away. I’m adaptable to doing any extra care your cat needs.

About: I've cared for a variety of pet animals over the years, and currently own two cats of my own who I raised from kittenhood, one who was even prematurely removed from his mother. I'm currently doing mostly online schooling so with proper notice I can work with any type of sitting needs, no matter how odd the job. I'm able to board pets of any type, as I have more than enough space to seperate or integrate as your individual pet requires for a comfortable stay! I also have the flexibility to be within your home for any amount of time your pet needs.
