About: I have a full time job working with people with disabilities. I currently have two cats. I was a dog owner. I would love to have a hobby farm one day to rescue animals of all kinds. I have plenty of house sitting experience and fur baby sitting experience. I would love to help out a busy person when I am able to. Weekends I am usually available fully, during the week it would be around and in between work hours..breaks ect. or how ever we decide the schedule will be based on our schedules and your needs. About: Someone who grew up with at least two rescue dogs in the house at all time, a few cats and horses, I've taken care of animals of all sizes, breeds, personalities, ages, and needs throughout my lifetime. I've even seen kittens born! I raised and loved the one I chose to mine, finally saying goodbye when she reached the ripe age of 21. Whether it is puppies / kittens, mid-life, or elderly I have experienced all the life stages of our fur babies. I've also dealt with the not so fun parts of being a fur baby parent. From cleaning up hairballs or puke because the dog decided to eat grass, cleaning a dog who decided it was a good idea to go for a swim in the pond, or literally breaking up cat fights... I've been there. Because I teach, and right now school is out, I would be home during the majority of the day during the summer for pet sitting. Come the school year, I would be away between school hours. Because right now I'm working part-time I have plenty of extra time to fit walking your fur baby into my schedule! I have a large porch which leads down to a fenced-in yard. My fur baby personally loves sunning himself on the porch or going down to the yard and just exploring. The apartment itself is a renovated music studio so it is wide, spacious, and beautifully designed. Your fur baby would have his own feeding area and you are welcome to bring any toys or other comfort items. I've had to board my cat before so I know how important the small things are.

I have two high energy dogs, one of which can be reactive and a trouble maker. Natalie was patient, understanding, and excited to hang out with them for a couple hours while we were out for the day. When Billie takes care of my dog, she pays close attention to the skills he’s working on, and provides clear updates on how things went during their time together. She’s thoughtful about anticipating needs. For example, she prepared a Kong and left it in the freezer, so it would be ready for my dog to enjoy later. :)
My dog Pepper loved Tyler. Being a Patterdale Terrier she can sometimes be "distant" to new people but the images Tyler included in the Rover card taken during his walks with her show she was enjoying his company. Tyler was reliable and felt totally relaxed know he was taking care of her.
Another great experience with Amanda! We have a new rescue Corgi with some quirks and Amanda came every day during our vacation for walk/potty breaks and did a great job getting to know Reggie. She was flexible when it was too hot or smokey and just spent time with him in the yard, which was wonderful! She sent detailed updates and great pictures so I know he was well taken care of!
Cindy was perfect. She seems to truly care about dogs, especially ours. It was a comfort to know she could drop in twice to care for our Dear Floyd on our daughter’s wedding day. She followed all instructions and kept us updated. It was a comfort and a relief.
My dog Maggie grew comfortable with Hailey almost immediately. Hailey possesses a very calm and poised demeanor, perfect for our reactive dog.
