Every day in my life begins and ends with caring for the animals around me. This routine makes it easy to transition from providing care in my own home to attending to the needs of my clients. I am excited to meet and spend time with your pet! I enjoy doing drop in visits and would also be happy to stay in your home overnight to care for your furry family members. If your pet is used to sleeping with a human family member they are more than welcome to share my space!

As an owner of pets with special needs, I understand the importance of providing consistent empathic care and complying with medical or behavioral guidelines. The safety and comfort of your pets are my highest goals. I will treat your home with respect and am happy to bring in your mail or packages, take out your trash and recycling on pickup day, and follow instructions regarding the security of your home. As I have prior experience as a housecleaner you will always come home to a space that is at the very least just as tidy as you left it.

Please let me know how to put your pet at ease while I am with them. Particulars might be their preferred verbal or physical interaction with new humans. I am interested in each pet's light/noise/temperature preferences, and their regular sleep/wake/eat schedule. I like to know where to find cleaning products in case of accidents (they happen!) I also appreciate knowing any particular games they want to play, their favorite toys, and if they enjoy being groomed. If your pet will need walks I would love to know their preferred route, their leash training experience, and any challenges you are currently working on so that we can strategize together to ensure that your pet has a positive experience where we build on their skills. Please don't hesitate to let me know about your pets' unique personality traits or quirks. What makes them different is what makes them special and I am eager to tailor my care to their wants and needs. <3
A typical day
If your pet loves interaction and attention I would be happy to brush them, play with their favorite toy, or cuddle up with them on the couch and watch movies on my laptop. If they tend to be shy I will create a welcoming and inviting space for them to seek comfort and safety while you are away. I love singing and if a pet responds positively to it you may catch me on your doorbell or in-home cameras serenading your pets. :)

Pet care experience
I grew up in a multi-pet household and have always had a mix of cats and dogs that follow me from room to room- at present, I have three cats and one guinea pig. I have many years of experience rescuing, caring for, and rehoming pets. I appreciate the unique needs of senior and super-senior pets and the importance of compassion and kindness when working with anxious and/or reactive animals. Should a challenge arise, I will always collaborate with you to problem solve as I trust that you know your furbabies best. I am comfortable checking blood sugar with glucose monitors and giving insulin injections to diabetic pets. I also have experience giving subcutaneous fluids, oral medication (pill, liquid, powder), topical ointments and creams, eye drops, medicated baths, and spot-on medications.
