I have a degree in veterinary technology obtained in 2011. I have also worked with a large variety of animals not just limited to dogs and cats. My background also makes me extremely experienced with dosing any medications your pets may require as well. Additionally, I am available for ear cleanings and potentially nail trims depending on the pet for an additional fee.

Safety is key for me. Understanding your pet's routine is very important to me as having a strange person coming into the house when the owner isn't home can be extremely stressful for some pets and I want to make the experience positive every time. Each pet is different and I will take the time and notes to key in on individual behaviors that set each pet apart. I believe that the key to a good relationship is being able to identify the subtle signals a pet gives and have been able to consistantly get even the shy dogs to warm up to me.
Ratings and reviews
Amanda gave detailed explanations of our cat's condition and seemed to go above and beyond what we had asked. I think that for the charged rate, we left our cat in excellent care.

Our senior cat had an awful IBS flare right before vacation. We needed someone who could pay attention to the details and administer medications. We were first time Rover users and it was such a positive experience. Amanda was wonderful and made us feel so comfortable. We returned home to cat who was well on the mend. We also have two other younger cats who took to Amanda, too. It was fun to see at the initial meet-and-greet. The visit reports always made us feel good about enjoying our time away. We definitely will be contacting Amanda again!
Another great experience with Amanda! We have a new rescue Corgi with some quirks and Amanda came every day during our vacation for walk/potty breaks and did a great job getting to know Reggie. She was flexible when it was too hot or smokey and just spent time with him in the yard, which was wonderful! She sent detailed updates and great pictures so I know he was well taken care of!

Schedule
I am taking some time away from my current career and so my days are completely clear for pet care. I may consider pet care as a permanent replacement in the future as well.
