I have a degree in veterinary technology obtained in 2011. I have also worked with a large variety of animals not just limited to dogs and cats. My background also makes me extremely experienced with dosing any medications your pets may require as well. Additionally, I am available for ear cleanings and potentially nail trims depending on the pet for an additional fee.

Safety is key for me. Understanding your pet's routine is very important to me as having a strange person coming into the house when the owner isn't home can be extremely stressful for some pets and I want to make the experience positive every time. Each pet is different and I will take the time and notes to key in on individual behaviors that set each pet apart. I believe that the key to a good relationship is being able to identify the subtle signals a pet gives and have been able to consistantly get even the shy dogs to warm up to me.

This is the third time we have worked with Amanda to watch our cat on a prolonged trip. She takes such good care of our kitty. Amanda sends lots of photos, and our cat loves playing with her. Handing off of keys is easy, and she’s extremely flexible. We’ll absolutely work with her again.
Amanda gave detailed explanations of our cat's condition and seemed to go above and beyond what we had asked. I think that for the charged rate, we left our cat in excellent care.

I am taking some time away from my current career and so my days are completely clear for pet care. I may consider pet care as a permanent replacement in the future as well.
