“Katelyn provided great care for my shy little Quincy. I appreciated the daily check ins as this was the first time using Rover. I would ask Katelyn to care for Quincy in the future. Thanks. He was a hoppy boy when I got home.”

“Jill is so great. She is very loving to all animals and takes great care of them. I appreciated the thorough write up and pictures of my cats after her visit. I would definitely recommend Jill to anyone needing someone to care for their pets!”

“Juli was a perfect dog sitter. Mac took to her right away. She took him for walks and took very good care of him and he was healthy and happy when we got home. I would definitely hire her again. Thanks much!”

“Sonia was AMAZING! Our cats are usually a little scared of new people but after the second visit, they both came out to get pets from her. Sonia was very communicative, kind, and really loves animals. I recommend her to any cat owners, and I will definitely use her services again. 10/10”
About: I have lived with cats since I was 14 years old and have looked after cats and dogs independently since I was 16. I am comfortable with administering medications from my time working at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic. I typically work a week day that leaves me away from the house from the hours of 7am to 7pm. Please consider this when determining if I would be a good option for caring for your furry family! As I will be in your and your pets home, making sure everyone is comfortable with me in the space! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. If you have any specific concerns about going on walks or interacting with other humans and pets please let me know so I can abide by what works best for your family. I have been trained on how to pill animals who are nervous about medication to ensure that your pet recieves their medication and remains safe and supported in the process. If you should ask me to take care of your home I make sure to grab the mail daily and follow the motto of leave it better than you found it! I want to have you to come home to a clean house.
“Farah did a great job caring for Mitchell and Arlo! They were fed, medicated, and had plenty of water and clean litter boxes when we returned home. We will definitely ask her to care for them again!!”

“Meredith was incredibly thoughtful and reliable! I was so thankful for the detailed daily updates when I was gone for the week, and my cat seemed to truly love her!”

“Rachel did a great job taking care of our cat while we were out of town. We loved getting our daily Pickles update and she was a happy cat when we got home!”

“Joel provided an amazing drop-in service for us twice daily for 6 days for our 4 senior Dachshunds. He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met. Very satisfied with the job Joel did for us!!”

“Pingping is the best sitter anyone could ever ask for!! She is so kind, attentive, flexible, and always follows instructions. I can’t imagine leaving my cats with anyone else - I highly recommend booking with her!”

“Sarah took care of our cats, and I’ve came back to a clean fresh litter. She even clean some of the cats poop outside of the litter and feed/refill water. Definitely recommend her services. Thank you!”

About: I have had almost every pet growing up that you can imagine. I have dog/cat sat for many families. We lost our last cat about a year ago and are recently retired(early retirement😀). I would love to watch your pet while you are away! I am retired and do vacation for about a month in Jan. During the summer my husband and I do a lot of fishing but I would definitely go around your pets schedule! Your pet will be treated as a family member at my home! Beds, couches and other furniture will NOT be off limits unless you specify otherwise. I do have a large yard unfortunately not fenced in but a park across the street for walking and exercising!
“Carolyn is such a rockstar! She is reliable, flexible and brings such joy to our fur babies!! I can really tell how much they enjoy her visits and I look forward everyday to getting a rover card from Carolyn with the pups lunchtime adventures! HIGHLY recommend!”

About: Pets have been part of my family for my whole life. Current animals in my home include Timber (a 8-year-old English Cream Retriever) and Cedar (a 6-year-old tuxedo cat who is comfortable with cat-friendly dogs). My 1/4 acre lot features a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to run, and I am home almost all the time, so I can provide all the care and attention your pet needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! I work from home with a ton of flexibility. My schedule allows me the flexibility to give your pet all of the care they need. Your pet will receive constant care and attention with plenty of opportunity to play in my large, fenced yard. The interior of my family's home features plenty of space for your pet to relax comfortably, with room for crating if your pet needs. I have experience with pets who need medication (my own takes a twice daily medication) or special care. I would love to invite you to stop by for a meet-and-greet!

About: My name is Shevon and I'm an RN that mostly works from home. I am usually gone from home no more than 2-4 hours at a time 2-3 days a week. Although we're new to Rover, my fiancé (Ian) and I have lots of experience dog sitting for friends and family over the years as well as caring for our own dog. We have experience caring for sick dogs that require treatments, medications, and special diets. We adopted our dog as a puppy and completed multiple obedience courses through Canine Coach. We are able to care for puppies as long as they are able to wait 3-4 hours between bathroom breaks. We are willing to accept dogs that are not crate trained as long as they are not destructive when left alone. We would prefer to do a meet and greet to ensure your dog gets along with ours. **For those interested in Doggy Day Care, we can provide supervision for your dog throughout the day (aside from the occasion that I'm going to be out for 2-4 hours which I would confirm with you in advance), but want to be sure you know that if it's M-F I will have work to do. The dogs will get regular potty breaks and be free to play inside and outside. I can take them for a walk during my hour lunch break. I primarily work from home. Ian is home around 2:30-3pm each day. I may have meetings outside my home 2-3 days a week Monday through Friday. I am gone for no more than 2-4 hours at a time. Your dog would need to be able to go at least 4 hours between bathroom breaks. I am able to provide regular potty breaks and walks during my lunch break. We ensure that we stick to your pet’s regular feeding, walking, and sleeping schedule. We offer a pet friendly home with a fenced in backyard, fresh water, and toys! Lots of love, attention, and snuggles will be provided in order to ease separation anxiety! There is a beautiful nature preserve down the road along with other walking paths. We believe in open communication and transparency. We would send you text messages and picture updates of your fur baby while you're away.
Little Canada dog parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn’t be happier with the care our pets received while we were away. She went above and beyond for all of our furry family making sure they were well-fed, loved, and kept on their routines. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She also kept us updated with messages and photos, which meant so much while we were gone. We came home to very happy and relaxed pets. We would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to watch their pets.
Valeska is the best! She watched my dogs for me when I was on active duty. She adjusted the enrichment for the dogs based on the temperature outside — inside play and puzzles if it was hot, and fetch outside if it was cool enough. She always prioritizes their mental stimulation above all else. My dogs are skittish with new people and they warmed up quickly to her. I would recommend her to anyone!
