“Amanda was a fantastic cat sitter for us! We had a three-week trip planned and were a little nervous about leaving for so long but Amanda’s rover cards helped alleviate all of our worries. She was a great presence for our cat while we were away and took great care of him.”

About: I work with all ages of dogs! i have cared for dogs all my life; to puppies that have just been born to old senior dogs that need extra love and attention. I work very hard to make sure your dog(s) have the proper care and proper affection needed ! i am the biggest animal lover, and have grew up with dogs all my life. I hope your animal will love me too :)! i always try to care for any pets near me! whenever i’m at a friends or family i will always tend to their pets needs wether it’s dinner time or play time! I always try to make time for pets. I do have another job but I’m trying to lean more towards rover for my love of animals! I usually take the dogs on walks whenever i can and whenever i see they need their energy out, I always feed them on time and have no issue needing to put dogs in crates if needed. I always love playing with dogs and seeing their cute little tail wags, my favorite thing to do is to take funny/cute pics of pets!
“Sonia was AMAZING! Our cats are usually a little scared of new people but after the second visit, they both came out to get pets from her. Sonia was very communicative, kind, and really loves animals. I recommend her to any cat owners, and I will definitely use her services again. 10/10”
“Elizabeth was a fantastic sitter for our 19 year old cat. She was happy and content when we arrived home. She is usually anxiety ridden even when left for several hours. Elizabeth is a cat whisperer. Thank you so very much. Think Sienna misses her.”

When I’m not at work I am a single mom, and my daughter is 10 and we are very flexible with time I will accommodate to anything you request for your pet, I will give daily updates and pictures for every visit and will always follow the rules you have set for your home and pet.
About: About Me Hi! We are lifelong animal lovers with many years of experience caring for dogs. We currently have two playful terrier mixes who absolutely love meeting new dog friends. They enjoy running around the yard and playing—but are just as happy to relax and lounge around the house. Our Home We have a very dog-friendly home where pups truly get spoiled. Our dogs are welcome on the couch and even sleep in the bed with us, and your dog will be treated exactly the same! Whether your pup prefers walks, backyard playtime, or being lazy and cuddly, we’re happy to follow their routine. Family & Environment We do have children in the home, and they are gentle, respectful, and love dogs just as much as we do. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have kennels and baby gates available if needed—your dog’s safety and comfort are always our top priorities. What You Can Expect Your dog will be cared for as if they were part of our family. Plenty of attention, lots of love, and a fun, safe environment to play and relax. We can’t wait to welcome and spoil your fur baby! 🐾💛 We both work Full time, and would be around in the early mornings, and then back in the evening for walks, and playtime. Your pup will be in the house with our two dogs, while at work. Fully Fenced in yard, plenty of space to burn energy. Crate available if preferred to sleep or be in while we are at work. Toys, treats, and snuggles!

“We appreciated Mezi coming to let our pup out and play with him while we were out. Great communication and reliable, she even accommodated coming to meet us beforehand which we really appreciated. We will definitely use her again to watch him.”

“Ned came for a meet and greet so I could introduce LucyLulu and show him how I feed her, what commands we use and how to get her in and out of the house and kennel. LucyLulu liked Ned and he reported she was a good girl both visits. He lives very close and it is a good match.”

About: ✨️🐶 Please continue to read my profile (including availability and pricing sections) before requesting a meet & greet I have always loved and cared about the welfare of animals ever since I can remember, and even had several different pets of my own growing up that I cared for, including a couple of dogs (one of which lived to be 17 years old!). I have past experience with volunteering at organisations such as the SPCA (providing care for cats, dogs, and rabbits) and caring for cats at AniMall Cat Clinic. I have helped several close ones and neighbours thoroughout the years with pet care needs for their dogs and cats, which included: feeding, walking, providing transportation to veterinary appointments, and spending quality time with the pets, just giving them affection or playing games such as fetch/tug of war. I have experience with caring for breeds that are reactive to other dogs (but still love the company of humans), and with breeds that are often subject to housing or insurance restrictions, some of which have included: Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Huskies, Dobermans, and American Bullies. I focus on understanding each dog's individual temperament, communication style, and needs. I am also experienced in administering medication to both dogs and cats in oral, injectable, and topical forms. 🐾 I require a meet and greet with all new/first time clients before officially booking a house sitting. Please know that a stay is considered confirmed only after the meet and greet is completed, the booking has been mutually agreed upon, and has been officially booked through Rover. For longer stays (especially longer than 1 week), I would recommend you to reach out once you've fully decided that in-home care through Rover is the option you'd like to pursue. 🐾 Please also note that I do work M-F full time, excluding major holidays. For house sits that fall on weekdays, my standard on days that I am working onsite is to provide care mornings before work, evenings after work, and of course, stay overnight in the home. On the days that I am required to be onsite (which I communicate with pet parents), my ability to provide midday breaks is limited, and only available if my schedule and commute allow. For walks and drop ins in particular, I would be a great choice for pet parents that need care in evenings, nights, and weekends. I will listen to/observe your pet's body language and demeanour before approaching, and will always interact with them gently and kindly. On walks and out in the yard, I always use a leash or harness to keep the pet safe. Furthermore, I always strive to keep an eye out for any potential hazards to pets while they are in my care, whether that is something that spilled on the floor, or an unfamiliar object in the yard, and will always act swiftly to remove the hazard so your pet will be out of harm's way. I believe good pet care includes planning for the unexpected, so I like to establish emergency contacts, veterinary/animal hospital information, and contingency plans with every client before a stay (and preferably have these included in written directions too).

About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds and a wide variety of other animals. I’m excited to meet your pet and provide them everything they need! As a student in wildlife biology I have a fairly flexible schedule. Please contact me about days that are not immediately listed on my profile. Walks, cuddles, feeding, playing, medicating, cleaning up after, and general husbandry/enrichment are just the start of what I can provide for your pets. Please let me know about any particular services you may need!
“Katelyn was great! Her communication was always quick and friendly. She was flexible the day of our outing which we greatly appreciated. She sent lots of great photos and we knew our 4 dogs were well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, my name is Mark. I love meeting people's pets of all kinds. I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I also have a master's degree in behavioral science. My combination of lived experience and knowledge of behavioral science uniquely equips me to care for your animals in a kind and gentle manner, while still being responsible and reliable. These skills prepare me to help relax and de-escalate with anxious animals. I have a job which is flexible with my schedule, including working from home and choosing my own hours, which allows me more time with pets! I have a back yard with a fence that my senior dog can play in, as well as many parks nearby my home in Roseville.
About: I have experience with all types of cats, dogs and small animals. I have had pets since I was a child and love them dearly. I work full time Monday- Friday but my job is flexible. I am able to walk your pet before or after work and on the weekends. If you have a small animals or cats, I can make daily drop ins or work woth you and your pets needs. I cannot watch your pets at my home because I live in an apartment. But I am willing to drop in at your home for walks or care. I can send updates and pictures of your pets and provide daily updates on how they are doing.
About: I grew up with a love for animals and loved learning and gaining experience with different animals. Growing up, my neighborhood had an issue with a large feral cat population. With a big family and a three bedroom apartment, we didn’t have much room to take them in. However, my siblings and I took it upon ourselves to take care of them as best as we could. In high school, my love for animals encouraged me to get a pet crested gecko that I kept for almost 2 years before rehoming him when I moved into my college dorm. Currently, I work Friday-Sunday so my availability those days will be after 6pm only. I attend classes Monday-Thursday, but my schedule is very flexible those days. My love for animals has taught me many different facts and safety tips around pet care. I also have lots of expertise with calming animals, especially cats, in high stress situations to ensure safety.
About: I worked at a doggy daycare for about a year. I have worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have experience with feeding, bathing, light grooming, and administering oral and topical medications. I have also cared for my own dog for 4 years. I just graduated from college in December 2025 and I am working part-time before I start my masters program in June! I am generally available between 8:45am-12pm and 6pm-8pm on weekdays (besides Thursday mornings I am unavailable). I don’t provide services in my own home, and I am not currently accepting new clients for house sitting, but this is what you can expect for drop-ins: I will be on time and meet your pet’s needs! Whether that means waiting to leave until they do their business/finish eating, or giving a longer snuggle (even if it means running over my scheduled time). Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority!
About: I have had dogs since I was born and have always needed one in my home for me to feel comfortable and safe. I love every dog I come across and think every dog is so unique and cute! I’ve taken care of my dogs from puppy stages to senior citizen age! My family and friends have trusted me to take care of their dogs. I’m working part time and would always make time for the dog! My schedule is flexible when needed! My dog at home gets TONS of attention(maybe too much)! I live in a big neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks and parks to walk the dogs around. Also like close to a dog park if necessary for extra exercise!

Cari did a great job during a drop in with Honey! She was able to let her out twice and get her to take her meds even though she is anxious and wary of people coming into the house. Cari is a great communicator too! I would definitely recommend her and plan to use her again.

Ava was really amazing. She was very professional, and above all she was very thoughtful, kind and caring with our senior with special needs dog. She met with us prior to our scheduled drop ins so she was familiar with Cole’s needs and routines. She was an exceptional communicator, sending pictures and updating us with how things were going, and very understanding with our shy senior dog. We would highly recommend her and definitely look forward to using her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Shoreview with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
