I am an experienced home sitter with the ability to handle daily needs and emergencies competently, who is at the top of anyone's list when asked who they most associate with animal love and care. I pride myself on connecting with pets on their level while following pet owner requests with exact detail. Don't be shy about asking for your own expectations of what care would look like - all of us have quirks or different ways of treating our pets and most pets have some behavior issues. The only animals that I will not accept are those which require above-average exercise, such as jogging or biking. I am extremely respectful of privacy and my only interest is getting to know your pet(s) and keeping them safe, happy and satisfied. My schedule is flexible and I work from home so your fur babies would not be crated/left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time when necessary. 'Leave it better than you found it' is my general motto. I don't drink or smoke and I bring everything I might need with me, including food. While dogs are my main love, I am happy to sit for cats, fish, turtles, birds, hamsters, chickens, reptiles etc. as well. Let's connect - I can't wait to meet your pets and make sure we're a match.

Whether your pets run the home or you run the pets (and everywhere in between), I will treat your pets how YOU want them to be taken care of. I'm happy to continue whatever training methods you use while you're away or lay on the couch with them "all day," if that is what your pet is used to. I accept and discount multiple-pet homes, especially if there is a fenced in yard or they already walk well on a leash. Your animals will be well loved and cared for! I have experience with and understand the importance of medications being administered at a precise time. You can count on me - and I'm happy to send a message each time it's done, of you'd like.

This was our first time with Cari. She’s very nice and my dogs seemed to like her. I felt very comfortable leaving g my dog with her today.
Cari was a fabulous pet sitter. She communicated well and we were very happy with the care she provided our goldendoodle. Definitely will book with her again and recommend others to.

Cari was awesome! Our dog has a few reactive tendencies but after our meet and greet I felt confident in Cari. She was great about keeping us in the loop while we were away, sending pictures as well as taking on a few extra things like watering flowers and checking pool chemicals. Upon our return our home was as we left it. I would recommend Cari and will hire her again!
Cari was amazing! We have two huskies and one with significant health issues. The pups love her, she gave us on time updates, was able to administer twice daily meds, and created a safe and calm environment. Glad we found her and have already booked again for our next weekend away!
Cari was very conscientious and a great communicator. Our dogs loved her and were calm and relaxed when we got home. We will definitely use her services again!

My rates are a reflection of my ability to care for your pets nearly 24/7 (and they flutuate depending on how booked I am). I feel that this arrangement is more stabilizing for pets who may otherwise feel anxious about being without their humans.
