About: Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm new to Rover though certainly not to pet care! I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, so I'm lucky to have grown up with a family who owned both cats and dogs, teaching me the responsibilities of pet care from a very young age. Additionally, I spent 3 years throughout highschool and into college employed as a supervising kennel attendant at a dog and cat boarding facility. In this role, I learned so much about the patience, attention-to-detail, compassion, and dependability required for pet caretaking, and can say with confidence that these assets have stuck with me and now shape the way that I care for my own pet, Mickey :) I've had the opportunity to work with dogs and cats of practically all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also experienced in administering medications, caring for pets with seizures, and faciliating pet socialization! About: I am an experienced home sitter with the ability to handle daily needs and emergencies competently, who is at the top of anyone's list when asked who they most associate with animal love and care. I pride myself on connecting with pets on their level while following pet owner requests with exact detail. Don't be shy about asking for your own expectations of what care would look like - all of us have quirks or different ways of treating our pets and most pets have some behavior issues. The only limitation on animals that I will not accept are those which require above-average exercise, such as jogging or biking. I am extremely respectful of privacy and my only interest is getting to know your pet(s) and keeping them safe, happy and satisfied. My schedule is flexible and I work from home so your fur babies would not be crated/left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time when necessary. 'Leave it better than you found it' is my general motto. While dogs are my main love, I am happy to sit for cats, fish, turtles, birds, hamsters, reptiles etc. as well. My schedule is very flexible and I work from home so I would be able to care for pets nearly 24/7 or stop in during "off" hours if needed. About: With over 30 years experience with animals of all types, your pet is in terrific hands. We (John and Erin) have 4 dogs of our own and we've fostered over 55 dogs over the last year and half (6 of which are in our profile picture!). We've nurtured these dogs and, eventually, adopted them to loving families of their own. We've seen it all, and we're happy to watch over your pet! We are both home during the day and have flexible schedules. We can check on your pet throughout the day, in the evening, or on weekends. Every dog is different, and we will provide the level of care needed for each pet. At our home, we have a fully fenced backyard, with quiet streets for walks. In a client's home, we will provide whatever care is needed based on the instructions we receive. Every dog is different - some require more care than others. About: I work with all ages of dogs! i have cared for dogs all my life; to puppies that have just been born to old senior dogs that need extra love and attention. I work very hard to make sure your dog(s) have the proper care and proper affection needed ! i am the biggest animal lover, and have grew up with dogs all my life. I hope your animal will love me too :)! i always try to care for any pets near me! whenever i’m at a friends or family i will always tend to their pets needs wether it’s dinner time or play time! I always try to make time for pets. I do have another job but I’m trying to lean more towards rover for my love of animals! I usually take the dogs on walks whenever i can and whenever i see they need their energy out, I always feed them on time and have no issue needing to put dogs in crates if needed. I always love playing with dogs and seeing their cute little tail wags, my favorite thing to do is to take funny/cute pics of pets!

About: I have had two dogs in my life but have been the “best aunt ever” for many of my brothers and friends dogs. I understand that not all dogs are the same, they have their preferences, their likes/dislikes, and their levels of activity and stimulus. As a sitter I think they key thing is to keep up with their regular routines and following the rules established by their owners. I love to spoil a dog and take them on more walks and more cuddles than normal because when owners/parents are on vacation it can also be a vacation for the dog(s). But if a dog needs specific guidelines and rules then it’s more important to keep up with their routines because routine is so important for pets! I work a full time job from anywhere with internet. My job is pretty flexible so if I need to walk a dog at a certain time or have a cat sit on my lap all day I can usually make that work. I also don’t currently have any pets so pets can also stay in my house if that’s more comfortable for the owners. I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of fun smells. Half the yard is five feet fence but some is a shorter chainlink fence. We have a magnetic screen on the back door that pets can go from inside to out which we can have open so they have full range of the yard or we can close it so we can be with them when they go out.

About: I was raised in a big, animal-loving family and we usually had as many animals in the home as children (dogs, cats, rabbits, the occasional wounded squirrel or bird🤣). I have always rescued animals but have experience around puppies up to elderly dogs. About 4 years ago we lost our beloved heart-dog Rosie- a beautiful Chow mix that we were blessed to give a second chance. She was spoiled rotten! We miss her every day and in this season as a stay-at-home mom to two toddlers we are really feeling a void of having an animal to love on. This won't just be a job for us. Your animal will be given tender love and care as if they were our own. We will be pouring the love and energy into your animal and it will make us feel closer to heaven and our Rose bud. I'm hoping to connect to clients whose animals love attention from kids! I would like to teach them boundaries and respect for animals and the therapeutic impact it can have on you. I have a soft spot for elderly and previously neglected animals and if you're handicapped or elderly and need the social visit just as much as your animal does- we're your gals! I am also a hairstylist so the chances your pup or cat will get a little extra brushing time is high along with a free storytime by one of my girls. Please give us girls a chance! ~Ashley I am a high-energy stay-at-home mom with quite a bit of day time and evening flexibility. If you're not comfortable with kids being along on visits and walks then I just need a few days notice to secure care for them. I always will visit first alone to get to know you and/or your pet and their routines. I take safety and boundaries very seriously and am very big on lots of communication.
