About: I currently work full time nights at a hospital and I am also previously worked in emergency vet medicine for 4 years. I have always loved animals big and small. I hope to get to care for yours soon! I am here to care for your pets in the exact same way you do while you are away. You just let me know how you would like me to care for them and I will do just that. I have stayed over nights with a Labradors, beagles, golden retriever, Pomeranian, cats, Australian shepherd etc. and we had a blast. I can also give baths as needed or medication if they are on daily pills/oral liquid/shots anything. I hope you will consider me and I hope to help you out soon!!! I do work full time however I work nights so I am home during the day taking care of my own golden. So I am happy to assist you and take care or check in on your baby/babies! I treat your house like my own. I cleaned houses growing up and I always treated others houses with respect and care. If I move/use something I put it back etc.

About: This is my third year taking care of pets through Rover, and I have loved every second of it! I grew up with a cat and two dogs, which helped foster my love for animals and helped provide me with the skills I need to care well for your fur babies! I’ve learned a lot over these past couple of years working with a whole range of different breeds and temperaments of dogs and cats, and it has just fueled my love for taking care of animals! My favorite part about this job is getting to know your fur babies! Every animal has such a unique personality, and figuring out their favorites (like their favorite toy, scratch spot, activity) is the best part of my job! I absolutely love dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, and would love to care for yours in any capacity you are looking for! I am currently working part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible, which means I will have plenty of time to care for and hang out with your fur babies!! I am not available to host your animal in my home, as I live in an apartment complex! However, I am willing to go on walks and hikes with your fur baby along with going on little drives if needed as I have a vehicle that I am comfortable having animals in! I am also happy to just hang out with your fur baby at your home playing and cuddling!

About: Countless friends and family have asked me to watch their pets while they're out of town especially last minute. I respect and care about each pet, trying to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. I work remotely a few days per week and available on weekends. Schedule can be flexible depending on service. Also tend to be available on holidays. When I visit a client's home, I keep it the same as when I came in. I respect and keep their home clean and try to have the pets as comfortable as possible.

About: Doggy Daycare: My husband Mark and I are a great team and this includes caring for your dog(s)! When you entrust your dog(s) to our care you get a 2 in 1 package deal! Mark works from home and has a flexible schedule, allowing him to love on your dogs, let them out during the day, and keep their water/food bowls filled. I am also available at different parts of the week to help out. Dog Walking: I (Megan) have grown up with dogs my whole life. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker for a year, interacting with and walking many different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, from very small dogs to very large dogs (I used to have a 90 lb Bull Mastiff named Hagrid; he was a gentle giant who doesn't understand his own size <3). We view our jobs as adapting to whatever your dog(s) need. We will follow the directions outlined for your sweet furry loves. Mark is working from home and has flexibility to spend time with your dog(s) throughout the day. Megan works outside the home on some days but will take any opportunity to love on your dog(s) as much as possible! Doggy Daycare: We have a fully fenced in yard with a three foot fence. We allow dogs on the furniture (if their parents allow it!) and they will have freedom to roam our large rambler. We always use positive reinforcement with our charges and work to build the relationships with them; this includes talking to them as people and then answering back in a voice we imagine the dogs using. :) Walking: While walking dogs I (Megan) make sure to pay attention to their needs, when they need to take a potty break, when they might be getting excited over seeing another dog or squirrel, and their overall demeanor. I will ask if you're okay with your dog(s) stopping to smell the proverbial roses or if you'd like them to stay in the heeled position and get in more exercise.

About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. I also will be sure to send updates and pet pics every time I visit and you’re welcome to text me at any point for an update. I’m an extremely clean and tidy person and will leave your home better than I found it.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
