About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. We had 2 dogs and 2 cats when I was growing up. I've been walking dogs since I was little. And I know all the dogs in my neighborhood on a first name basis. I work from home and generally have plenty of time throughout the day for walks and cuddles. My husband also loves helping out and playing with them. I have a big backyard that's mostly fenced in (each of my surrounding neighbors have fences). If I notice a potential issue, such as an aggressive or uncontrolled dog nearby, I am quick to create distance and avoid situations that could lead to conflict. I pay close attention to my surroundings and make decisions with the dog’s safety in mind at all times. About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins.
