While I don’t currently offer in home boarding because I have a variety of pets of my own, I absolutely love providing care in a pet’s home where they feel most comfortable and at ease. I’m located in Fridley, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet after we’ve chatted and gotten all the details squared away. I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I previously ran a guinea pig foster-based rescue and have also worked at a doggy daycare and a veterinary hospital, where I cared for boarding, grooming, and surgery patients as a kennel assistant. Although cats may be very different from dogs, I have just as much experience and intuition when it comes to caring for them. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, I’d also love to bring my Great Dane, Reuben, along for overnight bookings. He would be thrilled to have a new friend to play with and keep company! Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.

For clients home I provide consistent, attentive pet sitting by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, daily walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship to keep pets calm and comfortable in their own environment. I also administer medication if needed, monitor behavior for any changes, and ensure water bowls are always fresh and full. I keep the home tidy by cleaning up after pets and respecting your space. About: I’ve taken in many animals in need and got them supplies and environments they needed. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, turtles, and snakes in my past. I currently have two cats and one dog. I work from home so I can make some times others can’t due to working out of the home. I’m not always busy on the weekends and can help take care of your fur/non fur babies. Water, walks, bathroom needs, feeding, and some medicine applications. I like to give lots of cuddles to animas who want it and I typically leave shy animas alone unless I am approached. Always start with hand sniffs before applying pets.

PS - If you are wanting a house sit it is just me and not Thomas since we live in different areas now. Unfortunately we got an update from our housing authority (in Minneapolis) that we aren't supposed to have dogs 50 lb or more in the condo, so we can not accept bigger dogs unless its for a short duration. Thomas is a homebody and just goes into his art studio for a couple of hours in St Paul Mon-Fri. His hours are very flexible usually from 11:30am-3pm and can be less if needed to be home with a pet. My schedule is also flexible as I do online sales. I put my clients needs first! Ultimately I'm working for you so I want your cares and concerns to be met. I am very happy to use your toys to play with your pet as well as pamper them. Give them just enough attention and space to warm up to me. Let me know if your pets have any dietary needs. I have experience taking care of pets with seizures as well and giving their medicine in with their daily meals.

About: I have had my own dog since I was 4. I also have been a dog sitter for many of my neighbors for years. I have experience with frequent visits during the day and overnight sitting. I’ve also had experience with special conditions such as giving medication and caring for pets who are ill. For example, my dog needs ear drops and allergy medication, so I have experience with those types of medication specifically. I also have experience cat sitting and caring for other pets, like small rodents or snakes. Currently I am working full time, hybrid, with two days in the office. I’m available for visits during the mornings and afternoons/nights during the week or weekend. I will be more available during the holiday season as well and can sit for an extended period of time if you are on vacation. About: I’ve grown up with animals in the house and on the farm my entire life, from small dachshunds to chow chows to large hunting labs. We’ve had very rascal puppies, young high energy dogs, and very senior dogs on medications and needing special attention. I’ve house sat all sizes of dogs, from terriers and corgis to golden retrievers, as well as cats, both friendly and standoff-ish. Growing up with animals in the house, I know firsthand that pets aren’t pets, they are family, you love them dearly, when they get sick you clean up after them, and they make the world go round. I love pets that are very involved with everyday life (see my photos) of pets “helping” with homework, regular walks and play time, and bedtime snuggles, as well as pets that are in their own world and coexistence works best. I work full-time outside the house, M-F, so I’m mainly looking for weekends and overnights. I’m able to check-in on my lunch breaks when needed, and happy to do so. I grew up in the country and our dogs roamed free, while most animals that I’ve house sat have fenced in yards, so regular walks and active play is necessary. I’m used to animals both being left to roam the house or be crated during the day. I’m a pretty active person and my animals are active parts of my life, so if your pet enjoys people and is able-bodied, we’ll probably be going on lots of walks, finding nearby parks, eating meals together, and snuggling up to watch a movie. No one is allowed to meet your animal unless there is prior approval, especially no other animals unless yours is friendly and willing. I (unfortunately) have experience with animals getting sick, jumping a fence and going for a run, and unfriendly dogs coming close. I recognize these are all unwanted, however very possible, and having experience navigating and handling these often stressful situations, is needed to keep your animal safe and comfortable. I take every precaution to mitigate these risks, and have learned from my own animals and their mischievery.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats as a service since 2016. Every animal is different so I enjoy speaking with the owners beforehand and getting to bond with critters that are different than mine. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes and love caring for cats. I have cared for Guinea Pigs, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep and cattle as well. Farm sitting outside of the Twin Cities area available on weekends only ( Fri.pm-Sun afternoon). Weekly stays available only in Minneapolis due to full-time employment. Previously, I have stayed overnight to keep the in home animals company and keep the house safe while folks are away. I can clean and bring in the mail. About: I work at pet hospital as a veterinary assistant now. I have 1 large dog which is Alaskan malamute, 1 medium sized dog Shiba Inu and 3 cats which are British shorthair, ragdoll and domestic cat. I am professional at taking care of them. I majored in animal science working on pre veterinary programs at the University of Minnesota twin cities. I can do basic wellness check for pets. I used to help my friends taking care of their dogs including walking two dogs together, feed and bath. I’m basically free every day. I’ve been walking dogs for a bit and otherwise have spent my entire life around all types of creatures from fish to guinea pigs to horses! My dear childhood cat, Swiper, passed January 2025 after having him for 14ish years (since I was three!) He was an orange cat (if you know you know 😅) and we had many other cats when I was growing up. We’ve had my dog for eight years, since he was a puppy! Chubbs is a very energetic, quirky Dudley Lab who has given me TONS of walking experience. From both him and other dogs, I have much experience with large, high-energy pullers with many triggers and quirks. My number one priority is making your furry friend feel safe, cared for, and loved, and I can easily adapt to any pets needs—I’ve been around animals with all types of triggers and quirks, from puppies and kittens to seniors. I truly hold so much love for animals and whether it’s giving your dog a good walk, checking on your babies or keeping them company while you’re away I’d be honored to care for your furry friend! 💗 I just finished high school a few months ago and am taking a gap year while I figure out what I want to do, and I’m currently not working so my availability is wide open!
