“Highly recommend! Although our dog was nervous at first, Nate spent extra time getting our puppy to trust him. They had a wonderful walk together. We would book again!”

“Jennifer is our hero! She helped us take care of our elderly mother's dog, Aussie, while she was in Hospice. Jennifer walked Aussie three times a day and Aussie loved her! I would highly recommend Jennifer -- she is caring, communicative and always bright and cheery!”
About: I've cared for my cat all throughout middle & high school. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, crate, feed, and care for their cats and dogs consistently for the last 3 years. I'm currently working part time. My job is incredibly flexible, so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your pets! I am available for a drop-in visit after 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays & anytime on weekends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I would love to play with & check on your dog or cat - whatever you prefer!
About: Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm new to Rover though certainly not to pet care! I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, so I'm lucky to have grown up with a family who owned both cats and dogs, teaching me the responsibilities of pet care from a very young age. Additionally, I spent 3 years throughout highschool and into college employed as a supervising kennel attendant at a dog and cat boarding facility. In this role, I learned so much about the patience, attention-to-detail, compassion, and dependability required for pet caretaking, and can say with confidence that these assets have stuck with me and now shape the way that I care for my own pet, Mickey :) I've had the opportunity to work with dogs and cats of practically all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also experienced in administering medications, caring for pets with seizures, and faciliating pet socialization! I understand how difficult it can be to leave home and trust your fur baby with someone new. It is for that reason that I promise to do my very best to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease with my care! Please reach out with any questions about my services! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon! While I do work a fulltime job Monday-Friday, I am happy to help with your pet needs whenever I can! I am available most times on the weekends for overnights and walks, and available any day of the week for check-ins, especially for cats! I take pride in creating a comfortable and personalized experience for pets in my care. In caring for pets in clients' homes, I communicate effectively about your animal's favorite activities, toys, treats, etc. in order to best provide them with comfort and fun while you are away!
“Dawn is so super sweet with the pups and is super good at getting Harley, my shy girl, out of the house without disturbing my meetings. Thank you for being so great with them!!!! I would highly recommend Dawn.”
“Anaiah has been an incredible dog walker for our two dogs. She's extremely reliable, visiting them twice a day, two times a week. We’ve heard from our apartment building staff that she is highly professional and a joy to have around. My partner and I have found her to be a very friendly and kind person who takes a sincere interest in our puppy's training. Her dedication is clear in how she ensures our dogs get the perfect mix of playtime, potty breaks, and walks. She truly goes above and beyond for our pets, and we couldn't recommend her more highly.”

I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. We had 2 dogs and 2 cats when I was growing up. I've been walking dogs since I was little. And I know all the dogs in my neighborhood on a first name basis. I work from home and generally have plenty of time throughout the day for walks and cuddles. My husband also loves helping out and playing with them. I have a big backyard that's mostly fenced in (each of my surrounding neighbors have fences). There's plenty of room throughout my entire house for your little baby to make themselves at home

About: I had a dog, Ace, for 12 years who passed away February 2020. He had a heart condition so I’m comfortable administering meds. He was a bully breed so I can also handle stubborn and slightly aggressive dogs. I give great scratches and cuddles! I am currently not working so I’m free all day. I will be able to be at your home most of the day if needed. I can provide lots of walks and cuddle time! I was a firm but loving dog owner so I will do the same for your pet. I love both dogs and cats and miss caring for one. I will give your pet all the love and care that I gave my dog Ace. I used to crate my dog during the day so I’m comfortable doing that for your pet if needed.

New Brighton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kimberlee was so great to work with for a walk with Beau! She communicated quickly, which was helpful as this was a last minute booking and made me feel confident that I could rely on her. She was responsive to all the instructions that I left, came right at the agreed upon time and gave updates on how Beau did on the walk including some photos of how happy he looked to be out and about. If you are looking for someone to help with your pup I would highly recommend!
