About: I'm not sure if this sets me apart from anyone on this site but, I love dogs. My family loves dogs. We have had them in our lives for our entire lives, some shorter for shorter spurts than others. One thing I found out from each gifted moment was that dogs are not just there to own. They are there for us as much as we are for them sometimes more. We offer a family setting full of love and joy, pets and snuggles. My wife is a certified dog instructor who has worked for rover in the past. I loved doing it so much I wanted to take it back up! Pet care can be implemented at any point throughout the day. I can take them for regularly scheduled walks if necessary upon availability (to avoid double bookings) I have a fully 6 ft privacy fenced yard (60×85). We have many dog toys we have retained from previous loved ones and two energetic children that love to run and play. Comfy surfaces everywhere.

“Juli was a perfect dog sitter. Mac took to her right away. She took him for walks and took very good care of him and he was healthy and happy when we got home. I would definitely hire her again. Thanks much!”

“Abigail was amazing from the jump, coming over in advance to meet our two cats, and sent us great updates and photos at every check-in. Highly recommend booking with her!”

About: In my family we have always had some sort of household pet. My first dog was a rottweiler and my dog right now is a pit bull mix. In addition to my dogs I also have a cat and I used to have fish. I have been dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family since I was 14 years old. My pet-sitting jobs have consisted of lots of walking, checking in on pets multiple times a day, and even some dog walking jobs that extended over a month. I am a pro at handling dogs of all shapes and sizes with different energy levels. I am extremely flexible when it comes to pet-sitting and/or dog walking and I am always happy to make some tails wag! Currently I am in school but I will be graduated by May 2026! Right now I have a light school schedule so I am available for majority of the day starting at 1:30 PM during the week. On weekends I am available whenever! In the summer time I have a very flexible job at an Ice cream shop so I will be available almost every day, all day. With my own dog and cat I have a routine that satisfys both of there needs. With my high energy dog I make sure to satisfy all those zoomies with lots of play times and at least one good walk a day. I make sure to give my dog consistent baths and I always leave my door open so she can sleep in my bed! In addition to that I also have a set routine of checking my dogs water and food bowl to make sure her needs are met. On the other hand my cat is more chill and doesn't require as much playing. Instead she likes to cuddle with me on the couch. Similar to my dog, I also have set times when I check her litter box, food, and water dish. My dog and cat sort of have opposite personalities but I love them so much! I am happy to meet any pets needs whether they are high energy, low energy, young, or old.
“Sara did a great job with a week of daily check ins for our two cats. She was timely and was not in a rush when they needed some extra attention. Will definitely use her again!”

“Thank you so much Ned for your service in taking care of LucyLulu and London on Election day so I could be an Election Judge for 15 hours and not have to worry about the dogs with you coming three times. I appreciate your report stating they were both good. Take care and thanks again. Tip processed.”

“Katelyn follows directions and requests perfectly. My home is as I left it! She’s come to check in on Oakley six times now and I am grateful the plan is for her to continue. She’s responsive with communication as well.”

“Our baby boy boxer looks forward to seeing Carolina everyday. We know it because he sits and waits at the back door for her on the weekends and pouts when she doesn't come. Could not recommend her more highly and so appreciate her and the care and attention she gives to our little guy.”

“Katelyn took great care of our cats while we were out of town for over a week. Great communication with me about the visits and very responsive. Will definitely be using her again for future cat sitting needs.”

About: Hello, I grew up with cats and dogs. May fur babies have always had a special place in my heart and home. In college I would watch my friends dogs ?pro-bone-o ? ( humor not extra!) I used to have a 70 pound Australian cattle dog/ Red Pointer mix. I discovered Rover and realized I could make a little extra income. As a pet parent myself I know what it feels like to be away from your baby. Whether you are away from home just for the day or on an overnight trip you can be sure that your fur babies are taken care of :) I am currently on a sabbatical so I will have plenty of time for your fur baby’s. My availability is flexible so I hope I can fit your needs. Safety is very important to me, so if you have a specific instructions please let me know and I will do my best to follow them.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats. I grew up with both and had a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet. Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, or a cozy companion while you’re away, I’m here to help! I provide attentive, loving care and will treat your pet like my own. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet your furry friend! I kindly request to care for only non-reactive dogs. I'd also prefer hypoallergenic dogs or those that do not shed terribly (as my allergies are getting worse). I work from home a few days a week and am home most weekends. I’d love to have some furry friends to join me! I’m open for midday walks on my work from home days and am open to evening walks most days. I don’t currently have any pets of my own so your pet will get my full attention. I do have a 6 year old who loves animals and will play too! I can crate your pet, if that’s preferred and will give them time outside on a leash.
About: I am a dedicated dog lover with hands-on experience caring for large breeds, especially strong, energetic pups like German Shepherds, Huskies, and other working breeds. I’m comfortable and confident handling dogs who need a calm, steady leader — including those who may be reactive to other dogs, people, or environmental triggers. I also have experience caring for dogs with special medical needs. I have experience applying ointments, eye drops, and administering pills and liquid medicines. I understand that cats have unique personalities and routines, and I’m comfortable with everything from feeding schedules and litter box care to administering medications and giving space to shy or independent cats. I provide calm, attentive care and make sure every pet feels safe, respected, and comfortable in their own home while you’re away. I like to be transparent when I take care of other peoples fur babies and will often share updates via text with added videos and photos of the time I spend with your pet, as well as time stamped detail of feeding, playtime, and potty updates. Pet care is a planned and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I organize my schedule to ensure I have dedicated time for walks, drop-ins, feeding, play, and companionship without feeling rushed. I build in flexibility to accommodate different pet needs, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when needed. Because I plan my time carefully, I’m able to be reliable, punctual, and fully present for every pet in my care. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. In my client’s home, I make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box care, and medications are handled exactly as instructed. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and any behavioral or medical needs. For dogs, I focus on safe, structured walks, positive reinforcement, and calm handling. For cats, I provide attentive care while respecting their boundaries, keeping their environment clean, and offering affection at their comfort level. I always prioritize safety, clear communication, and leave detailed updates so pet parents feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: I’ve always had a dog around growing up, and I have had several cats, fish, even mice. I have experience with big dogs (I had a 12 yr. old Great Pyrenees!) and small. I have been a regular sitter for several families, pet sitting for weeks at a time. I’d love to meet your furry friend! I walk every day and love company from pets! I like evening walks the best, but I can accommodate and be super flexible. I am flexible with house drop ins or sitting. I am unable to allow pets in my home since it is a shared space. I have been house & pet sitting for friends and family for years. I’m a rule follower and pay attention to small details of care!
“Peter cared for our 3 large dogs with no hesitation! He was a great communicator and very flexible with our schedule. We would definitely trust him to come back any time!”

“Shawntil was great. She followed my cat's care instructions, she was quick to respond, wrote updates, and posted very cute pictures daily. I'd trust Shawntil to care for my cat again. I would recommend her if you're looking for drop-in cat visits.”

New Brighton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Reyhan is super sweet and detail oriented! They took great care of my two boy kitties, and even made sure our place was taken care of while away. I always worry being away from my boys for longer than a few days, but my worries were significantly lessened with Reyhan taking care of them! My shy kitty even started to warm up to Reyhan, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the rover cards each time. I’d love to have Reyhan again!

Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of our senior cat and our hamster!! She went above and beyond to make sure that Lola was given her daily doses of medications, even though Lola isn’t the friendliest cat and likes to hide from strangers. We felt so comfortable knowing our pets were in good hands.

Ximena a did a great job with our two dogs while we were away helping us with drop ins. She was attentive- asking pertinent questions regarding their needs, routines, cares and responsive with any questions we had. She provided updates with each drop in as well as lots of pictures so we knew our pups were thriving and well taken care of in our absence. We have a husky that can be an escape artist and were nervous to use an outside person and her attention to detail made us feel a lot better. We appreciated having her & would use her in the future.

Ari and Nihita did a great job with my boys! They communicated well, helped me update my booking when plans changed, and were easy to reach the entire time I was gone. I received lots of cute photos of both of cats and felt less stressed knowing they were taken care of. I would recommend them to others!
