Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. -House-Trained & Vaccinated: Up-to-date vaccinations and basic house-training are required to keep all our pets healthy and safe. Guests should be comfortable around cats (or happy to ignore them) and enjoy playing or peacefully coexisting with other dogs. Our dog is crate trained and sleeps there each night. Happy to crate as well. We have a separate guest space for dogs who want a bit more space to relax in an unfamiliar place.
About: I've been around dogs since I was little, and with what I do for work, I have a lot of experience with all kinds of breeds and levels of energy! My dogs are my life, and coming home to my them is the best part of my day! I love taking them to the dog park, and working on casual training! I have a fenced yard, and I live on a cul-de-sac in an area not too close to many busy roads. My dogs are fed once in the morning and once in the evening, and are let outside more times per day than I can count. Playtime is a must, and my girls love tug! About: I have lots of patience for all kinds of animals with all kinds of behaviors. I am passionate about cats dogs, and any pet I meet. I am often the favorite human to the animals in my life. I currently have a part time job but am planning to do full time school in the fall. I will have time outside of classes, and plenty of time over the summer, to care and play with your pets! About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
